my question is not problem related, rather than curiosity based. the girl in question has in my opinion, a lot of trichomes for day 32 of flower. fyi, i started counting days of flower by the first visible pistils during 12/12 schedule. is my abundance of tri's strictly genetic?

Lighting, genetics feedings and humidity can actually play a role! You definitely are on the right track as your lady is frosty as they get! But really your flowering started the day you flipped the lights to 12/12 so you probably need to add a week back on to your flower time as the plant normally takes a week to adjust! Your gonna wanna check the trichomes everyday as they start to mature then you should start your flush to get a good harvest! Good luck 🍀👍

The amount of trichomes is not really meaning that they are maturing faster or slower, it just means that your plant is producing a lot of trichomes ; you can't expect a peak after 32 days of flowering or you can already start to sell some huge prices clones because the less I've seen for a peak was 42 days from clone for a 49 days flowering if grown from seeds strain . So it should also means that it is a perfect candidate for a keeper.
