She has received a bit of heat stress from last week but she seems stable. She has not been fead anything this week all she has had is just pure natural sunlight. The pot is not light enough to feed her so I will wait until tbefore I feed her and continue to keep her in the natural sunlight

Week 5 of flower! Did some defoliation and some more supercropping to bring the height down, as I measured 70k lux at the canopy (a little too much). Buds are stacking nicely now, it's on cruise control from here on out. Just gonna let the plant do its thing.

Took less than a week to get her from seed to 5 gallon pot!

I was ahead of schedule with my weekly updates so I am changing this week to the true week 6 update, photos are about a week and a half from last week update. Starting flowering nutes tomorrow after flushing all day today, seeing a lot of new pistil growth. I was hoping to have these harvested around week 10 but I’m thinking it’s gonna be more like 12 or 13 now which is fine, just taking it day by day. This week has been a lot of stretching, with the tallest one coming out at around 17 inches. I was gone on a trip for 5 days and left them to their own devices, and returned to see great growth and no signs of any issues. Humidity was at 90% in the tent when I got back which scared me but I saw no signs of stress, these girls really are some hulks. Aired it out and it’s back to a reasonable level now. I’ve been expressing my worries in previous updates about the plants growing too big for their grow area, however nothing is getting out of control and I don’t see them growing more than 12 more inches, which at max could be pushing a little close to the light but should be ok. Starting to get hints of some nice pungent smells which are different than the previous earthy ones, getting pretty excited.

at this week u can compare the stems and bush in the videos, keep in mind this is my first hydro grow and i messed the PPM and PH a few times.. also snapped a whole branch of the hydro plant around week 4. still the hydro plant looks bigger and fatter stem. lol

The plants are developing well. You can tell we're nearing the end. They don't smell too strong. The first two plants from left to right are kiwi x papaya, followed by Super Larry OG, which has a structural problem. The rest of the plants are grown from given seeds that have shown good visual results.

Plant is growing awesome. Tying down as she grows along with the idea she'll stay nice and short in my cramped tent. Watering every two or three days by removing from tent and placing in tub overfull of water - letting it feed from the bottom for a couple hours. Central stem/trunk looks strong and vigorous. Excited to see how the next week shakes out, should start flower 👽🤗🤗

Esta semana fue muy difícil para la planta pues me intentaron quemar la planta agregando jabón y le hice por 5 dias lavado de raiz y la dejé en sombra para recuperarla

This one is surprising me with it's height. I guess I just assumed with it being very indica dominant that it'd squat a little more. But hey more plant to train = more budsites, I'm okay with that.👍 I topped every bud site on every plant, both indoors & outdoors.

Day8: First day of the new week. I assume still pretty much focusing on roots, as the top didn't really do much today. Day9: Nothing special. But she's growing Day10: Still roots, it seems. Very little happening up top. Day11: Effort being put into growing the top leaves. They increased in size. I assume that the next node will start tomorrow - kicking off the switch into Veg. Day12: Next node already showing :D Day13: I put in a humidifier and changed the cycle of the extractor to keep more moisture in the growbox. My humidity was way too low. Day14: This time the humidity was too high. It was sitting at around 95% when the lights went on.

Week 6 mix pack 4 plants and 3 different strains looks like to me. I completely changed my predictions that are in the pictures since I saw the colors starting to come out Week 5 papaya cookies looking a bit sad today but generally looking good with a lot of buds Let’s see what comes next !!!!!

i flipped them to flower. Noticed a bit of stretch which will probably continue for another two weeks. SD2 still looks light but i flipped them all anyway. Will see what happens

Buds are getting bigger now and the smell is incredible. Looking forward to planting more at start of may full with nutrients this time to see the difference of yield.

I'm like 5 days late with this update so I have had to pin videos that I took the same week while I was communicating with TRYHARD so ignore any dialogue that's out of context they aren't diary logs they are simply correspondence between myself And TRY, oh and sorry about my language I'm common as muck me. The pictures are just random pics I took that week as oppose to my usual more organised method but hey ho I'll do a more tidy job next week. The week went swimmingly barring some nitrogen deff on the lowers which I initially put down to the hot weather drying the pots too quickly and causing nute lockout with the salt buildup so I flushed then gave them a nice feed after they dried the pot at which point I noticed the most heavily afflicted by the N deff were also the quickest drinkers and had lower EC on the runoff so I have been giving them a slightly stronger feed than the others and it seems to have solved everything so I'm happy with that. Bud development is nice, frost is nice, terps are through the roof right now..... Zkittlez ones are really stinking of lime and candy bubblegum Punch ones are stinking berry berry nice! After last week’s transition, the Mango Kush sisters have officially declared themselves in flower mode. Both phenos are pushing pistils everywhere, covering the canopy with bright white hairs—a sign that flower sites are established and stacking is about to begin. • Pheno #1: Taller, more aggressive stretch, stacking sites fast, almost frame-filling. • Pheno #2: Slightly more compact, slower to start, but now catching fire—showing dense bud initiation with tighter internodes. The studio photo session this week captured the exact transformation: the difference between “pre-flower promise” and “flower reality.” From here forward, every day is about bud development, resin production, and stacking density. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Update – Bloom Formula Dialed In The nutrient program continues blending Aptus precision with Plagron bloom support. The girls are thriving on this synergy—lush green leaves, pistil burst, no signs of excess salts. Water Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 1 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml ✅ Expect: Increased flower site density, tighter stacking, and early terpene production (Sugar Royal always adds a little magic). ❌ Not yet: Bulk swelling, trichome frost, or strong aromas. New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later.
