Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. At the end of week 4 the northern lights feminised is going steady with no signs of deficiency but fading of the leaves have begun. The growth has ceased with most of her energy is being used for bud formation. Most of the internodes have been filled at her stem. As the plants aromas increase the sweat floral scent has now got a touch of spice. The super skunk feminised will be fed as required keeping a close eye on the moisture levels.

It's week five of flowering, and the plants are doing really well. The CalMag deficiency has been remedied, and bud production is slowly picking up speed. The buds are becoming frosty, and the aroma is intensifying. 💚💚💚

She's really popping off with her bud sites. Short but definitely promising. Managed to tidy up the grow tent a bit and did a bit of cable management so I could put in the dehumidifier. Hoping to reach lower RH from now on.

Veg8, siguen creciendo bien, todavía quedan 2 plantas por sacrificar, lo decidiré en el próximo riego. Veg9, ya se seleccionaron las 9 plantas, se sacrificaron las últimas 2. Veg10, riego con 0.7 EC y pH 6.0, drenaje de 1.0 EC y 6.6 pH, se tendrá que seguir bajando el pH de los siguientes riegos, las plantas han estirado un poco más, en unos 2 días se hará transplante a los maceteros definitivos. Se planea hacer LST, pero ya que los nodos están muy juntos, si no estiran mucho tendré que hacer Main Lining. Veg11, nada significativo. Veg12, riego con 0.8 EC y pH 5.5, drenaje 1.0 EC y pH 6.5, plantas listas para transplante dentro de los próximos días, se comienza a mezclar el sustrato para los maceteros definitivos. Veg13, dia de transplante, sustrato con 50% de turba y 50% de vermiculita(sílice), se agrego dolomita para subir el pH del suelo a 5.5~5.8 y además la dolomita agrega calcio y magnesio al suelo, también se agregó yeso agrícola al sustrato el cual es de liberación lenta y agrega calcio y azufre. Al momento del transplante se rocía directamente las raices con voodoo juice, tarantula y piranha, además se espolvorea great white, una ves puesta en el nuevo sustrato, se riega con 1.2 EC y 5.5 pH, de micro, grow y bloom, además b-52, etc. Veg14, nada significativo, siguen creciendo bien, en unos 2 días más haré Main Lining.

defoliating this week and going to begin cutting off the nutrients ive been giving them. Plant 2 is ahead of the others currently, with a super citrus smell coming off of it. It smells like dank oranges. It smells super clean, very excited to see the progress they make this week. They grow up so fast 😄

We're almost there, those buds look delicious and above all they have a very strong smell, a sweet and fruity smell!

These are little beasts nothing has changed much, the majority has grown 3.5-4.5 inches since last week. I cut some lower branches that weren’t preforming as they should on 2. Hopefully the flower tent will become available soon and I change make some schedule changes for them 🤙 watering the edges more

Regamos una vez con agua y otra con fertilizantes, solo cuando el sustrato se ha secado. Mantenemos las luminarias y extracción a máxima potencia.

26.07. Rainbow Sherbet 1# Day 92# Rainbow Sherbet 2# Day 90# Yesterday was the end of the thirteenth week for the plants. They are making good progress, they complain a little about this heat (rainbow has been complaining about both the heat and the cold since the beginning), but it started raining today and there will be rain and storms in the next few days, and it is expected to cool down and much more normal weather in the next 10 days. The temperature is 38 C, that's what the forecast says, the thermometer in the shade says 45, in the sun 60+ Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

So far so good, she is growing fast. 4 inches taller in only 3 days. On day 21 I defoliated plant #2 ( 3 gallon pot ) as shown in picture. Removed 4 fan leaves as they were touching other areas blocking light and air flow. It also looks only days away from flowering so have introduced bloom as well as a little cal mag to my nutrients. Voodoo juice & b52 will no longer be in my nute regime after this last feed. On day 21 i Fed 2 litres to the 5 gallon pot and 1.5 litres to the 3 gallon pot. Day 24 Trying out some LST on 1 plant as shown in picture. Pots were light again so gave a very weak nute feed and Ph'd to 6 to try bring it down a little as the run of was 7. They seem to be thriving and are thirsty.

Last 2-3 weeks of the grow period now, expecting the COP to finish up first and I’m guessing the PSS is going to push it to 10 weeks, at least I hope so, would be awesome to have a fairly nice yield from that one. It looks and smells so good just need a bit more swelling inna da buds. All looking great. However got a slight nute burn to all plants from one of the last feeds. Only very slight and it was picked up quickly. The following feed consisted of Tripple F and molasses soup, holding back all other nutes until the following feed. Problem seems to be sorted. The grow becomes a little more of a challenge day by day, the weather here is worsening meaning colder and more humid day by day, my cramped circumstances don’t help the situation either. The hum coming from my room now is also a little to loud and when everything’s running at quiet times can be Heard, when it really shouldn’t be, although I don’t have problems with that at the moment who knows who might hear it at the wrong time🙄 oh spring hurry along please.
