Hey 👋 There are various reasons why flowers are purpling. As you mentioned, climate can be a reason… but mostly it’s dependent on the genetics. I can only recommend to grow the DiabloRojo XL from SweetSeeds ! You get very resinous buds, 85% chance of purple/dark flowers and hybrid plant of Sativa/indica… some kind of all purpose weed.

Temperature can cause some reds and purples in leaves, but if a plant has the genetics, they show exotic colors on their own and in the buds, potentially. If they advertise it as purple, it may only be a small percentage of phenos that display it. Some breeders give more accurate info than others.

If it's around 15 degrees Celsius or lower outside at night the buds will be a deep purple, although in my box with the lamp off the temperature was around 20 degrees the buds were purple, so it all depends on what seeds you get, but just in case the temperature at night should still be around 15 degrees. But even with high temperatures the buds can be purple, so it all depends on how lucky you are with the seeds. On my opinion best purple strains is Purple Lemonade by Fast Buds.Lemon Cherry Cookies ,Blackberry auto.

Hey Growmie, Yes, you can grow purple cannabis strains in a hot climate, especially indoors where you control the environment. While cooler nights can enhance purple coloring, genetics are the main factor. Many autoflower strains are bred to turn purple regardless of temperature. Great options include Purple Punch Auto, Blackberry Auto, and Purple Lemonade Auto from FastBuds, as well as Dark Devil Auto or Red Poison Auto from Sweet Seeds. These strains are colorful, potent, and finish quickly—perfect for warm indoor grows. To boost success, keep temps around 75–85°F (24–29°C), use LED lights to reduce heat, and maintain good airflow. If possible, lower night temps slightly to bring out more color. LST training also helps improve yields in small spaces. I've personally grown Purple Punch Auto, Dark Devil Auto, and Red Poison Auto indoors; if you'd like to check out those diaries, you can.

You’ve got to check out Purple Lemonade Auto by Fast Buds — it’s honestly one of the most beautiful and flavorful autoflowers out there. This strain is a mix of citrusy California genetics and Fast Buds’ top-tier autoflowering lines, and you can totally see it in the results. The buds are deep purple with bright orange hairs and a frosty layer of pinkish trichomes — super eye-catching, especially during late flowering. But it’s not just looks — the smell is incredible, like fresh lemons with a sweet and slightly tangy twist. When you smoke it, it’s smooth and fruity, like sipping on actual lemonade with a tropical kick. As for the effects, it starts off really uplifting and happy, perfect for a social vibe or just boosting your mood. Then it eases into a nice, chilled body high — relaxing but not too heavy. Great for both daytime and evening use. It’s also super easy to grow, even if you’re just starting out. It stays a manageable size (around 70 to 130 cm), and you can get up to 550 g/m² indoors. Plus, it flowers fast — usually done in about 9 to 10 weeks from seed to harvest. Oh, and the THC content is no joke — around 22% to 25%, so it definitely hits! If you’re looking for something that’s gorgeous, tasty, and delivers a perfect all-around high, Purple Lemonade Auto is an absolute winner.
