Double Grape

Small yielding plants. I’m going to line the walls and ceiling with hydro grade reflective Mylar to help with future yields. As well as better genetics.

Seed did not Pop :( Maybe it was too cold maybe it was too moist, in any case very sad.

Man sad to see this lady go early but once I gave Overdrive it was very effective. Chopped and trimmed very happy with the results! Mephisto is definitely a new favorite. This is the first strain I grew from them.

I can’t say how impressed I am with this strain. Probably the strongest, stickiest auto I’ve grown to date. I will be running this again in a larger format. The buds have a poor leaf ratio but it’s worth it. In the Cannatrol now curing up nice

For 5 really sticky plants the dry weight ended up being 10.2 oz That's around 2 oz per plant. I'm not sure if that's good or bad for autos. I did smoke some of it. Definitely harsh as it needs to cure but a very nice high. A Creative thinking high. Reminds me of the high I got from blue dream. I'll give it a few weeks to cure before going at it again. I don't recall any problems during this grow which is nice because it was my first grow using coco. I wanted to get this grow out of the way so I can have some stock piled while I get after the next batch. I'll start them in a couple of weeks after I clean out my tent and get some more supplies.

Great plant for beginners, one of my favorite strains. I will definitely be using Mephisto Genetics again!

Very vigorous plant, at first the leaves were gigantic but smaller and finer with time. Pretty purple color. I completely cut the fertilizer in the last two weeks of flowering, the smell is completely crazy. Thank you Mephisto for this beautiful genetics more than easy and satisfying. I recommend it to all. I had 100% of the seeds that sprouted and a very fast crossing. The plant is small 24 inch, next time I will put up more my lamp so that it stretches a little more. Maybe I’ll have more yield

Growing this Double Grape by Mephisto was exceptionally easy. No major deficiencies or toxicities throughout the grow. I think yield and density of buds would be greater with a stronger light. Happy with the bud structure and bag appeal after a rough trim and manicure. Interested to see this grown in outdoor. I will be making cannabutter with the trim shortly.

My favourite to grow was Double Grape. What an absolute beast from start to finish 💪 smells absolutely amazing with giant frosty buds. Towards the end she needed support to hold up her massive nugs and also looked amazing with a nice purple fade 😁 I'll definitely be running this again next crop

Of the 4 strains and 7 plants I've grown, this is by far the easiest to grow. Issues that hurt other plants didn't even effect the DG. Has a pretty deep purple color with lighter green fan leaves and is frosty. Can't give a smoke report on taste/smell because I'm putting it to cure now, but the bit I sampled is way more potent than the WWs I grew from my previous diary.

One of the prettiest strains I've grown. Despite wasting three seeds with only one germinating, this one exceeded my expectations. It has a good yield, is frosty, and smells great. I can't wait for it to cure so I can taste it at its full potential. Will be growing Pinot Noir next cycle, which has Double grape as a parent.

This plant also went through the Living Soil nightmare. She took a beating but still produced some beautiful buds! Almost every leaf was covered in frost. 23 grams of trim along with the frosty buds.

Beautiful plant to grow. I kicked the plant over, gave up on her for a week with no light, airflow or humidity, and changed her environment multiple times from grow tent to grow room with varying lights. Nanners were identified and an early harvest as result. In future If I get nanners I think I'll keep growing regardless. Jarred on 6th May.

Harvested on day 80. Overall DG was a great first grow. She showed early yellowing of leaf tips which didn’t get out of hand so I think it was just genetics. She hit her real stride around week 6-7 and it was all good from there. She did go about a 2 weeks longer than the 65-70 day breeder cycle time.

I could have let 3 of the 4 plants go for another week but one was ready so I had chopped. Live and learn. Dried for 9 days at 62 degrees, 56-60 Rh. I got 8.1 oz total from all 4 autos. Only stake plant had fatty nugs but I know many places where I can improve upon. Next grow. Especially not letting them sprout in the paper towel, and not being on the cusp of the low limit light. One plant was 1.5 oz, two plants were 2 oz each on the dot, and one plant was 2.6 oz. Overall I'm happy, I was expecting 1 oz from each for my first grow. I greatly underestimated trimming, even with my brother some plants took up to like 2-3 hrs. Planning on doing two double grape and two sour stomper next time and labeling.

I forgot about this diary. 3 plants total, total dry weight for the entire run was roughly 556g. All mephisto: [Double grape] Harvest was smooth, dry and cure was also smooth. Smells like somewhere between fresh grapes and apple peels. Very strong. [Double grape x toof decay] When vaped, tastes/smells like lemon pound cake. similarly strong to double grape. great structure, great nose. same resilience as double grape. [Strawberry Slushie] I fucked this one up pretty badly. I didn't listen when i was told that the plant was very nitrogen sensitive and fed it normally. This led to a very slow start, and a very slow transition to flower. Because of this, and because of available space for drying, it was chopped early.

WILLLLL UPDATE WITH SMOKE REPORT AFTER CURE PROCESS IS DONE, AS OF TODAY 12/19/2023 9:08AM SHE HAS BEEN SITTING IN TOTAL DARKNESS SINCE 12/16/2023 8:55PM KEEPING THE TEMP AT 68*F AND HUMIDITY AT AROUND 58%, SHE SMELLS AMAZING AND I CANT WAIT TO HAVE A SESSION WITH HER, ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVE SAID YOO!!! THAT LOOKS SUPER FROSTY!!! Overall everything went pretty well throughout the grow. Definitely made some rookie mistakes and errors but made notes of them to correct for the next grow. As of 08/12/2023 the buds have been drying for 5 days now, stems are still bendable. After buds are done drying I'm going to dry trim them and put them in Grove Bags to cure. Ended up with: Plant 1 - 42 grams of bud Plant 2 - 50 grams of bud Shake - 60 grams Total - 152 grams

Harvested day 101. Well this strain ended up surprising me. Was not loving her at all when she was growing. Buds were small and the plant developed a little funny. But the end product was very frosty and smoked very well.

The process was as enjoyable as it could be. One of the most beautifual and nice smalling flower i ever got to grow. The smoke is good but kinda easy to me, it's good for daily sessions when you need to work or stay in focus , also i think it's good for parties when you want to get high without much of stone.
