Alright let's do this !! The seeds were soaked for a few hours in a KNF seed soak, and placed in paper towel. Looks like there are twins in there. Separated them and will try to grow the smallest one. When germinated they moved into a jiffy and eventually in their final pot once roots poked through the jiffy. The final pots are 40L of different soil mix. One is a very good commercial mix and the other is my own mix. Seeds really isn't my strong suit so they always tend to struggle a bit until well established.

Plants looking good, stretching 2-3 cm a day now. As mentioned last week, did increase the EC slightly, same ratio, keeping this for the next ~8 days, until stretch slows done and buds start to grow in size. DLI now at 31 will raise it to ~35 in the next 8 days. Last day of this week, removed all leafs below the ScrOG net, set LED to 80% and DLI to 42. Changed fertilization frequency to 5 times per day.

Good amounts of bud swelling going on. I'm going to switch them all from Big bud to Overdrive soon. Quality on these buds are very good. Very good genetics. Looking to harvest sooner rather then later because humidity is 50-70%... I normally have good judgment and harvest right when they are ready and avoid mold/rot. I just have to be careful. After this grow I'm shutting down this grow room for a short time for upgrades to fix my humidity/temperature issues once and for all. I did not expect winter to bring condensation in here room like this. P1 Her buds are still pretty young. I adjusted my lights around so now she has more light. She should swell up nicely in the next week or 2. I did drop a LED light while moving lights and snapped 2 branches a few days ago. Shes fine tho. P2 This girl is a fast finisher. She buds are ripening up very fast. I'm thinking she will come down on day 65-70. She smells so freaking incredible tho...mmm cant wait. I switched her from Big bud to Overdrive on day 56. 2/18: 4 weeks since we planted them. Some of the new nodes since topping are starting to come in. Also finally got to doing some lst. First time, so I didn't rlly know what I was doing all that much, but my main goal was to pull branches outward and have more light reaching all the nodes. I should definitely have topped and done LST earlier, but oh well, now I know for next time. I also removed some of the new fan leaves that were covering the new nodes. My roommate wanted to experiment with the smallest one so removed some of its big fan leaves. I don't really think that was the right call, but whatever we'll see what happens. Would also have loved to try mainlining but its also pretty late for that. It would have slowed down veg quite a bit too, and since we have to go home from college in early may, they have to be harvested by then. Gonna water later this afternoon as well.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

📆 WEEK 13 🌱 Plants: The indica-looking pheno (the one on the far right) has a sweet kushy smell. The middle plant has the classic RuntZ aroma, and the plant on the far left has a distinct Gelato smell. Honestly, I wish I’d kept a clone of the one on the left instead of the indica-leaning one, but that’s just how it goes - I chose the one with better root growth, and how that’s translating to buds and flavor will be revealed soon. The one on the far left smells like a clean Dairy Queen cooler, flat Z terps, just a really clean scent. It’s wild that they all started with a rotten-lemon smell and evolved into such different profiles. Typical F1 generation behavior. 💧 Hydroponics: Full solution swap today: water came in at 6.6 pH and (yikes) 0.4 EC. Added 5 mL pH down and 8 gallons of Heavy 16 Flush Week to the 8 gallons of water (this is the one time I stick to the manufacturer schedule). Enviornment: Lights are all the way up; the tent thrives best when I can manually breathe it, otherwise it starts messing with its own humidity and CO2 levels. ⚙️ Equipment: I temporarily lost access to my online drive with the feeding schedule spreadsheet, which is way easier to digest than manually calculating feed per gallon and how many gallons I actually used (since I never feed full-strength manufacturer nutrients). This week was simple though - the buds are deep into swell, so I’ve started flushing. ⏳ Timeline & Outlook: The flush will be swapped for pure water sometime this week while the tent’s lights are OFF, which I think is a critical step. If we’re still pulling salts after the pure water flush, I’ll swap it out for fresh water based on the nighttime readings. On 4/4, I’ll swap the solution to water only at night. Then on 4/7, I’ll swap the water flush for a fresh water flush at night. The target harvest date is 4/14, depending on how the flush is going and how the foliage burn is progressing, though this could shift by a few days.

Day 105 - Week 15 has arrived. We are getting close to harvest. So far everything looks spectacular and the colas are getting fatter. I will provide full nutrition for another week and then start flushing.

Well the last week the plant has started to show some amber trenchomes and as of today I'm seeing roughly 25% amber on the lower section of the plant. So today I start flushing. I know a lot of people say you don't have to flush but I disagree when it comes to hydro systems. Soil I get it trying to flush out all the nutrients is technically "impossible", I still do. But with hydro your plant has been directly absorbing the nutrients from the water with zero buffers like soil or coco and I find you can really taste it when you smoke it if you don't do a proper flush. I use the grotek final flush blueberry myself. The 500ml bottle I picked up a year ago when I did my blueberry has lasted a long time lol. My aerogarden grow box is going to be down for 2 weeks when this is done this grow. Got to make a few minor tweaks and then it'll be back up. Happy growing everyone
