Another day another week and coming along nicely only difference this week is I have started pumping some overdrive through them now seems as it’s week 6 flower. 2 weeks on that then hopefully ready for a flush with pure water and a few days dark then harvest time. I’ve got a feeling the papaya is going to be ready before the cookies waiting for.my microscope for my phone to come then will update with some pictures of the trichomes.

Week 16 is starting off nice and strong. Lady is starting to look super frosty, and more hairs are starting to turn orange. Bumped the nutrients back up and will continue feeding accordingly. Starting to put off some nice cakey odors now.

During week 7 the 3 plants continue to grow outstandingly well! The BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDDS have a healthy green color and grow so much foliage that I have to defoliate on a regular basis. On day 43 (=flowering day 19) I take off all bigger fan leaves in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. The humidity is unfortunately still on the high side and sometimes exceeds 80% in the daily maximum, that is MUCH too high during flowering. I increased the dose of BIO NOVA nutrients according to their feeding scheme and all plants LOVE IT! The ZHEETOS #1 plant grows much taller than her sister ZHEETOS #2, therefore I decide to SUPER-CROP her on Day 48 (=FD 23). This technique developed by SOMA from SOMA-SEEDS is one of my favorites and I use it since years in order to bush out plants, which grow to high. Appr. 15-20 cm from the top of the plant, right above an internode, I take the main stem between two fingers and press very hard until I can feel the fibres inside the stem brake. By slowly pressing all around the diameter of the stem I create a weak spot at which I bend over the stem, so it looks 90-180 degrees downward. I do this very carefully to NOT BRAKE the outer skin of the stem while I bend the stem downwards. Even if some fibres brake, the stem will repair itself within a few days to a week and then start to point upwards again...👍😃 During the time the main stem needs to repair itself, all other side-stems will grow more upwards and this makes the plant bush out more. At the same time a super-cropped plant will produce bigger buds at harvest time, than a plant where you did not do that. Somehow the plant reacts to being hurt by getting stronger and producing more! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE ME SUPER-CROP! 😎 I also took a video ONE DAY after the procedure (on DAY 49), in order to show how resilient the plant is and how much she immediately repairs herself. Already then the main top has turned and points upwards to the light again, ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE! Simply a miracle plant...

I'm happy with the progress they have made, all have responded well to defoliation and LST. I'll be adding a few more light nutrients at some point this week. The gorilla zkittles is shorter than the rest but looks very sturdy and has plenty of bud showing already, I think this is because it started flowering maybe 7days before the rest and in them 7days the rest shot up rapidly! I'll update daily and try get some nice videos with lights out.

Disculpen las fotos, es que las saque para consultar. Bueno primero que nada fue una semana de mucha tormanta, lluvias y humedad. lo peor que nos puede pasar en floracion. Segundo intente hacer supercroping ya que las ramas seguian superando el tejido y les llegaba luz en la noche. Y me salio desastrozo, mi primera vez. Pero los otros punteros que superaban la altura, los hizo mi compañero que sabia hacerlo (No tengo foto, luego actualizo). Y Tercero que debido a la humedad se ven en las fotos como aparecio hongos, por lo que pude observar era solo ese poco, lo cual ya fue removido vamos a ver como continuamos.

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! 🖐️👨‍🌾 Bienvenidos amantes de la Marihuana, comienzo una nueva temporada de cultivos, primavera/verano 24, con esta cepa que me va a llevar de viaje por el viejo reino de Siam a la búsqueda de la marihuana que pude fumar allí y antaño, tal vez en este camino cargado de recuerdos, me encuentre con otras flores... con más recuerdos. Después de unas semanas de descanso de la temporada anterior, comienzo este nuevo viaje con ganas y la esperanza de conseguir la mejor cosecha hasta el momento. Preparé concienzudamente el sustrato donde puse las semillas de las 9 cepas que voy a cultivar esta temporada, mi intención era emular la germinación espontanea que se produce en el bosque o campo, pensé en reproducir este escenario, mezclé un sustrato "cocinado" durante meses con nutrientes y minerales, añadí fibra de coco inoculada con Microorganismos de Montaña y mi Bio Coco EM que contiene minerales, hormonas, enzimas, etc. puse la semilla en superficie de ese sustrato y lo tapé con materia orgánica seca proveniente de Mulch rescatado de mi anterior temporada de cultivos, a continuación humedecí todo con agua caliente y miel, lo tapé y lo puse al calor de una manta eléctrica, a los 3 días asomó esta semilla de Thai Fantasy, dos días después otra semilla de Colombia Gold también salía del sustrato, pero 8 días después ninguna de las otras 7 semillas germinó, a la vista de una lupa, todas la semillas estaban podridas y con ácaros similares a los que se ven en el compost, el fracaso ha sido total, la ley de la selva a imperado y solo han sobrevivido las más fuertes, estas dos semillas tendrán las mejores macetas, se las han ganado. Ahora he vuelto a poner las semillas a germinar, pero esta vez sobre servilletas húmedas y calor, y prepararé un sustrato menos caliente para el momento del trasplante... adelante!
