Rainbow melon what can I say? Fast buds has outdone themselves with these fem photos I’ve grown a few other genetics, but fast buds checks all the boxes plants almost grow them themselves🔥💪

Week 13 for Moby Dick by fastbuds, She lost a lot of her foliage during the hot weather this week as i also think she ran out of food a little earlier than i wanted her to. At the start of the week i gave her a fairly heavy feeding & she gaining some colour back, but now im back to plain water as she comes to her finish. Actually glad so much foliage has fallen off going to be a lot of an easier trimming job 😂

Powdery mildew is being kept at bay from the sun's rays hopefully she stays OK till harvest time. The main cola is getting big and heavy and she is stinking the place up 😊..

🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. 26/07/20 (Sunday) Plants were starting to exhibit signs of light burn so I switched back to the 75W bulb. SVG never seemed to recover from having it's cotyledon damaged so I decided to take a risk and fed all of the seedlings 20-20-20 nutrients except the D.R. which I thought would've suffered shock, so I just watered it. 27/07/20 Decided to mist the plants with a homemade pesticide mix today because they're readying to be introduced as full time outdoor plants in a week or two so their sun basks are getting longer. 28/07/20 Noticed what looks like new growth from the first true leaves of the SVG, fingers crossed it's making progress. 29/07/20 The new growth from the SVG has split into two on both sides leading me to theorize that it's abandoned it's main stem (for now at least) and started two new stems. All other plants are working on new nodes and are showing a steady growth of .5cm a day. I've decided to revert to the 100W bulb because I believe I've misdiagnosed the light burn. 30/07/20 Today I left them outside for their longest sunbask to this point; 7 of their 18 total hours was provided by sunlight. The SVG now has two new 3-leaf true leaves on each new stem confirming my theory. Also starting to see signs of a minor mite problem on one of the leaves of my TT plant (Though it's new growth that wasn't sprayed with my homemade concoction.) 31/07/20 New growth has already begun sprouting from between the new true leaves of the SVG with no visible progress on the 'abandoned' main stem. Also had a power outage for 2 of the plants 18 hours. 01/08/20 Today the plants again stayed out in the sun for longer than previously making 8 hours in direct sunlight. I've decided to keep them in the grow tent for a further week because when I went to retrieve them the Jam was blown down flat by winds and had started to grow bent towards the light, so I doubt it's stem is ready for that daily beating. I raised the soil level and massaged it back into shape and it seems to be back on track. The D.R. is slowly beginning to bounce back from being stunted in the seedling tray and from it's third node (from the bottom up) of 3 leaf true leaves has turned into 5 leaf leaves. The SVG has made a major recovery and seems to be on it's way to even surpassing the others by the end of the week. The TT is officially the sturdiest of the younger seedlings and it's growing right behind the Jam in terms of node development. All in all this week was an overall success growth wise and I'm looking forward even more to week 3.

Malgré les erreurs commises la culture suit son cours, cependant je pensais commencer mes deux semaines de rinçage mais étant ma première culture, j’ai préféré observer l’avancer des trichomes à l’aide de microscope et lentille macro se fixant sur son smartphone, la prise en main étant plus aisé, j’ai pu me rendre compte que la majorité était translucide, j’ai donc décidé de faire une semaine d’engrais supplémentaires. Ce qui est plaisant, c’est de travailler près de ces filles, on plaque de partout et l’odeur, je vous raconte pas...

As we enter week five we notice some of the plants pre flowering. But not all so I decide to stick with veg nutrients until all are showing pre flowers. Half way through the week and the rest of the plants are showing pre flowers. Just in time as the plants that had pre flowered earlier on in the week are showing slight Newt burn on the tips suggesting It is time to change to bloom newts which holds less nitrogen. The magnified picture are of the pre flowers forming ( two little fuzzy hairs). Interesting fact: it takes thousands of those little fuzzy hairs to form just one bud.

Day 36. She is very good feeling. Nice color as for me... I add nutrients once per week and twice only water with ph 6.4-6.7. I am expectin fats and crystals buds)) I think she will be little and heavy...

Week 11, As you can see with the pictures, she has some nutrient burn :( I unfortunately gave her too much nutrients. I knew this strain was sensitive to nutrients because of the 2Fast4buds strain video but I did not know what was too much or not. If I was to grow this strain again ,I would probably switch up nutrients every other watering and not every watering as I did. As a result of the burn, I used some ClearEx in hopes that the leaves will turn back to green. The plant seems to be responding well to the treatment being on 2/17 and all. My plan is to water the plant on 2/19 with only water to flush the plant some more. Hopefully by 2/22 I can give the plant some finishing bud density nutrients for a week or two and then flush time. I am nowhere near a master grower and every mistake is a learning experience :) Let me know if you have any questions/ comments/ concerns. Good luck with everybody grow! 20/02: The plants are overall reacting well to the larger dose of nutrients especially the ignitor - there are lots of bud sites throughout. I was under watering some plants which has resulting in wilting stems and leaves - will move onto 1 litre of water every other day from next week. 1 OG kush and 1 White Widow is lagging behind but we'll get there. Good strong stalks mostly for all the plants. Gave the a hefty defoliation this week also trimming the fan leaves and letting light penetrate the lower branches and bud sites.

She's flying along and looking healthy probably close to the end of stretching but we'll see. The shogun nutrients are amazing and seem to work incredible in coco, she is very thirsty too getting through around 4 litres per day
