Another demanding week for these ladies but they have reached a milestone. Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. She had gotten a bit over watered so I let her go a few extra days between watering. The next morning, she let me know I did the right thing. 💜

Aug /20 Week 7 of flower and im only began to flush yesterday i expect to havest by sept 1st

She was the Star of the Grow and My Best Yield yet. She was Easy to Grow but I'd suggest taking Care to not overdo the Nutrients. Ran into some early Signs of Burn but She was Fine once I went back to 1/2 Dosage. I Cut the 4 Main Colas to Hang n Clipped the rest at the Buds to Lay Out n Dry. I Barely have Room in My Drying Box. If I've found My Grower's Stride like I Hope I have I'll need to Construct a New Larger Box. By my Calculations She should Dry Out to about 60 Grams. I consider Her My First Successful Grow AND She'll be ready in Time for some Holiday Celebration. Hoping for more to come. Take a Moment to Check My Holiday Video Submission. Panted the seeds straight in their main pots and put a plastic bag over them to increase the humidity. Removed the plastic bags after the plants were 2 days out of the soil. Temp is around 20c and humidity around 50%. No added nutrients yet. Only using some ph minus to bring the pH levels down to arounbd 6,5. After each watering I am slowly increasing the light intensity. Started on 25% then to 50% of the capacity of the lamp. Noticed in the second week that I had set my timer wrong and the plants were on a 14-8 cycle instead of a intended 18-6.

Trouble in Paradise! Both experiencing all kinds of trouble. BUT theyre growing and swelling! I put the blame solely on me, i overwatered in the early weeks and really havent had much time to take care of them in time. Also started flowering nutes way too late. Im happy with both of their forms though! small and bushy, thats how i like them. Sad that the deficiencies had to happen, but oh well, theyre gonna pull through i hope! i downed water to 2L from 2.5L just because it takes really low for them to dry out in between and i wanna get fresh batches of nutes in more often. 2L is also enough to get a tiny bit of runoff so no dry spots or anything. Will see how they like it! due to deficiencies, i skipped giving them 2ml/L of bloom and went straight to 3, also added a good dose of calmag. Didnt defoliate besides really effed-up leaves. Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

This fine lady is really starting to add some nice colours due to some cold temps in our neck of the woods. She has a ton of trichomes development now! I am really impressed with the look of the buds. They aren’t all full of leaves which should make trimming her a pleasure. 😎 She has really been fattening up this week. I am guessing she needs another week or so to finish up. Her colouring should be quite something once she is done. 🤩 I am still having the odd spot of powdery mildew pop up but nothing too serious. I have been treating it with greencure every 3-4 days and it’s keeping it under control. I haven’t found any affecting the buds yet which is a win! This is the reason a good effective regimen of treating plants for pest and mould/mildew is an outdoor growing must!! I have yet to lose a plant to mould or peat so I swear by it. I’ve seen a bunch of my associates with some powdery mildew beast. Such a shame to see😱 Stay tuned for the final week 😎🍿

On Day 39 i mixed 4.5l with some melasse 2 drips of supervite and 5ml of calmag and an oh of 6.2. I also topped them. I also notized some nutrient burnibgs beacause of the livibg soil and some Magnesium deeficensy. On Day 41 i mixed 4.5l with 6ml of calmag 6ml of alfa boost 40ml of Lab and sone supervite as well as some melasse.

Ultima piccola defogliazione per eliminare le cime più basse che non prendevano abbastanza luce, pizzicato le apicali per bloccare la crescita verso l'alto e aumentare la portata delle cime. A più o meno metà della fioritura mi sembra che le piante siano ad un ottimo punto, continuiamo su questa onda

La planta le encantó la nueva luz y empezó estirarse demasiado tanto que para controlar su altura apliqué una poda apical la cual respondió muy bien y empezo a sacar 2 puntas principales
