hi i was wondering, can a oscilating fan start a fire in a grow tent?

I have run oscillating fans into the ground (not grow related).
The mechanism is the first to go out, then the fan motor itself.
They will bind up, but Ive never seen them catch fire. They may draw a crap load of watts, if not replaced soon after death.

As I’m sure it’s been said, any thing with an electrical current running through it has the potential to cause a fire in a tent. That being said, majority of growers incorporate them into their operation. The same risk applies for the lights, humidifiers and whatever other equipment you may use. Take the right steps to ensure safety and minimize your risk. Good growing

any electric devices can light a fire in your tent.....it s important to have a good power strip with security to reduce that risk

Example something like in the photo connected to an air duct and then to a carbon filter?

I am facing a temperature problem again....My tent reaches 84.2F, which is too hot in my opinion. But my humidity is perfect. On the other hand, if I activate the ventilation, the temperature of the tent reaches 76F, which is perfect, but the humidity level drops dramatically to 35%.

Why is my RH so high?Inline Fan: S&P TD-350/125 Silent (in use) AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 (not in use, but testet)
Filter: Can Lite Filter 300m³/h
Transformator: SCNR5 (in use on setting 4/5)
Tent: 2x4x6 ft, i get 70-80%+ RH inside
My Room is at 45-50% RH with a temp of 60-70°F. Old Air gets outside.

Tried mini dehumid. still issues with portable ac (added @ 9pm 6/2) see pic for graphAvg RH was 45%,had spikes @ 80% RH in dark, added portable ac to my tent. It raised avg. RH not lowered.
