Start of week six we start seeing rapid growth from all plants in height and bud production. 1 of the ladies is an absolute freak but in all the good ways. Shes reaching a meter in length and is going to have 5 slender long kolers. The rest are all around the 80cm mark minus the two under achievers which are at the 70 cm mark which is amazing as the plants are supposed to be the size at harvest. Not changed much apart from excluding the voodoo juice nutrients ,adding another 600w light to the tent and a tiny bit of defoliation. My flat is starting to smell amazing. Sometimes I bury my nose in the outlet pipe and inhale a deep breath. Haaaah

This week they stopped the stretch and started focusing on the buds, all lower part is removed

at this week u can compare the stems and bush in the videos, keep in mind this is my first hydro grow and i messed the PPM and PH a few times.. also snapped a whole branch of the hydro plant around week 4. still the hydro plant looks bigger and fatter stem. lol

Flower Week 6 – Ripening Phase Begins The girls are now in week 6 of flowering, and the ripening phase has officially begun! The buds are slightly smaller but completely coated in trichomes. She’s developing that creamy-sweet scent typical of the strain, filling the tent with a dessert-like smell. Both plants still look perfectly healthy — the feeding routine and semi-hydro setup are keeping everything stable. Light intensity and airflow remain ideal, ensuring no mold or stress signs during this dense phase. 5/4/21. Day 64. WR is beefing up. Drinking about 12 ounces a day, water only. I'm still seeing some clear trichomes. Not much amber. I'm thinking she'll be done in less than a week. Still hoping she lightens up a bit. I want her to burn up whatever nutes are left before the cut. We shall see, patience is a virtue! GC is a beast! Still uptaking a half gallon of water daily. I cut back just a bit yesterday and she let me know by pouting (droopy) this morning. I top fed her about 1.5 quarts and bottom fed a half quart or so. Then gave her a few ounces of Reharge water. I use a hand pump sprayer and water a bit at a time to prevent roll off. Thiink of light rain on dry soil. She looks happy and lush now. She'll get full bloom nutes tomorrow plus some top dressing, her roots are growing up and out of the surface of the soil 😳. Details on the the top dress will be noted in my next update. These two girls were planted on the same day. 5/6 Day 66. GC came out to play today😳 Stll shots just dont do her justice. She's still drinking heavily. Half gallon of 5 part bloom + Cal-mag yesterday morning, this morning dry. I'm gonna botom feed her at night, just a pint or so. I feel bad when she pouts 😟 She's 22 inches at the peak and 22 inches round. Next time I woud choose 5 gallon bags, 2 per this size tent. I LSTed a bit with pipe cleaners to even up spacing. The I gave her another pruning. So much leaf! @Hawkbo on his GC grow for for showing me the way! She also got a top dressing of 1/2 quart of Happy Frog with worn casings, dolomite lime and bone meal. She just eating all these nutes up! The tops are building girth now. Very firm! No oder yet. WR is ready! I'm drooling, no really. She'll get a nice video too 😉 Might do a selective harvest. They dont always finish evenly. To be continued. 5/9 Day 69. WR went dark. I'll chop her on day 70, 10 weeks. Trichs are mainly milky. Big and bold! Looking into a scope that connects to the tablet so I can get some shots of these these divine pearls 👊😌 Sorry to report I cant upload the the video I made, corrupted file or some nonsence 😒 GC is chugging along building buds! She's a jungle of bud and leaf. I continue to work the canopy relieving her umbrella leaf and of the scub from underneath. Who wants all that fluff anyway? Still drinking almost a half gallon a day. I'm gonna keep the bloom nutes on the hot side unless she says stop.

What a hot week perfect for drumming buds in the house with ac on blast. So happy to be done harvesting.

Well it's safe to say the foop will work with legit strong good bacteria! But the focus has to be on the root health when it comes to how much food you can add and still maintain healthy roots. But the game changer for me has been switching to a air stone, 1st and for most. The recirculation pump suggested by foop when running foop in dwc ran the solution temps into the high 70's around 77°F and anything over 75°F has been where root rot sets in for me. Even switched to way smaller recirculation pump with same results. So switching to running a air stone was big! But also found that running one Vivosun 317GPH Air Pump 15W split to 4 plants was not enough air for the roots to be happy in the foop plants. So I moved to a 2nd air pump, same size per tent. So now it's only split to 2 plants on the foop plants. And that made a big difference! But found after a few weeks that I had to bleed a slight amount of air off because there soo much extra air the humidity was sky rocketing in the tent to high 80%. So there's a sweet spot where they get extra air but not soo much that the humidity is affected. But the 2nd most beneficial thing I've done is start running Orca. It has made such a huge difference. I think I need to go up with how much I'm using or find something that works even better if possible. But the sweet spot now is 8 to 9ml total of each foop veg/bloom 1,2 and sweener. When I go to 12ml with foop 1,2 the roots take a noticeable hit. So idk how I would go to the recommended 20 to 50ml per gallon as suggested on the foop grow chart. Currently running around 6 to 10ml orca total per feeding. And adding 2 to 4ml when I add foop 1,2 mid week amd got happy roots! Also the Seaweed extract has made a difference in the smell the plant puts off. Last few grows have been really muted with smells and this grow I actually get hit in the face when entering grow room. So has made a difference forsure!! I'm soo excited!! I had skipped a feeding because I had been feeding a few tines mid week. And that's when all the yellow edges showed up I've been trying to get her back on track feeding mid week 4 to 6ml foop 1,2 and has made a difference forsure! I also added a Exhale C02 bag. So hoping that kicks her in high gear, but she already seems to be doing better! I also need to get back to trying to master the art of getting the ph to stabilize and not climb every 24hrs. Así que justo hoy comenzamos a contabilizar las semanas para ver de cuantas semanas son de floración. Hoy hice una desfoliación. El riego intercalado entre los dos bases que uso, foliar 3 veces por día de cannaboost, hoy inoculando trichodermas, y mañana el riego con el mismo ec que he venido regando, ya que desfoliamos, y esa subida de EC que siempre aconsejan las tablas de cultivo, no será necesaria, ya que la energía producida se distribuirá entre menos hojas, y lo restante se va al desarrollo de las flores. Solo usaré el feeding grow dos veces mas, una mañana y otra para la siguiente desfolación. I'm leaning more toward killing 1 or 2 plants, rather than risk all of them getting overly stressed from too many defoliations. I completely underestimated how much these Cannabis plants would grow, especially once they started to stretch. I'm going to start saving the water that is collected through the dehumidifier. This girl has been topped twice. She has responded really well. The plants look like they could take a feed so I'm going to start introducing nutrients again and a quarter the recommended dose and raise this gradually before flipping them all to flower in a weeks time.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already.
