We are down to the final week! Just 2 more watering days and then I'll be ready to cut them down, trim, and hang this weekend. It had been a long 21 weeks and I am not prepared for my next grow. Usually I like to run perpetually with my 2x4 tent, I should have had another set of 6 starting when I flipped these ladies into flower. That way when these finish I could have had another set ready to go in. But things came up and I am behind schedule and running out of nutrients. Honestly that is okay though because I am planning my whole year out. I'll buy the few items that I need such as PH Down, some ph pen calibrating powder, grab some more Flora micro and bloom, stock up on fabric pots, coco coir, and perlite. I'm even thinking of getting some new strains! Stay tuned for next week's harvest!

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Here we are again, after hot summer ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic and now we present them to you. The first lady we present to you is the Blue Cheese F1 Auto, I asked the Zamnesia elves to send me these seeds because I loved this strain so much in the past. I remember well when it came out on a trip to Amsterdam we went crazy. And I remember well when a dear friend of mine used it with phenomenal results. This strain has a background in me. Great fruity flavors very intense I remember. Let's see what comes out. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of right advisors, I chose to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. Preparation Phase Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). Phase 1 - Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the soil 90% normally. Phase 2 - Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper in water, no. Phase 3 - In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose those with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. Phase 4 - The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. This genetics requires a lot of heavy feeding and heavy light and a lot of space because they gonna grow like beasts. In about 79 days from seed they were ready . One of the plants had small buds but full of trichomes, rich in terpenes with a nice smooth Latte creamy smell, the other had fluffier buds with more hazey smell

The ladies bud growth is starting to take off! Got Some nute burn but honestly they’ve still been growing just fine. Candyland is undoubtedly the mother of all three! She is budding so beautifully! Buds tightened up waiting on small wave of amber tricks 10 to 15% amber is guchie for me

Week 12 kicking off and she is getting chunky still, will be another couple weeks before she is done. Definitely the higher yielding one of the two. Coming up on the end of the 12th week and she is producing new bud sites still. I had to cut off a 6 inch side branch that grew in and started preflowering but was a small branch and would not have time to finish. Not sure what brought on the flower bursts, but she is chunky! And she smells like fruity pebbles so that is awesome!

Mamba Negra was a very frosty, and smelly autoflower. Has been chopped, and hung to dry. Looks very promising to be some great smoke. We shall see. No contest winner, but got some good smoke out of it. PEV said they wanted to send me some more seeds to grow. We will see if they get back to me. After this beautiful plant, and Moby Dick auto is going monster size, check it out 🌱😁. Today will mark 3rd week on Sunday 6/18/23 🌱. Double the size they all about 6 inches now. Looking pretty healthy. Starting to intake more waters. Each weeks I up the PPM to 1200 within Lotus nutrients sitting at 6.3 PH.

Day 56 : Well 8 full weeks si ce I flipped the lights and this lady looks so ripe now . Her pistils are mostly orange now throughout the plant. I did get a little second burst of pistils befor e the rest browned off and it swelled them very nicely . Her smell is a fruity sweet but there is also another undertone there I just cant grab at. Will hopefully come out in cure a bit more to nail it. She is nice and sticky now too and has some nice clumps of buds to that are solid to squeeze . I plan to loupe her soon to check her trichromes for cloudiness. She has t skipped a beat the whole grow and will be getting another run out soon. Hopefully next update will be harvesting pics !!!. Be safe growmies UPDATE DAY 61:She is done and out . Yay. I had planned and expected an 11 week flowering due to the genetic mix but she had other ideas. She has been a pleasure to try out and grow and will certainly be popping more of the Fruity Gorillas in the near future. She smells very "fresh fruit stall" at the moment and I am looking forward to how she cures up. I will update as soon as she is harvested from the dried stems. I am hoping for a 1p day slower dry but temps here are crazy at the moment and I cant find a cooler space to dry than my grow room yet. Some new pics of her taken out and trimmed. Fast week and a lot in my life so little update for this week , sorry guys, they are growing as champions and by the end of week 5 they started preflowring, this append around day 34,35 from seed. The flowering continues, only on one branch I went wrong I think the bud will not grow .. The girls are suffering from N deficiency (?) Or from continuous changes of Ph (?)
