hi i was wondering, can a oscilating fan start a fire in a grow tent?

I have run oscillating fans into the ground (not grow related). The mechanism is the first to go out, then the fan motor itself. They will bind up, but Ive never seen them catch fire. They may draw a crap load of watts, if not replaced soon after death.

As I’m sure it’s been said, any thing with an electrical current running through it has the potential to cause a fire in a tent. That being said, majority of growers incorporate them into their operation. The same risk applies for the lights, humidifiers and whatever other equipment you may use. Take the right steps to ensure safety and minimize your risk. Good growing

hi dude any electric devices can light a fire in your tent.....it s important to have a good power strip with security to reduce that risk hope this help...happy growing

High heat in greenhouse, how hot is to hot?I built a 16x20 greenhouse with dual vents and a 24” exhaust fan. I hit a max of 122 (it’s 92 outside). I typically reach 105-110 on regular days. Everyone looks happy other than an nutrient burn issue. Can weed plants handle this kinda heat?

New grower and high tent temp. please help So I have a 2by2 tent and temperature is staying around 80 degrees. I have a total of 3 fans in there and lowered the wattage on my 1000w hydro LED lights. Tent heat - needs to go down. Tent gets to 30c when closed.I want an air intake or something that can cool down an 80x80x180 tent. I don’t have the option to put anything through a window and the air in the room around the tent is pretty warm, so I don’t know if an intake will help. Any advice on what to buy for a small tent?

Best way to cool 5x5 tent Trying to find a way to cool a 5x5 tent, the ambient temp in the room is a sweltering 100 degrees. Is there some kind of AC unit that hooks directly into an inline duct that I can pump directly into the tent? Looking for an overall solution to temperature control!

Odor Problem in the last 2-3 weeks i have a problem with smell in the last 2-3 weeks... i have a 0,80mx1,50m tent with a Rhino Pro carbon filter 765m³/h inside the tent and a carbon filter 800m³/h on the exhaust. smell inside the grow room is quite subliminal but i can recognize it... what would you suggest?

Trouble keeping my RH below 65% in grow tent (I water once per 24hrs, 20% runoff)Hello fellow growers! I am having trouble keeping my RH lower than 65%. Any ideas (without using a dehumidifier)?
