Well I had a bit of a setback the past week. The leaves started showing some black sort of toxicity (couple leaves have a spot or two in this weeks pics) and I noticed my leaves were somewhat darker to other plants at a similar age. I decided to flush it yesterday before lights on with PH'd water and fed it a lighter dose of nutes and also raised the lights 2". She immediately perked back up and a day later she seems to be doing a lot better. Leaves looking better and she's still growing! I _lightly_ defoliated (4-5 leaves) to get more airflow.

1st week of Flower

Pheno 1: strong natural tart cherries with a slight candy Pheno 2: loud cherry candy Pheno 3: cherry fun dip Pheno 4: cherries mashed with earthiness Pheno 5: the strongest cherry pheno I’ve ever smelt. Just loud cherries in your face. I kept pheno 3 and 5. I pressed both into rosin and the terps were insane it smelt like I worked a double at the marischino cherry factory. The terps on 3 were cherries on the inhale with a candy fun dip exhale (absolutely up my alley). Pheno 5 was the most in your face cherry I’ve ever tasted. It was straight cherries throughout the inhale exhale with a slight tart/candy on the back end. I have found my cherry phenos for my future business. Thank you for riding this journey with me. She had her issues and is not a big yielder. But she makes up for it in beauty and aroma! New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

8/6/21: Harvest Day!! We'll update the week to "harvest" once everything is dried..My camera scope broke somehow so we're back to using cheap jewelers loupes for now but trichs look completely milky, a few amber spots closer the bud's base, we didn't flush as long as we wanted but I felt it was good to get her chopped down before the heatwave and space is becoming a real issue again... we dry in cardboard boxes, in a room controlled to 65F...we don't usually get bud weights, as its all for personal use but ill try my hardest to get an accurate dry weight before my husband smokes it all lol...Thank you for reading and happy growing everyone! 😽❤️💡🌱

FBT2309 is flowering well. She has a sweet flowery aroma at the moment. She is growing under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in the Gen1:11 nutrition. She is coming to the end part of bulking. I figure she has about 2 weeks left roughly. She has a nice frost, and is looking great. The organo-mineral nutrition is a bit tougher to grow in. The flavor has been amazing from other grows. So it's worth the extra effort. I checked the trichomes w. ~70X for the first time at the end of week 7 and they were clear. I checked again on the following day (day 51) and they had started turning milky so, I flushed with (with regular pH-ed water) until runoff was reading ≤150 ppm. I'm a little worried I'm late on the draw with flushing, but I'm seeing very few amber trichomes at this point. They are getting chunkier by the day! Let's hope I flushed well enough.. home stretch.

Just cruising along still. I’ve moved a few branches here or there for even lighting but that’s about it. Trichomes are starting to become more prominent, especially in Pineapple Skunk, check out the photos!! Buds continue to bulk up here or there. I only see amber trichomes on sugar leaves and haven’t seen any on the buds yet. Most are still clear. Less than half of the hairs are orange so I think my schedule is still on track. I have 2 more weeks before the flush starts. I might start it early if I notice any one of them starting to mature. Since there are 3 plants and I want a single harvest day, I will try and time it so they are spread across the spectrum of early to mid harvest timing. Thanks for stopping by!
