Hello from Georgia00

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Was having some issues with the plants. To much heat not enough humidity. They started show deficiencies and had to flush #1,2,4,5. #3 was healthy with very little signs of issues. No flush. Stopping nutes for the rest of the grow. May use the fishshit still. Will use half recommend and see how that goes since its good throughout growth cycle.

So here we are, another week has passed and the end of this cycle is getting closer... this week I will reduce the EC to 2.0 and next week I will reduce the EC until the substrate runoff is around 0.0 - 1.0 💪💪💪

Week 3 - Transplant to fabric pots Transplanted the ladies in to 17L fabric pots. Used GHF BioGrow and BioBloom in a 2:1 ratio 1g per L to unamended coco-perlite (70/30) mix with extra worm castings. Turned the wattage up on my ballasts to 400W each. The ladies have finally settled in their final pots and the are happy in their new environment. I also performed LST by tucking fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the bud sites.

She’s a stretcher!! Fat Buds, like really big!! Reminds me of cherry cola as far as looks.

Day 74. Girls is down. Chopped her way too early, but loads of milky and I need more space !!!! ;)) Thank You FastBuds for wonderful strain again !!! I'll nail her this year outdoors I guess ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Today is day 19 into flowering these ladies have had a trim and feed. I've untied them and will let them soak up some light and tie them again tmro to get some deeper light to hit the bottom canopy now the lights not being blocked down there

Hi guys! Here we are again, closing report for week 12, or 8 of flowering, as you prefer. This was a great week! I'm super happy in first place, to be home again, and that gives me much more time to look after the plants, the conditions, and really take great care of the grow. All the 5 plants had great development in their bud production and amounts. The grow tent looks small for this 5 girls and now they're struggling a little with the space. About the feedings: I started flushing already. Might be early for many, but I don't see the need for more nutrients when the plants are looking so nice, and I'm also satisfied with it, so now just water until the end. Curiously, the 2 shortest ones are showing signs og being ready very soon as you can see in the close up shots and video. I might give it another week and will chop them both around december 13/14 The remaining 3 ones... they're still work in progress, growing enormously big for my expectations, and filling up the empty spaces with sweet, fruity and tropical aromas in the room. Damn it smells nice when you open that grow room. So yeah, basically now she's just finishing up, drinking water at 6.3 to 6.5PH max, 28 to 38ppm, the temps are good, 18 with lights off, 27 lights on... The only 'issue' this week it turning the plants a bit because they're bending with the weight. Besides that, all good. This happy grower is done for this week, let's see what week 13 will bring us. Hi ! It's a now a monster with a calcium deficiency but she's okay !

The end is near! My behemoth plant is putting in the final push to fatten the buds just the way I like. Trichomes are starting to get cloudy, and pistils are changing from white to red/brown. Buds are plumping. Hopefully i can chop next week, although I am considering a multi-stage harvest. Anyone care to weigh in on that?

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!
