Harvested them on 10/4, washed them and hung them to dry for 4 days, then alternated them in brown paper bags and big jars for a few days until perfect. Final thoughts: Like most sativas I've grown, those biggass colas were kinda fluffy and shrunk up pretty bad once dry, but it's super frosty, tasty, and smells delicious as well. It was very easy to grow, but a pain to trim...too leafy. No deficiencies at all with normal feed, and they bulked up really well in the last two weeks. They are thirsty girls because they have a lot of foliage. They can withstand being less than a foot from quantum boards for their final week or two without burning up too much. I don't like that it took this strain almost two weeks longer than the others, but a good sativa usually takes quite a while longer than these did. I have been blown away every at step with this plant, my first grow! I've grown before but not like this and that is why I refer to myself as a newbie or this being the first time. Dutch Passion was an obvious choice for me as they were the only legit seeds I ever had experience with many many years ago. Watching the Auto Orange develop "daily" and the scent getting more and more focused was a joy and even with a window on the tent I found myself opening it enough to get my head in and get a good back of the nose full creamy citrusy assault.

OK still on the fence about the 6/2 light schedule got to get more data before I submit💪 might have been unstable genes I will try again with some proven genetics. I'm noticing that some of the plans are growing at different rates and so the ones who are growing slower probably experience more trauma during transplant is my only guess. I've been reading more about the temperature of the water so I am focusing on that but the thermometer I got doesn't read the best so I'm going to get a new one here soon. For now I'm trying to stick between cool and lukewarm water to the touch.

Update of the garden

Week 1 Veg Day 1: Things look good. When bottom watering the seed tray I noticed the roots had grown through the bottom of the seed tray. Will decide what size to move up to and when to start taking the PH for watering / fertilizing. Need to grab more soil too, these babies are growing fast. Week 1 Veg Day 4: had a couple days of just watching and watering intermittently, but the time has come to repot these seedlings! I’d say we are into veg as we move into these new pots for both the autos and the photos in this grow. I know we don’t have to (slash shouldn’t) transplant auto’s… but I only have so much space and didn’t have enough soil when the seeds popped.. and didn’t really know whether living soil would be too hot to start autos in. Decided to move the kids to 2 gallon pots though, and will probably let the autos stay here and upgrade the photos in about a month. Should just be watering and watching for the next week. Moving some of the autos outside in 2/3 weeks, will start PH monitoring water asap, and will continue to look into fertilizer options.
