I did her second tie-down on day 22 actually. Day 24- I’m okay with the fan leaf laying on the surface for *now.* Just because I live in a high, dry desert with a consistent RH at around 20-25%. And also, because the top quarter inch of soil is dry. However I will probably be propping it up with something tomorrow morning. Day 25- finally I decided to fold down the rim of the pot for more light!

So I had a little less nutrient last week then i needed. Def a calcium deficiency. I think it's clearing up but this plant has spot all over it. I changed the water, gave it the right amount of nutrients and a little exra hydrated lime for calcium. Hydro is hard. I hoping It's not sick. I hope It doesn't get the other plants sick. Just a few weeks left.

G13 is starting to stack. She is growing good in the Athena blended line nutrition, under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. I am running a little strong on my solution mix. I will likely do a change in next few days if it keeps showing me signs of too much. It does look like it is getting better though. The plant is just getting bigger, and using it. Nothing else to report this week. Unfortunately, all three are yellowing, showing signs of deficiency already. I'll continue to monitor them for any changes. I think the cause was they were in their peat pellets getting straight water, then when transplanted into their 5g pots which were pre-moistened with straight well water that was ph'd to 6.2 but had zero nutrients. They have now received one feeding and will get another in 2-3 days which I hope will help to bring their color back. 10/10- All three Tropicana Cookies are still not where I'd like them to be. I'll give them another feed tomorrow and see if that helps. They are so small and young at this point that I don't want to feed more often until I know that their roots are developed a bit more. 10/12- Today I fed the girls with a 10min. fill cycle, during which I monitored the moisture level of the medium via a soil hydrometer, then drained the system. 10/14- There goes the first week for the Tropicana Cookies and honestly, it could have been better. With this being my first attempt at 'Hydro' I fully expected to have a few hiccups along the way and this is just one of those that I will learn from and move forward! This time I got bunch of photos for you. As I’ve wrote before, I do some LST with NYC. It’s slow process but I see progress. I tried to ties with garden canopy lane without harming my baby’s little colas. This my first time growing. I assume that you know this nice feeling of caring about your first grow. No problems yet, growing good. Transplanted other 2. I ran out of soil so I topped off the gelato with pellets. Starting low stress training on purple kush 1 and 2, will be topping pk 3, and maybe try and fim gelato after I read more about it. Maybe I should top it first.

Jack Herer auto is on her way out. She has gotten switched to just ph water a few days ago. The next update will ge her harvest in about a week, and a half. She is looking really good and frosty. Good aroma, and nice plant or a 100 watt grow. I should easily get a gram a watt if not 2. She grew great in the Athena blended line nutrition. Everything is looking awesome. So far this has been a interesting grow. The plant naturally split on its tops to make 2. So a interesting mutation for sure. I trimmed out around base so I can water easier. Not a lot of room to work with all the leaves in the way. Been doing my video, and pictures each week for the tiny Potter contest. I have increased her feed and ph. Working on raising it to 6.0. She should start stretching soon. Curious to how big she will get. I don't plan to do any real training. Gonna let her do her thing. Try to keep her happy. Lots of stretching and growth. Tropicanna Poison F1 is definitely outgrowing the other 3 strains. It has dark purple hues with a chocolate blueberry aroma. I'd totally keep this pheno if I had the space.
