Coming into the home stretch here. I've been flushing for a week, going to give her one more good watering then plan on harvesting this weekend. I still don't see any amber trichomes, but I don't want the dying leaves to cause any bud rot, so amber or not she's coming down this weekend. The smell is super STRONG!!!👍 Thanks to all who answered my question on harvesting. I've been having trouble selecting an answer. I contacted GD support, hopefully they get this fixed soon.

I've rather ignored these ladies this week as a lot of other things were on my agenda - but they don't seem at all bothered by the lack of attention. In fact, they seem more than happy to just do their thing. We've had more hot days and fairly cool nights and nothing is fazing them - nothing! Their pistils are just starting to go brown but I don't foresee a rapid change here... they just keep bulking up and bulking up... whoever said that sativa buds were light and airy have never met these gals! They're out on my deck with 3 indicas and if I hadn't labeled the pots, I'd have a hard time figuring out which was which except for the smell! Kudos to the Super Sativa Seed Club!! Still a few weeks to go but I'm VERY pleased with their progress!

So I am entering week 2 of the 12/12 flip, the ladys are showing sex so hopefully later in the week I will get actual pistils so I can start counting down flower days. Day 9 seen pistils but I had to perform a major defoliation as under the canopy was bad and I didnt want powdery mildew due to leafs sweating ect. Day 10 24 hours after defoliation, you could not tell I done a thing to them, im hoping its just a odd leaf now and then thru the rest of the flowering period. Any advice is welcome guys 🙏 I will be adding more fans for airflow. Day 12 of the flip and the girls are on there way to becoming ladys lol I think there's going to be a few nice kolas in there when done, ordered the new box fan for the floor to create more airflow to reduce the risk of pm and mold. I need to top up soil as roots are showing so under the net I go again. Wish me luck.

She is growing nice, the buds are getting fat, apparently i was expecting gorilla cookies to be the winner at the size of the buds until now, apparently i was wrong, amnezia has bigger buds than gorilla at this stage :) we will see who is going to be the winner... who you think is going to win?

*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Beginning of week 7, 6 full weeks of flower done, they should be ready this or next week. Trichomes are still mostly milky with few to no ambers. Some clear also still there. Found some larf hiding but able to reach the light so they are also fattening. Really hard to estimate how much it is going to be. So as a growquestion and a bit of a pool amongst us and to have an idea what the more experienced growers think, I'm giving away three Zambeza White Cheese Fast regular seeds to the GD meber who comes closest to real result, which I will display here once dried. Rules: This is, if you are over 18, from a country where sending and owning seeds is legal, have a GD account with at least one active grow. Otherwise you get a prize in same value but legal. Nugs feel dense though, compact and weight to it. - middle plant has more buds, but are more larfy and little less dense. - all buds have sprouted little mini buds on them adding weight - Underlayer of buds are all less dense and more larfy. So I wonder what you all think!! See you soon with some results. As a reminder: I plan to dry-cure for at least 10 days at 15% celcius (60F) and 62% RH. Really love this strain, grown it a few times, happy with how she turned out, greasy an sticky and the smoke is heavy an euphoric, she smells like fruit punch with hints of nut meg, a smell I can't explain very pungent...

Letting this one go untopped. Removed some of the lower most branches today. ✂️🌿 Shes looking happy & showing signs of sex after 7 days in 11/13.♀️ Looking forward to seeing what this baby produce.🌺

It's day 22 and after a light lst method i noticed 3/4 of my plants started the flowering phase, exciting!!! Well done @sweetseeds 💪🏻 They look healthy and green and they grow every day a lot!

Flushing starts now. 2weeks of flushing and then they will be ready to harvest :)

Vamos familia, actualizo la séptima semana de floración de estas Royal Gorilla de RoyalQueenSeeds. Empiezan a estropearse un poco por el calor aunque se les ve sanas, están formándose las flores bastante bien. Y desprenden ya un aroma increíble. Alguna se adelantó en la floración intentaré cortarlas todas a la vez pero ya veremos cómo progresa. Adelantó desde ya que llevan lavado de erices y están solo agua este armario no aguantará mucho más. Hasta aquí todo bien el único suplicio que sufro son altas temperaturas por estar en pleno verano. Acabaré este proyecto y daremos parón unas semanas. Que avance algo más el verano. Máximas de 29 y mínimas de 27 ahora viene el calor y ando jodido en humedad ronda el 40%.
