Anyone have any history with vibrating HPS lamps? Mine keeps making a buzzing/rattling noise. I’m thinking it’s the metal inside rattling on the glass so if I slightly rotate it it may stop? What do you think? Thanks!

I know it,I had it,never caused a problem because I knew it was coming from the bulb,not the ballast.No need to panic unless it is from ballast.Changing the angle might stop it.that's what I do

Hey @Ema26!
I've been growing under HPS almost 2 years and I've never notice anything that could be a buzzing/rattling noise.
I got some friends that are still under HPS an neither heard about that. I would recommend you to ensure that conections are well made.
Check the driver and the bulb. That could be a bigger problem later on.
Be careful! If you can do a cross-test would be the better option. (cross-test: try the bulb on other driver or the driver with another bulb).

Honestly your better to look online for info about your HPS lamp then ask us folks here. You'll get some folks who are "no problem" others who will be like "very bad". So you'd be better to try and figure it out online. You know your Ballast... And your bulb soo it's really kind of better for you to get that info you need.

How many plants in a 70x70x160cm tent with 100W?Hello, I have a grow tent kit 2x2 with a 100W 301H EVO Spider Farmer light. I have put there three 11L pots. Hight ProblemsI’ve got 3 plants in my tent, but they’re all different heights. To compensate, I’ve hung my light at an angle, so one end is closer to the smaller plants.
My question is: Does this help, or am I better off keeping the light level? Any tips for dealing with uneven plant heights?
