As we enter week five we notice some of the plants pre flowering. But not all so I decide to stick with veg nutrients until all are showing pre flowers. Half way through the week and the rest of the plants are showing pre flowers. Just in time as the plants that had pre flowered earlier on in the week are showing slight Newt burn on the tips suggesting It is time to change to bloom newts which holds less nitrogen. The magnified picture are of the pre flowers forming ( two little fuzzy hairs). Interesting fact: it takes thousands of those little fuzzy hairs to form just one bud.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! hello guys, I stopped putting fertilizer and is my wash week. 21cm from the ground to the gate and from the earth to the highest head i have 42cm. i think I harvest tomorrow 😀👍 I have a good part of the pistils that are changed color so but I still have a lot of white it's hard to estimate what ratio I am. 😒 I think I am at 60-70% who have changed color. 👈 I think I can harvest tomorrow it will be good but the disadvantage is that if I'm still waiting it can certainly still get bigger I think but I can not wait anymore.

So the objective here is to get to harvest as quickly as possibly - Basically got a cheap humidifier and filled it with ph'd water with very little nutrient. Running this as a Fogponics once the roots starts coming out the net pot and then move to standard dwc with air pump during veg and flower. Let see if this speeds things up

Start of a new grow, week 1, day 1 of flowering. These plants have been in veg since July. I did some major defoliation, LST and topping yesterday before putting them into flowering.

Started the week with 3 sprouted the 2 others basically never started. Added two circulating fans. Just added 500ml water every 3 days or so. Added 750 mil now.. all 3 patients are doing greAt. Tent is dialed in really good. the leaves curling a little bit on Plant 1. Going to do some research on why. So Doing some reading it said the curling could be caused by overwatering. Which could be true. Patient #1 is looking healthy even with the light curve on the leaves. I read about toping. My thoughts are i have a large enough tent so i am just going to LST in the coming weeks. My tent is a 4x8 and i did not fill the tent. I am regretting now getting the most out of tent this grow. Any thoughts?

D71 - SEP 22: Looking and smelling great. Haven´t seen much growth since the last 5 days or so, but it fattend up really well and it´s really dense, insanely dense. Thricomes developing, soon to be harvested :) D72: Now it´s time to mature, I don´t see any significant growth, only thricomes developing. No watering, it still has a lot. Humidity is really high these last 2 days, being around 50 - 70% rH. D73: No watering yet. No signs of any more thrips, thankfully. Seems to have fattened a little. D74: Maturing well, thricomes getting mostly cloudy and amber. No watering, tomorrow probably. D75-D77: Been a little off of GD for these past days. The tent is looking good in general, no thrips anymore, temps and rH are good. Watered with nutrients on day 76. Thricomes are really close to harvest and I´m really impacient but I´m trying to wait for it to get more amber 😄

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Hemos probado ésta genética de fast buds en cultivo ecológico de guerrilla y la verdad que nos ha sorprendido gratamente. Facil de cultivar y con poca atención hemos obtenido grandes resultados. Por lo que a plagas respecta ésta niña ha crecido fuerte y sana durante todo el cultivo. Resistente a clima húmedo y costero pero si llueve demasiado hay que estar atentos a principios de brotitis cuando las flores ya están formadas. Muy buen aroma y sabor, a tropical y dulce y un efecto de felicidad y motivación muy placenteros. Totalmente recomendable.

10/5/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Girls got a top feed of 7.3 pH, and runoffs are strong 6.4. PPMs are a little lower last dunk on the GC, so we are going to bump up her feed a little, and reduce the feed on the Purple Punch.
