June 27th - field checks for sure as the week progresses. Making sure outdoor plants get amended with updated feedings and Mtce. ~ 6 more weeks of Veg, thats all !!! - Southern Ontario gets just 14hrs of day-lite on Aug 13th. That is the first day of Flower for me. 28th - visited Congo #3 x Bangi Haze, Purple Dawn and Russian Tzar Bomba - top-dressed each 15 gal fabric pot - re-applied support bamboo and isolated stalk - great to see Lady Bugs on the plants. We could find no other insects or bite marks. LadyBugs are welcome anytime July 1/2 - cleaned the weeds around the plant bases / hillside of the LSD and Panama Red plants ( + purpsberry and Honduras x Panama) - noticed the wind had Split the FIM-site on the Panama Red. Being so fresh, duct-tape leaves no fear that the repaired-joint is exposed. “Are Toppings safer than FIMS, when exposed to outdoor Wind stresses ?” Maybe that little nuggett on top truly holds the joint together. The split on the Fim was about to go right down the plant. - soils amended towards 15gal pots, with fresh Fertilizer, compost, azomite, kelp meal - each plant given a gallon of nutrients on the first, ahead of a possible storm. No storm, plants fed 1.25 gallons of root boost ea., through Soil Amendment… today, the 2nd - next couple of waterings are Reduced strength but full spectrum Nutrients. - Panama Red is as wide as it is tall. With wispy branches that are full of tiny delicate leaves. I threw a quik video into the photos. Better effort next time. There is a Real lacey kind of branch network on this strain - LSD is a hardy stocky plant. Supernhealthy

2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Keeping our hopes up here and uttering my characteristic prayer... Please God dont let me foul this up... Amen 2/5 Feeding as before Had to bind her up a bit, she is so heavy we were afraid of her toppling over. Seriously this plant is TOP HEAVY. Which is good I guess 😬 Not flushing till I see it is time, not messing this one up. Dont get plants like this everyday. 2/7 Ending the week with a full tent again Switched lights to 12-12 and bound her up to fit in half the tent, we literally could not come up with anything else for this. She just keeps going and going lol DRY WEIGHT ON RIPLEY! 261 grams Hoped for more but meh sativas. Still nothing to sneeze at 😇

It would only let me upload a 50 second clip I sent my buddy 🤣😂🤣😂 I’m an idiot ⭐️⭐️⭐️HARVEST DAY⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last full week was flushing again -Flush flush time 15 days -Starting runoff 9.6 EC -Ending runoff 0.2 EC No water the last day and a half. These are so full and hard I didn’t even bother doing an initial weigh in for cut hung plant material weight. These will be stored in the flower room at 58-60% and 60-62% humidity. It’s going to be a long dry. I’m guessing 14-21 days. 👆 I CAN LEAVE THESE HUNG FLANTS IN THE ROOM AS LONG AS I CHOOSE IF THE CONDITIONS STAY AT 58 DEGREES AND 62% HUMIDITY I will be back to upload a harvest week with trimmed bud shots. This was a really good grow. The super lemon haze should be a breeze to trim because of how uniform the leaves are even though there is a lot of them. Smells delicious…I’ll see you next week!

The Oasis Project Durban Poison Quartet: Week 13 Grow Diary Report The Durban Poison quartet is showing great vitality this week, basking in full outdoor sunlight on the deck. All four plants are fully in their vegetative stage, pushing out healthy fan leaves and developing unique physical profiles across their individual fabric pots. Individual Plant Breakdown DP1: This plant features a very distinct, open growth structure compared to its siblings. The branches are long, reaching outward and upward with plenty of space between the nodes. It is highly scannable, making it easy to see through to the inner stems. It looks vigorous and is taking full advantage of the ambient light. DP5: Showing off a much bushier, dense canopy than Plant #1. The leaves are clustered tightly together, creating a thick dome of foliage. The rich green coloring looks strong, though there are a few minor leaf imperfections typical of outdoor grows, likely from wind or light exposure. DP6: This is the absolute powerhouse of the group. Plant #6 has exploded into a massive, lush bush with dark green fan leaves. It has overtaken its pot size with heavy branching and dense growth, indicating a highly active root system and excellent nutrient uptake. DP4: Exhibiting a medium-bushy profile, sitting right between the open structure of #1 and the density of #5 and #6. Plant #4 shows some noticeable light-colored spotting and mild chlorosis (yellowing) on a few of its mid-to-lower fan leaves. Garden Notes & Observations Observation: Current Status Growth Stage: Late Vegetative Environment: Outdoor, full sun exposure Containers: Large black smart/fabric pots (including a 25-gallon container for Plant #4) Support Systems: Wooden bamboo stakes utilized across the pots to stabilize early branching Next Steps: Nutrient Check: Keep a close eye on Plant #4. The mild leaf spotting and fading could point to the beginning of a minor nutrient deficiency (possibly nitrogen or magnesium) or slight watering stress. A gentle, balanced feeding might be needed to green it back up. Canopy Management: With Plant #6 getting so incredibly dense, it might benefit from some light defoliation of the inner/lower leaves in the coming weeks to improve airflow and prevent moisture traps. Overall, the quartet is looking fantastic, strong, and well-positioned as they continue their outdoor vegetative cycle. Say hello to the new member of the Oasis Project, Pablo the Prickly Pear. Roots looking good, plant looking good but look close and you can see a nute deficiency coming. most likely because my lazy ass did not change the water yet so i got some pH problems. but i wasn't paying attention to this yet haha

processing outside and then taking for drying in a shadowed ventilated room for about 10 days......very sticky stuff... then to jars to cure for 2 weeks. Then i vacuum seal it. - total of 1KG buds 840gram of nice fat ones + 160gram popcorn

It was a 8 day dry and cured for bout a month I was left with 1 oz dry wait. the aroma of the buds were a strong musty jet-fule and fermented fruit 🍉. Braking it down by hand left my fingers sticky and covered in triphones❄️ so I switched to the grinder . When smoking the inhale you get a sweet jet-fule taste with a hit of pineapple on the exhale 😮‍💨 it taste like a dank watermelon pineapple smoothie. I role my self a gram maybe a lil more but the first couple hits really hit the chest and left me with a energetic head high but half way through the joint It was a relaxing full body high that left me feeling like I was floating through time. Is this girl and really want to grow her again.

The banner is looking like it's namesake. Big, green and mean. She is super dense and has colas almost as long as she is. She is fattening up. She is giving the Gelato a run for its money when it comes to bud size.

Die meisten sehen relativ gesund aus, außer der große hintere. Dieser ist so extrem gestretscht, dass ich die lampe nun nicht mehr weiter weghängen kann. Ich habe die Stränge hinten noch mehr runter gebunden. Da die Pflanze etwas verkümmertes Budwachstum zeigt. Ausserdem bis jetzt die einzige Pflanze mit lila Stamm, vermutlich wegen Lichtintensität. Die restlichen entwickeln sich dann doch recht gut.

Der wuchs wird immer schneller! Das freut mich Ich glaube das es an der scheiß Anzucht Erde lag das #1 sehr langsam im wuchs war. Die #2 hat diese Probleme nicht und nach dem umtopfen auf 17L Töpfe zeigen beide das sie die neue Erde lieben. Ich Liebs auch ! Die nächsten Wochen werden erstmal langweilig da ich erstmal nur hoch wachsen lassen möchte bevor ich irgendwas dran mache.

So far the autopots are doing their job. Havent manually watered the plants over a week and they are just blowing up with growth... Been keeping track of how much water the system has been using .. and just over a week they used about 4gallons of water .. My nutrients are still the same , nothing changes in the veg state ..Topped last week and Started LTS this week and plants are looking great .. I might veg for 1 or 2 more weeks

Big Shoutout to @Dynomyco for picking me in their contest. Happy to be involved and as a user of Dynomyco I am curious to see this side by side with my own eyes. I will be honest I am a little skeptical it will show any major differences. but we will see what happens. Some disclaimers, I am still using LABS serum I made as well as MIIM Miicrobial Mass. These are also beneficial to the root mass however they are bacteria based and not fungal or mycorrhizae like Dynomyco. https://growdiaries.com/giveaways/DYNOMYCO_Show_Us_What_You_Got I was going to use my own clones I made from the g13 labs grows I just finished but released I had used a Dynomyco in the medium when I was rooting them for a extra strong start. So to fix this little error I went out and purchased two Cherry Pie clones from a local grey market dispensary. I joked Dynomyco will cover the cost and yet to hear back from them lol. I have inoculated one clones rootball and the transplant medium with Dynomyco, the other clone and its medium got no Dynomyco. The Dynomyco Clone is on the left in photos, it's also the only pot with a mini glass thermometer. I did this exact thing in my Dr Seeds Granddaddy Purple Diary vs 60day wonder. I don't expect it to count as an entry but more of a 2nd side by side on two different strains. GDP vs 60DW. Hopefully I will get some stickers in my package and can label the pots as such. I used my own personal stash of Dynomyco as I have not been shipped the contest materials yet but the clones where good to go an I wanted to get this beast on the way. The plants will be grown outdoors and transplanted at min 2 times max 3 times. Nursery pot to 1Gal, "this weekly entry" 1Gal to 2Gal, "3-4 weeks away" and finally 2Gal to 3Gal maybe. "6-8 weeks away" This week 1 entry is the first transplant from nursery pot to 1Gal, I have sheltered them inside for the first few days as we got heavy rainfalls and I did not what that to be to much of a shock for them, they are in my Spider Farmer tent under 24/0 lighting with the SF1000 @60%, they should be good to make their way outside tomorrow if the weathers good. I have noticed I have a lot of outside light interference on my balcony with all the safety lights in the surrounding areas buildings. I am going to try and LST these plants to keep them low and below my balconies wall to avoid excess light pollution. about 3 feet high.

Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (Lime/yellowing) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. Vuja de is the reverse—we face something familiar, but we see it with a fresh perspective that enables us to gain new insights into old problems. Confidence is evidence... nothing more. Esta es una genética de un olor muy fuerte y pesado se siente intenso desde la vegetación , es una variedad muy resinosa con unos colores morados hermosos , probando las flores cuando terminó el secado y ahora curando las flores se siente un sabor terroso , al principio no me gusto ya que nunca había probado este , pero después al seguir fumando se siente un sabor final muy agradable. Esta genética se conservará para futuros cruces y experimentar algo nuevo. muy conforme con la producción de cada clon

Provedl jsem extrémní defoliaci své jungle. odebral jsem téměř všechny trochu větší listy pro snížení vlhkosti, lepší proudění vzduchu. Světlo nyní svítí na všechny květy. Bohužel jsem narazil na nějaké škůdce které jsem před defoliací objevit nemohl . Většina napadených listů byla odstraněna a zbytek jsem postříkal vývarem z tabáku.
