So the hubby has been growing this strain (in soil) for approx 9 weeks. It took some wearing him down but eventually after many batches of freshly baked cookies I finally convinced him to cut me a clone, and an apex clone at that. #truelove It took about 3 weeks to root (unintentionally caused a lock out by attempting to grow roots in the same water/nutrient mix we were giving the 5 wk plant) #lessonlearned She’s since recovered and has grown a beautiful root system. Let’s see where we end up

This grow went beautifully other than the strain I was also running ended up being a hermie and pollinated this one. She really didn’t produce much seed and focused on putting on weight surprisingly enough. So I decided to finish her out and see what happens, gotta say I’m glad I did! Will be without a doubt the biggest yielding plant I’ve grown indoor from seed. ******after 4-5 day drying period******* 6oz in the photo however this is just the tops and a few select lower buds that were sizeable! Still have the whole lower portion hanging in the garage. I’ll update with a full dry weight in a week after she get in some jars.

Little bit of defoliation today just to allow light to hit as much as possible,.. day 21 from breaking soil, all look healthy, started a proper nutrient feed today also, still toying with the idea of topping or just some lst, not sure yet, will see how they look next week,.. stay tuned 😀

So, into day 9 of 12/12 and the girls have responded quickly. Bud sites appearing everywhere. Top dressed with some more nutrients, have had daily manicuring, i prefer little and often rather than 1 massive blast. I have turned the lights up to 85%, and will work it to 100 over the next week or so.

All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids)TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate what will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely with the ppm and ratios listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Day 77/7 PPFD is between 470 and 700 again with little vertical growth after all the HST/LST over last few days. I used 15 minutes of UV mid day with 15 minutes (30 total) IR before and after main light timers. VPD was better today with 73F/55%RH/40%ILV Turning off the humidifier was the key this time. All in all she looks fine for the day, I am hoping to get the new tent up tomorrow and will see if I can get her to fully stretch out again to allow each cola enough space to bulk with light and wind Day 78/8 Tent conditions improved today because I was able to fix the sizing issue - I now have a Spider Farmer Pro-Grade Grow Tent, 48"x48"x80" VPD is harder to get the humidity down in so I may have to put in a second de-humidifier or open another vent port, currently I have a 6" ILV pulling against a 4" open air vent hole. I would have tinkered with it a bit more but I was getting close to lights out so I left it. VPD for most of the day was 74F/55%RH/40%ILV in the Mars Hydro Tent. I current have 68F/65%RH/40%ILV for overnight. Lights are about the same as yesterday with 80% power I am getting 470 to 700 ppfd from 42" from soil to light and since the plant is about 20" that gives her about 22" leaves to light. Im currently using the same 2x4 Bloom Plus LED light centered in the tent but I have another 2x4 Bloom Plus scheduled for delivery on Monday or Tuesday. - She had 20 minutes of UV and 30 minutes total of IR (15/15) I am hoping this allows her to spread out and receive full light/air on each cola - So I also placed 2 more fans in the tent at plant level to help circulate the air better. Day 79/9 PPFD was little changed since yesterday as was vertical growth (I think she's trying to spread back out again.) - ppfd was between 480 and 710 with 25 minutes of UV and 30 of IR (18/18) VPD was a struggle to get under 60 - I now have 2 de-humidifiers in teh tent witht the ILV set to kick up anytime she hits 62%RH. Mostly though I was able to get it down to 55 to 61 - Temps are easier to control with 4 fans and the ILV triggers. Day 80/10 VPD was 74 to 77F today with humidity still pushing 62% with 2 humidifiers today when the tent was closed. Otherwise I was able to reduce the humidity to 35 to 45% with the door open long enough (in MN fall with temps are around 30s) So I had my door open for a bit today because I installed my second Bloom Plus XP2500 LED lights today and had to reroute most of the wires. PPFD after completion ranged from 550 at lowest to 750 - I only did 20 minutes of UV since yesterday was her first day at 20. I also increased the IR to 30/30 with 15 before and after lights on/off - so a total of 1 hr total at lights on/off Feels dry so I plan to feed tomorrow morning with about 3 gallons of 6.3ph de-chlorinated tap water feed in a 10:90 ratio of Veg/Bloom mix Day 81/11 I fed her today with 3 gallons of 6.4ph de-chlorinated tap water with a 25:75 ratio of Veg/Bloom mix at 500ppm. Runoff showed a ph of 6.5 and 1750 ppm. VPD was more stable today after I opened another open air vent hole on another side of the side. 76F/55%RH with ILV on auto when needed. PPFD ranged from 550 to 750 again with the lights at about 42 and she's now 34x28wide x22 tall, so about 20 inches from lights. Still only hit her with 20minutes of UV and an hour of IR with 30/30 at main light schedule with 15/15 before and after. Day 83/13 Almost two weeks since flip. Turning the lights down yesterday seemed to help, little to no new burn progression on those identified yesterday and new growth with no new burn. Will continue to monitor. Nute transfer seems to also slowed progression with the leaves only turning brown where they yellowed before and little to no new yellowing. VPD doing better as well - I turned the heat down just slightly so now avg temps are about 73 - 75F and humidity under 59%RH with the OLV set to auto for limit controls PPFD most unchanged after I started the day with a little LST on the center cola that was getting ahead of the rest. I also released teh last branch being tied - now all colas are simply help by the tomato rings. Once it was leveled PPFD was 750 at highest and about 550 for the lowest.

Week 9 started yesterday, Aug. 1. Gave them their final trim last night. Definitely 2-3 more weeks of veg. I'm still so pumped to have gotten this far and other than my clones, they are looking so good and healthy. I definitely have a good feeling. Happy Monday everyone and as always, happy growing ✌️🍀✌️ UPDATE: Aug. 3rd...going great! Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️ UPDATE: Aug. 5th and still going great! They are getting super bushy. I'll have to trim some lower leaves on Banner but that's it. Banner is a little shorter than Sky but that's ok lightwise! I could only imagine how big they would be by now if I either went natural or just topped, lol. I'm thinking about 5'. Would have been great outdoors if I could trust people to stay in their own yards at night! Anyways, I'm super pumped for the flip, which is very soon 😎 Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️

They are filling out. Have brown turned up tips, EC is good on run off, increasing water. The big Skunk #1 has some purpling and yellowing on some of the upper fan leaves, I belive it is hungry as it is the largest and the others do not show any of the same condition including the other Skunk #1 that is much smaller.

This week temperatures are really high here, more than 3 days above 30° C (86 F) I increased the watering amount to daily frequency. I use raining water that we collect in garden I also added few grains of fertilizer Nitrophoska in each pot, mixed with the soil and provided water. Plant #1 is now 69cm (27 inches) Plant #2 is now 68cm (27 inches) Plant #1 is now 47cm (18,5 inches) Now they all display 9 pointed leaves on new growing leaves of the central stem.

The grow was a complete success I am so happy and have some great quality product at the end of it. First things first the important bits the weights of each plant and what was done differently on each during the grow, plant colours can be determined by looking at the colour of the pipecleaner hooked over side throughout the grow. Pink - Wet = 548g | Dry = 106g Pink didn't have any defoliation or trimming throughout the grow, she was the untouched girl, looked the biggest at the begining but the other girls overtook in flowering in a big big way! She looked like she got root rot close to the end of the grow potentially, her leaves turned on me very quickly and I harvested her early, she wasn't quite as dry as I liked and during drying more mould occurred on some of the buds, I was left with a good 85g after being very fussy and wipping lots of buds out to protect the rest of the harvest. You can tell she was harvested a little early as doesn't taste as good or smell as good as the rest. Her buds in the jar are more compact as been curing for a week on the rest. Orange - Wet = 416g | Dry = 120g A little bit trimming/defoliation. Stripped of fan leaves on last week for flush. Blue - Wet = 466g | Dry = 121g She was smaller at the start, and I flushed too early as she had a late growth spurt and became massive, think she also developed a late root rot but caught it before any harm was caused to the buds but the leaves are a bit yellow as you can see from the final trimmed product! Also potentially so tall she may of been a bit close to the light and got a little hot. Yellow - Wet = 508g | Dry = 132g The abosolute star of the grow! We grew her originally as a backup in a spare container that is awful for growing, we ended up needing her and transplanted her in the early weeks when we broke one of the other girls. She had a good trim/defoliation throughout grow to ensure she was getting good light coverage. So from this grow I have learnt alot and will be taking the information to try and create a perfect grow next time! My plans are to use perlite to help prevent root rot in the later stages and increase air flow through the soil mix. I will also use a 9cm pot to start the grils off and transplant when they have grown out of them. I will place the scrog net in the tent early on so can use it to train the girls, probably around week 2/3. And I will do a light trim late veg and last couple weeks of flower will get a heavy defoliation. Keeps your eyes open for my pineapple express growing coming soon! ----------------------------- Generally speaking, the system is quite well balanced so far. During the day, the air temperature is between 24 and 26°C, while the soil reaches around 21.5°C. Since topping last week, a few side shoots have emerged. I have hung the lamp a little higher to have more distance to the plants and hope that the new side shoots will stretch a little and the red coloration of the leaf stems will be reduced. The automatic watering works quite well, but I had hoped for more. Unfortunately, a few fungus gnats have crept in, which I still have to get rid of. I still think it's a bit premature to start the flowering phase, the ladies should get a bit more size and presence, also because I would like to take a few cuttings. Thank you for your visit and your interest in my grow. Have a great week and lots of aromatic buds!

Day 17 - I started to feed everything from the dutchpro chart which as someone on here pointed put may not have been a good thing to do since my soil already had nutrients. Day 18 - The plant leaf looked like it curled backwards so i posted a question to find out what i was doing wrong. There could be a few different reason for it; but one i thought made a difference was the nutrients because the soil i got is high in nutriets for seedlings and after 1 week i started to add nutrients. Day 19 - I been a little worried that my plant is not growing it, so i will be measuring it every 3 or so days. Day 20 - The light that i had was a full spectrum led and now i changed it to a normal 60w led bulb i hope this helps the growth. Day 21 - I Changed the lights back to the blue ones as it was advised better.
