12/26-12/28/20: So I have no idea what to expect. I just hope moving the light farther away was a good idea! I've had to turn the fan on a couple of times to bring the 82F temp down and now it's creeping back down. 12/29/20: Still no growth and I can't maintain the humidity above 45%. I placed a piece of saran wrap over the pot to help it retain some water. I also moved the 1000w lamp a little farther away and I have the fan running. I also need to figure out the exhaust set up. Too daunting. 12/30/20: The cherry finally popped and I can see ole girl starting to break the surface. Adding the saran wrap helped with the moisture and this morning was the result. The temp still seems a be high (81F) and the humidity still isn't maintaining (~51%). I watered the seedling a bit and spray twice a day. It's currently back under the wrap. 1/2/21: Ole girl Salisi is growing slowly, but strong. I added a humidifier from Target to maintain the humidity between 40-60%. Temperature still lingers around 82F, but I think that's ok:🤷:. 1/4/21: Salasi is growing with purpose now! Two more days until she graduated to the big pot. I moved her inside of a nursery with vents open and gave her a full watering. RT: 82F, RH 62%. 1/9: Salasi's looking ok but I'm concerned about stem length. I just sprayed inside the nursery and a couple spritzes to the top soil. I'm concerned about thinning?

Fractal was harvested on Sept 12. Due to extended period of high temperatures and humidity with more rain expected every day following another hurricane. The other gals were showing disease. That was the determining factor to chop all outside girls down. Fractal hung in the dark for 2 days. Because her grow family experienced bud rot and wilt, she was examined carefully for any disease. She was disease free. Fractal had a long vegetative phase. Probably too long since I started my outside grow in April so they would be hardened off before I went on vacay in May. Three months of veg caused massive vegetative growth. The various breeder notes on photo period seeds indicate late September or October harvest. So that was in the back of my mind during this grow. 👉 Note for next year start seeds later in spring. 👉 Plan start date based on counting back from the vernal equinox. 👉 Based on such a long growing season, Autos may be preferable to finish quickly and not have extended vegetation phase before flower. Wie erwartet konnte ich nach meinem Urlaub am Ende der 9ten Woche die LCC ernten. Den besten Erntezeitpunkt habe ich durch den Urlaub leider verpasst aber da ich die beruhigende Wirkung bevorzuge ist dies nicht so schlimm für mich. Nass wog die kleine 128g und sie trocknet grade im Zelt vor sich hin. Ich peile ca. 10 Tage Trocknungszeit an. Trockengewicht, Bilder der Blüten und Rauchbericht folgen noch.

Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

This week went real great , one has been getting flushed and the rest we will start flush Tomorrow! These ladies are doin so amazing! Hope you all enjoy !! Stay tuned for next week! Cheers an happy holidays!

Pd: Se ve en una foto atrás el techo cono de alromb4a de auto qué uso para cubrir en la noche la planta simple pero más el aislante en la maceta se cubren bastante.

Becoming a challenge to keep these branches trained. Looking for some more stretch before she reaches the beginning of her flower weeks. I will be performing a flush next week. So far it’s going well.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible.
