So basically this is the last week I give the ladies before I flush the ladies out . Everything is going fantastic . Lots of new gizmos and gadgets in the grow room now taking it to the next level . Lots of growth this week and working to solve the humidity issues - Jack had a trim! I think it's probably because of the size of my pots but these girls just won't stop growing! I bit the bullet and did some light defoliation on Jack this week - it didn't seem to phase her at all so I'm a bit more confident about going further. I decided to giver her a bit of a trim, mostly the lower fan leaves. It was because she was so dense and tucking the leaves wasn't really working out, she bounced back fine so now I'm thinking of giving her a bigger trim - not sure I've got the guts though! I've kept feeding her a little bloom every couple of days, not sure if it's helping with her size and density but I don't really want to stop. Flowers are developing but not as quickly as those on the Chocolate Orange, Jack doesn't smell quite as much as her any more either. To fix the humidity issues I diverted the extraction duct to another room which seems to have made a big difference, RH is now consistently under 57% and usually around 55% - still not ideal but I don't think I'll get it much lower. I've moved the fan so that there's plenty of air moving over the canopy - hopefully enough to keep away the mould as the grow progresses.

Day 40 ( 3 in flower) : These girls are amazing and deserve some star status for their growing ability. From the off these girls have given full attention to their growth , even the 2 girls that were suffering under the intensity of the lights ( moved to 24 "now.) It gave 2 of them tip curl like too much Nitrogen does so had me head scratching on the new Mega crop and dosages. Now figured they are continuing to outgrow most of the other strains running. They have been easy to work with on their lst and pin down and far extend the pots edges. #1 The living organic girl is loving her spot in the room and paying me back in her spurts of growth. # needs a little thinning out but happy .#3 Is a willing bush in the making but a good defol will open her up.

Hps now on and also to try out a side by side rest of hps vs led Defoliation and tie down week some lst and hst to try build an even canopy Still questioning weather to get a net in there later on or keep tying down ? One more week of veg then flip the lights to 12/12 plants are eating up the feed nicely

Week 8 of flowering, Biscotti mints 2 looks more close to the end than Biscotti mints 1. Both very frosty, smelling really good. It’s been 1 week since I flushed them 😍 Looking at the trichomes they are close to the stage I like(around 20-30% amber) so I will harvest them.. probably 1 more week. Overall really happy with what I am seeing 🤩 can’t wait to smoke it 🤪

the girls gain 1cm a day :) they are still quite vigorous, quite green; I expect another week of stretch before they concentrate on the buds. maximum dose of alga bloom, green sensation and sugar royal. my whole tent is occupied by the canopy; would a little defoliation be necessary? i'll take any advice :) One small thing: look at the 2 last pics, it looks like a "twin head", I've never seen that before EDIT : finally defoliated them next morning (see last pic), they now breathe again :) EDIT 2 : a small research on web & i got my response : "twin head" = polyploïd cannabis

We are nearing the end of this grow and so far everything is taking shape very nicely. I did a quick 2 day flush with some florakleen from GHE and then got back to the bloom nutrients. I did this just to clean the roots a little and get rid of any unwanted salt build up. This will hopefully set us up for a strong finish. Really impressed with the marshydro fc3000 thus far. For next week i will push the EC levels quite a bit, remove any unwanted popcorn nugs and try set it up for a strong finish.
