Dear diary, Week 5 completed and after a scare last week with magnesium deficiency, we were able to get it sorted and continue the mainlining. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 32: Gave a foliar of calmag water at 3.0ms 6.1ph during light off so it’s more gentle on the leaves followed by a regular feeding at 1.46ms 6.1ph. Still seeing some deteriorating continuing on lower leaves, so will get epsom salt tomorrow to really target magnesium and increase the calmag with 0.7ml/l in feeds going forward. ⏰ Day 33: Gave a foliar of epsom salt at 6.6g/liter(3.2EC 6.3ph)as lights went off but as I read more my ratios were off and I diluted the solution with 50% regular water. Regular feeding at 1.45ms 6.2ph was given at lights on. When inspecting the girls a few hours later they look a lot healthier already, so clearly magnesium was the issue. Will give them today to recover and if everything keeps looking good by tomorrow, I will do the next topping. If so I will have lost 5 days of progress due to the deficiency, but that’s the upside with photos I guess vs autos. ⏰ Day 34: Another foliar of epsom salt applied and feeding of 1.5l each at 1.56ms 5.8ph. A few hours later topping nr 2 done making it 4 tops each now and stripped the remaining growth. I did however leave the fan-leaves attached to the new top node and for W.C #1 I left another set of fan-leaves for an extra boost as she’s a bit behind. ⏰ Day 35: Did a quick check before lights off and they are praying and looking good considering the topping. Then I did a regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.5ph when lights went on. Still looking good and no continued signs of the magnesium issue. Lastly I removed the extra 2 fan-leaves I had left on WC #1 as her new tops are growing nicely and turned up the light slightly. ⏰ Day 36: Regular feeding at 1.56ms 5.6ph. Girls are looking healthy and enough has grown out that I can start tying down the 4 new mains. Will probably top them again in 1-2 days if everything progresses nicely. ⏰ Day 37: Foliar of epsom given just as lights turned off followed by regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.8ph when lights turned back on. ⏰ Day 38: Regular feeding at 1.61ms 5.9ph. Topping nr 3 was also done bringing it to 8 tops each and I will do the 4th and final topping as soon as the nodes have developed a bit more.

This week went ok . I noticed there are Rust spots on the leaves that was due to I didn't have my carbon filter at the time but I do now and the plants have been treated today with the spray .but other then that thay ar doing well . Update – Day 13 • The plants are continuing steady early vegetative growth. • Leaf development looks good, with a healthy green color and compact structure. • Stems are becoming stronger, showing stable progress since germination. ⸻ Pest Situation • Unfortunately, the thrips problem is still present, despite thorough cleaning of the grow area beforehand. • To address this issue in a natural way, I have ordered beneficial nematodes. • They are expected to arrive in the next few days and should help control the thrips population effectively. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • Until the nematodes arrive, close observation of the leaves continues to be necessary. • The plants themselves are holding up well, showing resilience despite the pest pressure. • I am confident that once the nematodes are applied, the situation will improve and allow for uninterrupted growth. ⸻ 🌱 Day 13 – steady growth continues, with pest control measures soon being implemented.

After i ended mast week with hurting her, I decided to give her some extra support on the 2main colas. I did this by putting 2 more wooden sticks next to the colas. It wasn't a pleasant thing to do because i could feel the stick penetrating te roots. hopefully i did'nt hurt them to bad. after that I tied them up to the stick instead of keep pulling them down like like i intended to do. I noticed that the weather is changing and the forecast predicted stormy nights. putting her inside is no option, so i'll guess giving her extra support with sticks was the best thing to do. i will also place her under a shed at night, if it doesnt get blown away by the storm

For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Growing well.

The plants grew really well by about 13 cm. I put the photo period 12/12, they're really fragrant. I provided the right nutrients every day using mycorizze

So she is a little stunted by the rain! The soil got completely drenched for about a week and I can tell it effected the growth. Looks like the pre pre flowers are starting to show at the end of week 3. No food yet, but thinking soon when the soil drys out because the rain washed out the soil! 🤷‍♀️🏻 ✌️💚🌿💨

➡️ Risultato molto scadente per quanto riguarda la resa. Ma c era da aspettarselo questa runtz ha attraversato la transizione della grow room in una grow con condizioni ottimali. In più è cresciuta in un vaso da 3L ed è stata la mia prima esperienza. ➡️Per quanto riguarda il prodotto finale nulla da dire, molto aromatico di frutti tropicali con note dolci e terrose. ➡️Riprenderò questi Semi per vedere cosa possono rendere in vasi da 7L e tutte le cure possibili😊
