This week was mainly about making sure there are no leaks in the RDWC system. I germinated the seeds straight in to the easy plugs and placed them in the the net pots surrounded by clay pebbles. The Fastbuds genetics did the rest and came through with a 100% germination rate. I will leave them running on clean water for the next couple of days. I will be making sure to monitor ph balances closely. In regards to oxygen for the roots I constructed a waterfall system with added air stones from my air pumps to cater for healthy root development and sufficient oxygen. Even though I have a lot of light in there, I have them all dimmed down to their lowest percentage.

Mexican Airlines is starting to fatten up nicely. I'm still quite impressed by the amount of great looking bud sites. Also, the dominant cola seems to be coming from what would have been the lowest branch if she was not bent over. Very interesting, to me at least. Feeding her with Recharge and Big Bloom, she seems to like it. 👍

Day 57 and looking forward to harvesting. Hoping to dry slowly. Gotta chop with others all at same time, so just waiting on this girl to wrap up. What do you think - she about ready for harvesting? Welcome to week 6 of flower for this lovely project! Last week was exciting this week should be even more exciting! With the ladies beginning to put on serious weight it's only a matter of time before I'll have to install a second net to help support the branches. With this being about the halfway point I'm excited to see them at the finish line! Huge shout outs to @MarsHydroLED for making epic lights and tents for people to grow in! Keep inspiring to grow! -The Projexx Day#36F Creamy Cereal is PUMPING frost now with its undeniable smell of fruit loops and milk. Day#37F Ladies are putting on mass and quickly! Day#38F Macmelonz continues to stretch and stack but looks like its nearing the end for her stretch phase. Hopefully she pumps HUGE kickass flowers for me. Day#39F Flowers are almost the size of a soda can now. The trichomes on these plants are wild like trichomes over trichomes. The flowers have really picked up on the aroma department as well very please with the plants. Day#40F Raised the light abit, Flowers are starting to display colour in them now can't wait to see them in a few weeks! Day#41F Pictures N/A. Ladies are still beefing up flowers some of the pistols are starting to turn. Day#42F Ladies are still putting on mass daily. Lots of lovely unique smells coming from the plants. Recap: Things went well this week , the ladies really put on some mass and all the flowers are hard as rocks! I will be taking away leaves over the course of the coming weeks to ensure the airflow to the flowers. Excited to see what the coming weeks bring!

Harvest time, the flowers seem ready. The seeds were given as gifts and this was my first scrog. Given the high summer temperatures I thought I wouldn't even finish, I'm satisfied in the end. a couple of weeks to dry everything and then the fun begins.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... We are almost at the magic moment, it is about to go into flowering and the vegetative phase is practically over in a few days. Our Purple Urkle by Zamensia is a very beautiful plant with a good internodal distance and is developing very very well. We have just done the last topping that brings her 16 tops, 16 small clones of the main cola that will come up I hope at the same time and all together and above all I hope that the cold will give us a great resin and a beautiful coloration. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The cuts of the topping slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit into over, it happened to her then you detach and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. Of the four plants Barney's LSD Auto is the most vivacious, with the Strawberry Cheesecake and Onyx only a week or so behind. The Northern Lights Auto is very disappointing with absolutely no branching...and some discolouration in the leaves. If she doesn't show some branching after topping, I'm going to pull her and grow a different plant. Real estate in my grow room is in high demand and I won't waste it on a dud plant :D
