This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. Last week! Today 06.11.2020 - i will cut them on saturday and will post the results as soon as possible. Look how hard i burned one plan :( BUT! the buds are not affected, leaves only. Fed on Day 39 Up’d the nutes a bit. Added some Superthrive. Also added (2)3 gallon strains I have from another grow and additional lighting 250w in the tent. Day 44: Watered with PH’d 6.1 water and a couple pinches of epsom salt. Both of their ppm’s were a bit high on the R/O around 1700. I assume this is from the feeding earlier in the week. (I need to start taking better notes) I brought it down considerably to around 900 ppm with a couple gallons of mild flushes. **Personal note** I read alot and I mean ALOT of forums and questions from here as I grow. I’m using a combination of techniques I feel are beneficial and learning do’s and do nots as I go. That being said Please feel free to comment, advice is ALWAYS welcomed! Grow on.

And here we are! CHOP DAY! This strain has been impressive and smells like a bag of oranges! Oh so lovely! This girl packed on the weight. Several branches are hanging and has caused some side branching to separate from the main stalk(my fault for cutting the scrog net). Will definitely be growing this strain again!

Today i build some DIY Co2 Generators.(Next time in Veg) (Day 30) Today i cleaned the tent, Northern Lights#1 is stretching well. Soil still a little moist. Also prepared 10L ph regulated Water. (Day31) Budside getting chunky and very hairy 😇Smell is very good. In my timelaps you can see insane grow over one day. You cant tell that i readjusted LST yesterday (Day 32) Sticky Beast 2 is stretching now, Northern lights 2 still not so much sign's of flower🤨 (Day 33) Looked at my timelaps and the Nortern Lights almost grew 2 cm 🤩 Today i gave them 1250ml Mineralwater ph 6.3-6.5 . Sticky beast still in preflower (Day 34) Did some LST and pruning to my sticky beast now she looks even bigger👌(Day35)

Zweite Woche im Oktober, das Wetter wird immer unbeständiger, die trychome sehen gut aus - Zeit für die Ernte. Ich habe erstmal einige Fächerblätter ohne Harzbesatz entfernt und den Rest zum trocknen aufgehängt. Aufgrund von Platzmangel teils in Umzugskartons und teils im Netz. Nach einer Weile habe ich die Blüten dann vom Stengel getrennt, Manikürt und ins Glas verfrachtet. Aufgrund der Menge war ich bei der Maniküre nicht all zu penibel und habe auch einiges zur späteren Weiberverarbeitung im Eisfach gelagert.

This is a strain a costom breeder and friend of mine has asked me to try. I know little about the genetics other than the name: "Gorilla Glue Pineapple Cheese" Popped the seed as a back up just in case one of my Silver Haze cuttings didn't make it but they all did. This means along with the Gelato there will be 5 plants in this run in the 4x4 tent. I usually only grow 4, so might transfer this into a 3 gallon pot instead of a 5 gallon like the others, as in the past 5 plants in a 4x4 is pushing it for space. We'll see.

TDS meter went bad so my reads are off (low), but until I replace it... Starting LST today, unfortunately the main topped branchs on Gelato #2 split down the middle, I have taped up hopefully to heal. All plants have been topped twice hope to flip in a couple weeks.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. The plants look great. Little bit of thrips damage, but other wise, they look great. Started flushing on Sun. They'll get ph adjusted tap water twice a week... with the run off, draining back into the reservoir. Plant #1 smells like lemon with some mango hints. plants #2 and #3 smell fruity with citrus hints. Will start the harvest on Aug 11th and it should take about 5 days to harvest or maybe 6. It depends on how tired I am and if I need a nap on one of those days to keep my energy up. I also put the buds into curing bags after 3 days hanging, which takes up more time. I've got some other plants to put in their places. and that will take us up to Oct. for that harvest. It's the Mac and Crack Diary. I switch from fish mix to Sugar Royal from plagun but the plants suffered a lot from this and I don’t know why,maybe the bottle that I’m using was old enough and didn’t worked well.I flush the plant and then I use a little bio grow so it’s becoming healthier
