Help with sex of plants. Regular seeds, not fem.I’m concerned on the sex of a couple of plants I have. I diagnosed a couple as male last week and removed them, about 4-5 weeks old. This week I am noticing growth in the others and am concerned so looking for experienced input. 1&2 appear to be female to me with calyx open? 3 M?

Recommendations on a good quality PH pen? Price doesn’t matter, but looking to stick with a quality pen that is accurate.What’s a good quality PH pen for quick readings on my water before feedings? I’ve heard good things about the Bluelabs pen, something of good quality, not that garbage on amazon that is lucky if it even arrives working properly. Small scale so not interested in industrial equip.

Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etc Is there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Dont get me wrong, I love Fox Farm’s, and 38/bag isnt terrible. I’m just curious if anyone has found a more mainstream soil that’s as good of soil. I also think their quality has been worse lately

Starting to lean towards bad genetics? Ganja Farmer Bubble OG Gum, the fastbuds stardawg right beside it looks great, same tent, light, water, conditions Safe to say it’s time to whack this bubble og gum from ganja farmer?😂😂 ignore the fastbuds tag this is not one of their plants. This thing is looking weirder by the day while the fastbuds stardawg beside it in the same tent looks amazing. I’m willing to give it some more time.

Small/compact plants, light intensity? Genetics? FC-E 3000 50% 24” lamp to plant, 2 weeks old, fastbuds and ganja farmer seeds Since upgrading to my FC-E 3000 I’ve noticed that my plants seem to be more stumpy/compact. I’m just curious if I have my light intensity turned up to high causing them to be short with little space between nodes the way a weak light causes your plant to stretch?

Couple aphids in tents with plants in late flower? Problems? Treatments?What damage will aphids cause in a grow contained indoors in a tent? Only saw 2-3 but know they will multiply, shook all the plants to make sure they weren’t infested but didn’t see any others start flying. What treatment options do I have? How early do you normally start feeding? Currently growing only autos. Have had great results with my grows so far, but always room for inprovement.I typically wait 4-6 weeks before I start adding any sort of nutrients as I used Fox Farms Happy Frog for my grows. How early do you start feeding? I have Micro, Grow, Bloom, Calnesium, Carbo Blast and all three of the bloom nutes which are irrelevant to my question

How long should it take for germinated seeds to break the surface?I’ve never had issues germinating/sprouting seedlings up until this point, These plants all had very nice tap roots and were planted roughly 1/4”-1/2” below the surface. Until this grow ive never had one seed not take.

Anyone affiliated with Mars Hydro? Very disappointed with customer service My TS 1000’s controller/driver crapped the bed. Contacted customer support, told them the issue, they diagnosed based on videos i send, and was told they were sending replacement parts. 2 weeks later, no email confirmation and no reply to my previous 2 emails sent a week apart.

Plant in late flower accidentally left on 24hr on light cycle after swapping light because if malfunction. Thoughts?Photo fem plant was accidentally left on 24hrs a day for roughly 1-2 weeks mid flower when swapping lights, switch got flicked on timer. Plant doesn’t seem to show signs of herm, but is definitely concerning. Was curious why it wasn’t bulking up. What damage could this cause?

Willing doming this stunted plant help it recover from its early trauma? I have attached photos of progress from the past 2 weeks This journal has become an experiment in the resilience of this plant. When it was 2 days old I water and washed the germinated seed out of the peat pod, and have been trying to allow it to recover at its own pace which it has been, but is very stunted and behind it sisters.

Should I dim my TS1000? Ts1000 When using two lights in a small space should I be worried about to much light? The plant is mature and is about to transition to flower, I’m just curious what is too much if any. The TS 1000 is dimmable the sf1000d is not. Lights are 18” at the moment

Power will be out for 24 hrs.Due to a storm in our region I’ve been informed my power will be out until likely tomorrow some time, i currently have one plant in week 8 of veg (photo fem), and 3 seedlings (autos) that will be in the dark for ~24hrs, anyone have experience with this, in sure they will be ok

Suicidal germinated seed, will it survive?My blackberry auto attempted suicide today when I went to water, washed out of the peat pod when I moistened the soil this morning. I dug a new hole and planted it a little deeper. Any chance this thing will survive? Was fully intact, not broken.
