We are almost at the moment of working our magic, we are about to go into flowering and the vegetative phase is coming to an end, our Zamensia Slurricane is a very beautiful plant with low internodal distance that looks like a small Japanese tree. We are about to do the last topping that will bring it to 16 tops, 16 small clones of the main cola that will come up I hope at the same time and all together and above all I hope that the cold will give us a great resin and a beautiful coloration. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The topping cuts slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit into over, it happened to her then you detach and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. It is a process that must be nuanced very delicately. Ideally it is to start by preparing the soil with fertilizer and add if necessary. I over-fertilized the plants a bit but it's something I've always managed very well once I got to flowering. Everyone is looking pretty healthy however the bud development looks closer to week 3/4 imo and I really don't like the node spacing on plant #1, I wish we had limited some of her stretch sooner. I don't see large intact colas in that plant's future, probably long bud spiraled branches but its not the end of the world lol...We gave a tomato cage to the freak mainline for some added stability (she's definitely going to need it). All buds are beginning to frost and look as if they'll be coated by the end!! This has been one of the easiest grows I had so far. The feeding was the key. Amending with a ‘Grow’ amendment(rich in Nitrogen) and supplement with Bloom liquid nutrients. Watering as often as possible and using RO water. Even though I had a pest invasion the girls did great.

This week we haven't really experience anything too crazy, plant C had a little underwatering issue she got thirsty started to look pretty weak the 1st day of week 6 (for her only) she had recovered by the end of day 1 before going into the dark cycle. As the week progresses we should see some more tricome production and some more development of the bud sites. I'm hoping the underwatering that happened won't stunt or hurt the end yield too bad, that was a bad moment of laziness... whoops. Overall I haven't had any problems yet with pests there's been a lot of gnats and spiders on the outside of the tent but nothing on the inside. For a cheap tent it's working awesome. It does have some light leakaround the zippers but this isn't a problem for me as I'm growing in a darker area already. But if this were in a bright room all the time this tent would be a bad choice. Now as week 7 progresses we'll start seeing more rapid Bud development and see some increased tricome production. To think this girl (plant A) is just barely over halfway done is crazy. I have ended up removing the entire bottom 1/3 of the plant in the form of defoliation of the yellowed and dying leaves. People say don't defoliate Autos for shock reasons I hope it doesn't really matter.

2/4: Photo session day! Both of these girls do seem to be mostly sativa, as billed. The have a very pungent aroma..not quite normal. I removed most of the lower fan leaves. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon each and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls aren't stretching much, but continue to spend energy on their lower branches. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's warmer than 72f outside, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

These girls are taking off like a 🚀.Day 21 I’ve noticed all really healthy strong plants with min stretch as I now have the SE7000 set at 50 percent.So I did some LST and I expect to see some really good growth this week 🔥

Great progress being made at a really fast rate. The orange sherbert are starting to catch up with the POG and the buds look like they’re gonna be big and fat. All OS fairly short bar one, all developing at breakneck speed bar one, but all looking great and like they’ll produce gold. Barneys Farm truly do have some great genetics going on, I’ve been so pleased watching every strain I’ve grown from them. In the past I’ve noticed a similar vigour with cookies kush and with gorilla Zkittlez. Anyhow, all moving nicely in the tent, if only it reflected on life in general😣😂 Really looking forward to tasting these girls now. In week 4 they’ve shown the kind of size they’re gonna reach, I think I’m doing better than previous grows but I kind of always think that or at least hope it and alas again I am a smoker and am prone to over exaggeration especially when comparing two ladies, you gotta be careful not to offend either one ya kna!😉😬
