Third week is starting well, as you can see in the video and on pictures, the stems are strong and the seedlings didn’t go looney for the light like magic beans after being under the "wind" ... (the tip is free bro hit the like button and you won’t get Jack magic beans anymore 😄👍) Still lifting the pots, they are becoming light, I will certainly water them this week. Beginning is so awesome, there’s nothing to do except keeping the light at the right distance and lifting the pots 😄 [Day 18] Readjusting the pots under the light to make sure the plants don’t start to cover each other. Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. The girls have blown up with their flower stretch. Despite the good growth, all the buds are still staying tight, and should be some decent nugs. I’m glad they got some reasonable growth before the flower Change happened, there could be as many as 5 more weeks of flower left for these buds to fatten up 😎 Added some more Clyde to the feeding regiment. They seem to be doing well, but could probably use a bit more phosphorus and potassium, but are showing leaf burn… I’ll keep an eye on that. RH was brought down to between 54-56 %, and temps are steady between 77-79 degrees at lights on, and 69-70 degrees lights off. I continued with some LST of bending the top down and tying to the pot. They responded well. I don’t want to do a whole lot, just try to keep the canopy semi even. No defoliation yet, possibly next week. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

And this is it! The last week! 😲 And an early update as well! 😁 This is the last video and last photos of my girls before they were chopped and I'm quite happy right now! Almost everything went how I planned it, which is great 💪 I lowered the lights (5cm) and I did a good chunk of defoliation to allow more light penetration which I believe totally helped! Some of the branches got a lot of weight and could barely hold themselves (good thing they didn't break!) I also think that I should've chopped my girls last week because I got way more amber trichomes than what I originally wanted 😝 but eh, I got more weight in exchange! 😆 Oh, I also gave my girls some ice cold water! Hoping to get some extra purple! There are a lot of stuff this week, so please let me know what you all think about them! :D See you all in the next and final update! 👋
