I think it should be "sticky" at this point; its 5th week of flowering ends on Sunday. It's a Gorilla Glue strain, however, from what I've read, Fast Buds usually shows an increase in trichomes starting in week 6, meaning it should start getting "sticky" this Monday. But i want y

Hi.It's completely normal to ask the question, especially with a strain like Gorilla Glue which is renowned for being a real resin factory. Don't worry, your plant is right where it should be for the end of the 5th week. Here is my analysis for your little ones: 1. Trichome Timing (The “Fast Buds” Effect) You read correctly: with many genetics (and particularly the "Fast" versions), weeks 6, 7 and 8 are those of the explosion. Currently your plant is focusing on bud structure. The resin (the trichomes) arrives massively just afterwards, when the flowers begin to seriously swell. This is when the “sticky” aspect will really become obvious. 2. Why isn't she super sticky yet? Physiological development: For the moment, your pistils are still very white and straight. This means that the plant is still in full production of floral “matter”. Gorilla Glue: It lives up to its name, but it only really “glues” once the buds are dense. From Monday (week 6), you should see this shiny frost appear on the small leaves around the buds (the sugar leaves). have nice day my friend

genetics.. i'd stop the foliar spray unless it is a reaction to a problem. all that does is promote mildew.. IPM once in a while is fine, but probably nothing effective that can be sprayed safely on flowers.
