It depends on the breeding method ! Most autoflower strain are crossed to photoperiodic to get f1 , then the f2 which are strictly autoflowering are crossed together (photoperiodic are set appart ) and the same selection is done on f3 , f4 : Breeders Using that method are usualy selling F3 or F5 so in a F3 you have more chance to find a photoperiodic plant ( 25%).
