Why are you wasting your time persisting with this obvious genetic fuck up.........get rid of it! Not all seeds are destined for greatness! Es ist pech.........aber, nichts gute kommt davon!

Hello. Yes, Sometimes this happens. I have a few ideas as to why this happens... It's called, Pythium Root Rot Fungus and it's spores are in the water and chlorine doesn't kill them. The plant is fighting the infection in the root. The plant might heal in a few weeks or the fungus might win. Next... If the interior of the seed get below 8% rh the seed might not sprout, because the energy sack (fatty acids), that is inside all seeds, has got too dry. I recommend using RO water for all your sprouting. Start off by getting rid of as much fungus as possible. You'll have a better chance of full germination. I also recommend a soak of 24 hours in RO water, 2 cups of water and 4 drops of 30% Hydrogen Peroxide. It helps clean the water. As well as it softens the membrane so the seed doesn't have to work so hard to get out of it. Then into the paper towel or straight into the sterilized soil, solo cup. A temp of around 100* f will kill most spores, so slightly steaming the soil will kill most fungus. Hope that helps. Try this one out... www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganga-blog/how-to-professionally-germinate-cannabis-seeds It's a really sterile procedure but it will give you a good idea. Chuck.

bunch of nodes stacked on top of each other -- more obvious than the previous question that it got too much light too soon. Also, looks like you dripped fertilizer on it? avoid foliar sprays except as a reaction to a specific problem. foliar sprays for the sake of spraying the plant is an e-peen and not much benefit. also, much simpler to irrigate properly if you use a pot size that matches plant size. It's a myth that potting up will shock or delay a plant's growth. It's something so simple you can be competent about it from teh start. I've yet to see 1 shocked plant after roughly 400 times i've potted up a plant. So the risk is nonexistent as long as you don't molest the rootball with some retard-strength kung-fu grip. Don't let that bro science stop you from doing things correctly. No matter how you try, there will be differences between how each plant is treated in addition to genetic differences. Let go of the idea that you have more control than you actually have over this. It'll only lead to poor conclusions and avoids any self-reflection because it "can't be my fault; i did everything the same." Sometimes it is a defective product, but more times than not a problem with a potted plant is our own doing.
