I am looking for a cheaper and reliable alternative for Hydroguard. What can be used and how to protect the roots in non-sterile conditions? Suggestions?

Well I'm not sure how much hydroguard cost but I use Great white and it has LOTS of different beneficial bacteria and fungi (Including bacillus amyloliquefaciens that is in hydroguard). It is pretty expensive powder BUT when used correctly you have to use it only once per growth! You just need to give them food and kinda make a home for the bacteria and they will reproduce and do the magic!
Also Iäve read al ot of good stuff about mammoth P. Expensive too but only applied once or couple times per grow.

Super low runoff PH, even after corrective measures being taken. Plant otherwise okay, but probably isn't taking all her nutrients.My runoff PH has been hitting mid-5s, even after flushing (w/ & w/o additive). Been trying to raise with higher PH water, used 7.25PH water today and the runoff was still 5.56. She looks healthy other than some discoloration in some leaves, so it isn't killing her but.....????5 years ago

Add Nutrients after 2-4 days of sometimes heavy rain for an Auto. Yes or no?I just had 4 days of sometimes heavy rain, 2 days in to it I added 1/3-1/2 my 3 day nute routine. We had 2 more days of sometimes heavy rain. Im in week 8 of an outdoor potted auto grow and I have 3 days of sun coming. Should I add nutes before they dry out? Bud rot from rain?5 years ago
