THURSDAY 11/29: I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session. Beatrice has given me no trouble at all. I am now a true believer in silica supplementation. I've never had plants with such excellent stalk turgidity. She is strong enough to support truly massive buds. FRIDAY: Beatrice is gonna be a buxom gal! She's stopped growing and is spending all her energy popping pistils now. Love it. I foliar fed her and rotated her. SATURDAY: FIMing is so unpredictable..but I like surprises.😁 Her third cola isn't catching up with the other two....looks like they will possibly all merge into one massive bud. I'll spray her with ph'd spring water for another day or two to rinse off any residue and discontinue foliar feeding on her now. I watered today with ph'd water, bud candy, terpinator, calimagic, and a little boomerang. She's directly under a 660nm spot and the 3000k quantum board..no sign of light burn, so I'm lowering it another couple inches and monitoring. SUNDAY: She's been very vigorously growing, she was fast to flower, she's got a really nice fragrance, and her structure allows all of her buds to get good light, but I'm a little disappointed that she hasn't shown me any of those special colors I see on other FB Blackberry diaries at week 6...😟 MONDAY: She was still plenty moist so I'll hold off for another day on nutes. I rinsed her with ph'd spring water again today a couple times. No worries...humidity has been below 30% for a couple days now and airflow in the tent is awesome. TUESDAY: I fed her a tiny dose (8oz) of ph'd water with some Fox Farms bat guano, calimagic, and boomerang, and misted her with ph'd spring water.

THURSDAY 11/29: I'm in love with Gertrude. She's in full beast-mode now. Growing a couple inches per day. She's gonna be a producer.👈 Gretyl is growing, but not as quickly as I'd like. Doubt she's ever gonna get very big.. I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session.😍 FRIDAY: Gertrude is still growing vertically, but also packing on the pistils!!!!!!!😁 Gretyl is actually starting to stretch a bit, too. I foliar fed a few times and spun them around. SATURDAY: I fed them today with about 1/3 gallon of bloom nutes, plus a little extra boomerang for the N. Gertrude is the tallest plant in the garden and there's no sign she's slowing down at all! Every one of her branches is growing an inch a day at least. I'm hoping she's a monster, but at the same time, I'm not looking forward to having to supercrop her. I'd so much rather not do any bondage....really uglies up the photos....but I keep growing dissimilar strains and always have an uneven canopy... Gretyl is now directly under the quantum board, and on a throne, so she's about 18 inches from the light. Hoping to kick her into high gear. SUNDAY: Gretyl perked up a little more and might have even grown a little! Gertrude is still stretching! MONDAY: I foliar fed them a few times and moved them around a little. Gretyl must have soil drainage problems..she kinda wilts for a day following every watering...I started probing her pot today and will continue to do so for a few days. TUESDAY: Gretyl looked horrible today. I probed the hell out of her soil again and fed her about 12oz of ph'd water with boomerang, calimagic, kangaroots, and some powdered bat guano. If she doesn't perk up in the next day or so, I'll assume she's rootbound and transplant her into a 5 gallon pot with more perlite in the mix. Gertrude also looks like she has some drainage problems, but not too terribly bad. I probed her soil today and also gave her about 8oz of the same solution.

THURSDAY 11/29: Impressive plants..both of them. Cruella is waaay more sensitive to heat and needs soil with VERY good drainage. She wilts for a few hours every time I water her, no matter how little I give her. I continue to poke and prod it with my moisture probes regularly to keep it from compacting too much for her. Carlotta hasn't given me any problems at all. She's just a little slower, but almost Cruella's equal in size now. I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session. FRIDAY: Foliar fed a few times and tweaked a few things.. They are both spending most of their energy making flowers now...only grew a half inch last night. SATURDAY: Both Cruella and Carlotta continue to stretch. I fed therm with about 1/3 gallon of full-strength bloom nutes today and foliar fed them a few times and re-positioned them. SUNDAY: Cruella's buds are swelling up a bit now. I plucked off most of her burnt-up leaves and she's looking quite sexy now.😋 Carlotta's main stalk and branches have really thickened up. She's gonna be able to support some super-sized colas like her older sister now.👍 I tweaked my ventilation on Saturday and the temps were staying at or below 84, so... I quickly added my other 60w 3500k COB light to the tent..it's and positioned it on the Cookie-twin's backside.. 😎 MONDAY: I foliar fed them today and will again for a few more days, but will probably start rinsing them off with ph'd spring water after that. Their buds are starting to thicken now. TUESDAY: Cruella and Carlotta both appear to have root problems. They look overwatered even when i just feed them a little and even when they are almost dry. I probed their soil very well and they were actually almost dry. I just fed them a tiny dose (12 oz each) of ph'd water with boomerang, kangaroots, calimagic, and some bat guano powder. If I don't see improvement in the next couple of days, I'll assume they are rootbound and transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots.

THURSDAY 11/29: I'm really digging these lovely little ladies.😍 Short, compact, bushy, quick, and easy. I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session. FRIDAY: Not seeing much more upward growth from Charlotte...she needs to stretch a bit so as to make some bigass buds. Charlene went from an A-cup to a B-cup overnight...you go girl! I foliar fed and tweaked a few things today. SATURDAY: I foliar fed them a few times and rotated them and improved ventilation a bit. I fed them today with full strength bloom nutes...about 1/3 gallon each. Temps are staying at or below 84 now, so I'll add more light!!!😎 SUNDAY: I foliar fed them a few times today. No upward growth to speak of today, but they continue to pack on the pistils. Charlene may be the only plant in the garden to show me special colors...kinda disappointed.. MONDAY: I foliar fed Charlotte and spring water misted Charlene a few times to remove residue from the foliar feeding regimen. I rearranged the garden a little and re-positioned my nanny cam.

Commencing Day 36/Week 6 on November 28th D36 Still slow and steady growing. Some much more slow and steady than others. I am hoping by the end of this week or by sometime next week I can flip to 12/12 and get cuttings. My goal is medium/small size plants with medium sized yields and to hopefully 🤞 find at least one keeper of the bunch. Reason being I have a lot going on and want to see whats the best I can get with light work load. Bigger plants=bigger work loads. I also noticed the Boss Hogg1 must be Canadian 😄 one of the leafs is a maple leaf shape with no finger separation (aka duck foot mutation 🦆; see photo). This is the same plant I called a Purple Tarantula in one of the earlier weeks. Definitely a freak. Day37 Filled all buckets till water line was bubbling into net pot. Filled with oxygenated &(dechlorinated) house water. Added 10ml Clonex per bucket. Some needed pH but not much on .2 off from 5.8. ppm is around 800-900. Leaving lights on again overnight. (Cold front coming). Day 38 Added 5ml Cal Mag to each bucket. Added more fresh water to bring PPM back down to 800. pH sitting around 5.9 Noticed 818 Headband was hiding a tiny clover friend. I'll keep it there for now. Maybe find a four leafed clover for good luck 🤞 Also noticed that the sativas phenos are being picky eaters compared to the rest. Also noticed the 818 is catching up a little more. Definitely a nice healthy steady growth. Just quite a bit slower then the Gorilla Zkittles. Lastly tonight the plants will go into 14 on 10 off. This is to induce stretching (they are sooooooooo short; due to 8 on 4 off light schedule) and maybe preflowering also. Won't be long!😄👍 Day 42 Few days in the new light shedule is working great. Plants seem to be getting ready for me 👍 I've also switched the plants around to accommodate the grow a little better (ie in order of size) The 818's and Raspberry is catching up slowly to the GZ giants. (& looking great 😄) but man these GZs are thirsty girls, they drink the ppm and water levels in one day what the others take in 3 or 4. Needless to say I've been pHing everyday basically and adding water and light nutes to keep around 800ppm and 5.8pH. maybe only mentionable is that the GZs needed more nutes (ppms dropped about 200ppm to 600 in two days) and pH balancing (pH shot up to 6.2 in two days) than the others. I'm getting anxious to flip and cut. The GZs are right where I want them. The others, not yet. I'll have to find a happy medium where the runts are at least so big with out letting the GZs get too big. Thank you for reading and watching

Nov 22nd - Day 36 - FLUSHED - Flushed plants as worried about lockout - I swear I am now getting a small hint of the cheese small but it may be in my head - More trimming and LSTing Nov 23rd - Day 37 - Switched to the HPS - Installed HPS during the off period to make sure bulb was not hot - Not essentially need but some sites/growers suggest even for autos to switch from MH to HPS during flowering as it may increase trichome production Nov 25th - Day 39 - Feeding time - Added more bloom to this batch as it is for the flowering stage and i am hoping to encourage big buds - Very dry conditions may need to invest in a humidifier for the next grow

We have two rainbows from b.s.f.seeds and one san Fernando valley, the oldest of the rainbow is on week 5 day 35 under 250 watts and the other is on day 28 week 4 and 150 watts hps , p.h. 5.5

The whole experience so far, to me, has been interesting. But I suppose now we’ve arrived at the point where things get really interesting. Did one more round of heavy defoliation this week to really get all the bud sites exposed to light. Not a significant amount of stretching with this strain.

~ Update ~ Hello my friends, welcome back to another weekly update. I have a few issues going on so I’ll put those below in the IPN. This has been a good week so far, the girls are very happy, except the bazar mazar… Other than that it’s exciting that I’m pretty much at the halfway point :) Anyways, enjoy the update and let me know what you think in the comments, I always appreciate feedback ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD] Notes: This is the healthiest of the bunch, nice rich green leaves and fluffy buds. I’m surprised the this little mutant is doing so well. As I said in the vlog GCS got back to me last week, I’ll keep them up to date with my grow so they know what’s going on with this girl. [Mazar] Notes: Burn! I’m noticing a lot of small but noticeable spots, leaf chattering, and slight yellowing at the tip of the leaves. I feel like I should just avoid feeding this girl though I’m not sure if that will help the situation. If you guys can take a look at this girl I’d really appreciate it :) Edit: I found out thanks to my friends here on GD that I burned my Bazar Mazar :( So time for water which I might only give her water and flower fuel then flush till harvest (might be my cleanest tasting and smelling afterwards). It's hard to feed 4 different metabolisms every watering, but hey I'm learning :) [Super Silver Haze] Notes: The beast of the grow! What a lovely plant. Even though this girl got really hungry and started cannibalizing the lower leaves her buds are massive! I’m impressed with the total growth of this beast. Honestly, I’m cheering this girl on, might be my favorite (don’t tell the others). [White Widow] Notes: More like purple widow, this dense girl is showing her dark side and I like it. I planned on the purpling, still surprising to see all this purple though. I like purple buds but I don’t want this (or any of the girls) getting shocked by the cold. Hoping the I can get a few more pieces of gear to help out the next grow. ~ Final Thoughts ~ What a week, some of the girls are rocking and the Mazar, not so much :) It’s a learning experience that will take some time for me to learn how to balance all (most) of the variables. So I was just having a good look at my plants today, when I noticed that one of the girls looked different! She has three leaves instead of the usual two appearing! I realized it was odd when I saw that she also had three cotyledons instead of the normal and natural two! So I did my research and it's called either whorled phylotaxy or a polyploid (which I figured from the start).😄 So obviously, I'm a first time grower and a newbie to it all, and I'm not sure if these girls are ready to be moved outside yet, or are they still a bit too small? Should I wait for a second pair of true leaves?✊
