From my Point of view there are Two Options. 1 option : you Break it when checking… usually the first small leaves are visible 1-2 days after Sprouting. 2 Option: pests are eating the fresh growth. Cant see any signs of pests, but still possible so Check your Spot.

The two oval leaves are just the cotyledons, so that part is normal. The seedling looks a little stretched, but I’d mainly check temperature, humidity and how fast the medium is drying out. At this stage they’re really sensitive, so try not to touch the new growth too much either. If you share temp/RH and your light setup it’ll be easier to narrow down I think. What is happening is you are killing the plants. You are breaking off the growing leaves when you "check the leaves".

Hey Buddy, my AK 47 had that too, check mine out, she's still a monster. If you have time, just give her some more time, but it will take a while, but she will form a bud.

Those two oval leaves are just the cotyledons — the first true serrated leaves should emerge from the tiny growth point between them. If this keeps happening across multiple seedlings, I’d suspect the environment/root zone more than genetics. The “crackly/brittle while still green” part makes me think too dry/hot, too much light, or roots struggling from either staying too wet or drying too hard. I’d keep seedlings around 24–26°C, 65–75% RH and gentle light (~100–200 PPFD), with the medium just lightly moist rather than soaked. Avoid strong feeding this early. Also, don’t keep touching/checking the leaves — cotyledons are delicate. If the center growth point stays green, give it a few more days. If the stem gets thin/dark at soil level or the center dies completely, then I’d suspect damping-off or damage to the apical meristem.

Rubbish genetics. Do NOT feed them anything when using soil until they have 4-6 nodes..............especially no "root juice" on babies!

Since nobody mentioned it, I will. It could be ants, or some other bug eating. Maybe a bacteria or tiny snails ?

This should be a rare thing... if you keep seeing it, the soil may be too hot and burning it off. Maybe, use paper towel method? plant with leaves above ground to start.... Maybe try to dilute the soil before use, if you think its too hot? Simply run water through it for a while an let it drip dry a bit before use so it's not over-saturated. if perlite floats to top, give it a stir and tamp back down gently -- which will also knock out excess water as you do it. if it's the same batch of seeds, might just be some bunk seeds...

That looks more like a cucumber seedling than a cannabis seedling right now. I saw you having problems before and you had mentioned touching it. I just figured it was just a little bit all being a baby if you didn't touch it again I don't know bad seeds? Or there's some sort of infection going on that I have no credentials to talk about It doesn't look like that, so Leo was particularly pathogenic. I saw that you did paper towel method, which seems to be pretty tried, and true I don't like doing that so much I'm more of a soak for a few hours to direct sow person. Maybe it's getting damaged transferring from the paper towel to the soil
