The culmination of reversing our Matterhorn cut off Mr. Crowley to Intergalactic Runtz, and the results were out of this world (I had to do it). These ladies were slow to start, but once they hit their stride, they put any worries we had to rest. Compact, short-framed, and robust. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

3/13/2024 - Day 15 Flower: Ran into some issues after the last watering. The newest leaves have some severe curling going on, and I've had a few leaves with some minor brown spotting. I'm not 100% sure what caused it, but narrowed it down to either TeaCo Super Tea, Recharge, or the foliar spray I did with Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I did the foliar at lights out, but maybe there was still some residue when the light came back on. Either way, I'm taking it easy on this watering. Gave them 4 gallons of 6.5 ph water mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Coconut Powder, and a half dose of Rootwise Bio-Catalyst and Yah-Whey. The curling does not seem ro be getting worse, so hopefully they will grow out of this. Also, they have started to slow on rhe stretching, which is good, because they are getting close to the light. 3/14/2023 - Day 16 Flower: So I've been looking at some of the more deformed leaves and I'm pretty sure the leaf curl and brown is from the Dr. Zymes. The leaves with issues appear to have a slight glossy residue to them. I'm guessing when the Dr. Zymes dried on the leaves, it had a reaction when the light came back on. Now that I'm into week 3 of flower, I plan to cut out any foliar sprays, so hopefully I'm right an the issue won't get worse. I had some seeds that I sprouted and forgot to use yesterday, so I made a 2 gallon Sprouted Seed Tea (SST) and added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos, and a half dose of Fermented Comfrey Extract and Fermented Peach Extract. 3/16/2023 - Day 18 Flower: plants are looking good. Flowers are starting to develop and I'm already seeing the beginning of some tricomes. Stretch appears to be just about done, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. The curling from last week has not gotten any worse. 3/17/2023 - Day 19 Flower: watered about 6 gallons of worm tea I brewed for about 24 hours. Added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, BuildASoil BuildABloom, and Rootwise Bio-Catalyst. Also, did some minor defoliation of some of the larger fan leaves blocking lower bud sights. Still need to do more, but I plan to spread it out over a few days. 3/18/2023 - Day 20 Flower: Cleaned them all up real good. Took off all the large fan leaves, except for the top two, and cut off basically anything on the lower half of the plant. May have gone a little higher than I would have liked, now that I'm seeing it done, but too late now. Normally, i only like to take off about 1/3, but i guess we will see what happens when the bottom half is stripped. Always learning around here, haha. Hopefully I should have very little popcorn buds.

well this lady has been a gem too work with , she really stretched out at flower growing from a rose into too a sun flower lol but not quiet as tall as her sister the cali snow , she has been no trouble at all so far no deficiency's at all , also her bud structure is forming nicely and again not too far behind the cali snow , but both plants have almost identical structures too each other until you rub your fingers on those sugar leaves and they tell you they are doing there own thing by the lush sent they leave you sniffing your fingers in delight , the cali snow has much more of a friuty smell than the GSC but they both smell delicious thats for sure

This was a brilliant plant, it kinda stunted a little bit, but that was my fault. It was so beautiful during flower, and the smell is not like weed at all, but more like juicy fruit chewing gum. Amazing and smooth to smoke as well.

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. First full week in 1 gallon pots. They will need to be topped soon, most likely between this weekend and early next week before update. After the light goes off, I've been foliar feeding with a fine mist of 1:4 dilution of my usual hydro vegetative solution: 3.5 grams of General Hydroponics MaxiGrow, 3mL of Botanicare Cal/Mag, 4mL of Botanicare Hydroguard per gallon. adjusted using General Hydroponics pH down. Solution is stored in an aerated bucket. Will be moving to a 1:1 dilution.

Spider farmer light still going strong after 2 years and my cheap ass iropro 250w light off amazon (90quid) seams to be alright for the space i have, i switched to hesi nutrients towards the end of this crop as i ran out and found it ideal that every i need is inside the hesi starter box, ill be interested to see the results in the next crop, so please follow for more diaries.
