Your LED may not be hot but this looks like a sign or light stress, instead. If your LED is only 8 inches away, the intensity of the lamp will cause leaves to "taco" or twist in an attempt to get away from the intensity. This is the canoe shape you see with her.
Also, an LED too close will burn off valuable humidity that is greatly needed right now. Leaves are crisping as they aren't able pull in or exhaust any moisture.
I just recommend a decent feed/watering if and when they're dry, move the LED upwards 1-2 inches a day until until symptoms halt (the sweet spot) and possibly pump a little more moisture into the air for the time being.
