Things are going well.

Week 2 of flower 👍🏾

Great week this week, inside the tent and out. Carl 2 is doing great, and has mostly acclimatized to the winds and heat of the outdoors. UKBS 2 is seemingly recovering (knock on wood) from whatever was degenerating it's stem. It must have been mold or something similar as about 1/3 of the stem became dead wood and had to be removed carefully. I've been trawling the internet and all sources of horticultural forums I possibly can, and yielded somewhat inconclusive results. Everything from ants, to mold, to stem borers. None of which seemed to have been the case here. In any case, I took a whole ton of cuttings from UKBS 2 and am attempting to root them. Great genetics, and not to sound like a broken record but I'd hate to lose such a vigorous pheno. =-= Inside the tent, things are also going quite well. UKBS 1 is getting quite chunky, seems to be an interesting pheno. As for Carl 1, oh boy. I came to find out that this strain is a real interesting one. According to the breeder, it's a cross of C99 grapefruit x "D" Haze; pheno hunted and backcrossed in the 90s and stabilized over nearly 30 years. Loooooooong flowering times. In other news, the timelapse is out as well. Updates as usual. -6/3/2021 - Busted out the Rebel T5 and took some real nice budshots. Carl 1 is quite frosty, UKBS 1 is quite chunky. Also got a cool upskirt shot. -6/8/2021 - First orange pistils showing for Carl 1, looking real good. The clones of UKBS 2 are all doing well apart from one of them.

Looking strong for the 2nd week. Looking at repotting this baby this week.

The final day of week 10 already! The buds are still getting fatter, the trichome development is still on it's way. I will check the trichomes twice a week and im waiting for around 10% amber. Nutrients and EC is lowered again this week, harvest is around the corner im sure of it! Hot summers are rough here, airconditioning is trying to keep the temps down. I quite like the phenotype. It has quite some node space making for an easier trim. Also the amount of calyxes is huge and the density to it is super compact as well. Fade is really starting to show and leaves are starting to fade.

The plant developed an excellent structure with well-spaced branches and very good light penetration, resulting in evenly matured buds. The flush clearly paid off, as the aroma intensified significantly toward harvest and the flowers developed a clean, strong terpene profile. Bud density is impressive, with tight, heavy flowers showing great resin coverage and a visually striking finish.

Gave it its first nitrogen feeding t a week ago

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

Pretty much all the colas are foxtailing. I also just found out my landlord is selling the property and there are a bunch of people coming through for various reasons over the next few weeks. I just gave the last feeding, next week will be just water.

Do not pay attention to the temperature on the thermometer in the middle, it lies by a couple of degrees. I have a good thermometer on top of the box that shows the temperature. Day 29: After a terrible fracture, we see that the plant is beginning to recover. I'm honestly disappointed because it makes it very difficult for me to train mainlining and it will also increase the amount of time it takes to grow. Day 30: It looks much better already, I could superprune the right branch, but I don't want to stress it. I will try to bend the right branch harder, I will bend the left one a little in the morning the next day, maybe early. Day 31: This morning I cut the lower leaves, photo in the evening and continued the LST training after the injury. Photo in the evening. Day 32: I am completely sure that the plant has moved away from the stress, but we can see on the left circle, the right bud (and side) slowed growth. Day 34: I saw traces of salt on the tips of the new leaves, so now I pour water with regular 15 PPM.

Out of the 4 seeds only the gnarly taproot made it successfully. It is growing visually more and more everyday and soon I will investigate other two seeds that didn’t germinate and make this a one plant operation.

09/07 - Reveg still in process - Mother plant in recover from clone clipping - unhealthy clones disposed - cutting new clones this week - Myco and Superthrive feed increased - Net dropped an LST. 09/10 - Mother reset in motion - clones are healthy and rooting effectively - humidity 89% at 18 hrs.

Leave are still droopy, oh well she says been like that since day 1 but is clear contender in front of the Cheese started same time. Nice bushy structure just like in the 1960-70s👍😂

Very terpy smell, strong and very citric like a pure lemon, very lemony smell basically, nothing crazy but it's very nice, she's producing a lot of resin, you can see she's a good autoflower, not the bets I've grown but it's nice to have something to Harvey's fast. 100% organic grown

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Day 45: just a quick vid. Been busy soz for posting so little. Day 46: Buds are densing up and mutant is doing mutant things. Lightburn is an issue Day 47: today i tried to fix the mutant problem. Its growing wayy to big for my small 180cm tall tent. Broke one of my light hangers when i tried to tighten it😑 also did some lst but i think the battle might be Lost on this one. Any advice is taken! Other than that, #1 n #2 are doing pretty well. Buds are densing but not at the rate i would want. Might be Bcos my light only draws 200w from wall. Day 48: these ladies are getting frosty swear to god if my light doesnt pull enough watts to dense the nugs, im callbombing spiderfarm till i get new light🌚
