Depends plants can get clogged form to many nutes in turn prevent nute uptake depends on ur feeding regimen

Passionately convinced it's stoner science we will try to provide some information on plants and how they work.. The idea of a plant burning off excess nutrients is silly. It's science that the plant absorbs nutrients through the roots and transports them throughout the plant as needed. The whole process is biochemical and isn't as simple as stop feeding nutrients and it uses up it the available nutrients. The plant transports nutrients through the plant in a circular type fashion and some nutrients are mobile while others are not. I always do a flush 10 days before harvest. Always have, always will. Taste is better, healthier, burns better.
