This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Update 2017-08-20. These girls are much slower to germinate and to start growing than the other 6 girls I started at the same time. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. Mar 7 (day 78): Start of week 12. Mar 11 (day 82): Chopped plant.

Day 21. Weather was cloudy all week, average 2 hours of direct sunlight per day. Messed up trying to begin LST broke the 2 lower branches. This plant will have 2 main colas instead of 4 like was planned.

I'll report back with weight post dry and trim. Extremely high hopes for this strain, grew basically perfect start to finish. The one additional comment I have is on the wicking self watering base from AC Infinity I used. It did really well at keeping the soil damp, but not wet. Not sure if there will ever be issues with root rot, but I was careful to let the reservoir empty between waterings. The one downside to it is once it's set, you can't really move the pot at all without messing up the wicking ropes. Pros vastly outweigh the con though as you can leave it several days with a full reservoir.

My feathery friends came to check on me and my plants while I was harvesting and washing my harvest. 🦃❤️ I washed everything with a mixture of lemon juice and natriumbicarbonate and rinsed it with two buckets of clean water. Hung it to dry in a room with a dehumidifier and a ventilator.

Just in time for the start of the 5th week, the first pistils appeared, so I started adding Bio-Grow to the fertilizer. The plant now takes up almost the entire surface area of the grow box, but fortunately it has stretched a little and gained some height. The LST was adjusted again and again and a few leaves were removed from time to time so that as many shoots as possible received enough light.

All in all she's doing pretty well. Growth is pretty much all in the buds and the room now smells strongly of lemons :) yum yum yum. Wanna lick my fingers after touching the plant. She is starting to show some leaf damage. I'm not certain what it is but could be light burn? That light burned the shit out of my wife's plants last winter (she upgraded to Spider Farmer)... so could be. pH is pretty stable and checked every day or two. Temp and humidity are mostly steady. Nutes are maybe a touch low? I am purposefully keeping a modest feeding concentration but pretty sure it's well within safe range. I think it basically leaves the light or some sort of root issue but those roots are just so good looking. Tapering off the nutrients now into the home stretch. No more Big Bud to be added and as of next week she's in flush. Very excited. See the picture of the nutrient schedule for anyone interested... and feedback if you have any 😎 I added another mature plant to the room. A friend's attempt at soil growing did not work out (did not use proper grow light) so I'm trying to help her produce at least a few decent buds 😕. No harm, there's space in the place and plenty of light to go around. Anyone reading - do you have experience water washing? That's my plan for this lady.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 71 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Dutch Passion Week 0 DP is a new company for me so let me just say that their unboxing experience is truly fantastic. You get a nice little sealed tin box, loads of nice writing on it , inside a vacuum sealed bag, some cool story about the gens and how to grow on the inside of the lid aswell, it's an absolute pleasure opening these, if you want more pics of this just drop me a message, truly one of the best efforts i've seen for this for sure. I made a 1L solution with just a few drops of my specially made kelp extract, see the video how thick it is compared to store-bought stuff lol, and put some of that in a glass, dropped these seeds in the glass, cover to protect from the light and let that sit for one night to activate the seed. The next day one of these had cracked its shell already, i'm digging these genetics already, let's see how they do ! placed them in a propagator , covered with some dirt to protect from the light, now they're chilling covered, let's see how many sprout ! hopefully all of them ! they came out strong within a day 2 had cracked the surface, the second day they all had cracked the surface, the third day they already started stretching due to my broken propagator, on the fourth day you can see their roots sticking out on the picture, i decided to transplant them early because they were already stretching and the broken propagator wasn't making me happy. fed them plain tap water with a tea spoon once. I do like the RQS propagator i got from Zambeza, and even though it was broken it did make the whole germination much easier, i would definitely recomend the starter kit from zambeza so far, but i decided not to try any of their genetics until next round, which starts soon anyway... see you for next week's update !

Coming to the end here for both plants. I've been only watering ph water. Watered until runoff for the last time and just watching the trichomes turn now. 10.5 weeks and they seem to be pretty much done.

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.
