🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. Buds are coming along nicely, they started off with a not so appealing smell but eventually started to smell very sweet. Increased dosage for increased blooming and ripening. Missed update for day 49 but vids from previous day makes up for it. Side note, I created a homemade Co2 bag with ingredients that is easily available and affordable. I don't think I let is have an effect on my buds but it sure did smell awful. After the 5th day, I got rid of it.

This was an easy cycle with some average problems, dealt with the gnats by topping the soil. anyway it was a plant that was easy to grow, a very pleasant non weedy smell around. and was ready within 70 days, i left it a couple of days more till first amber trichomes The most strains taste far better after curing, with this one i don't agree with that rule. This strain actually tastes better when it's fresh. The curing brings back more of the kush, and makes the smoke stronger, but the taste of fresh dried sugar kush is close to undescribeable.

In this week, i defoliated most of the (very) sick leaves on both plants. Afghan Kush is really bushy, Blueberry not so much, she skinny. Both smell absolutely great. Both continue to sweel and grow. We are now, same as in the BPP diary, in what i call the "mostly boring" state. its nice to see the visual changes in the timelapse, but other than that, not much to do besides water them. Both have discontinued to show any new or lets say worse signs of any deficiencies, there are now some overfeeding signs but i rather have that then them trying to creep by. Watering reduced to 2.2L for each to account for them taking to long to dry out. Roots are STACKED, the soil is almost solid by them. Next grow will be in airpots since i also expect root issues here(ringroots or the like, maybe damage due to overwatering in like week 3/4). Timelapse i will add tomorrow. A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Germinated in paper towel and then in soil prepared 24 hours before just with water. I decided to do outdoor cause temperature now is good but i m not sure is going to be hot enough for all the month.

Hey, everyone. Sorry for the late update, but I didn't get my regular time to update my journals this week, so updates are coming sporadically. Anyways, as far as this lady is concerned, she couldn't be happier. She is just starting to really put off some buds and start her stretch. I'm not sure how long she will stretch for, but I've got my eye on the lights, to keep them in optimal range. Also, in preparation for the stretch, I went ahead and bumped her up to 75% strength nutes (with 100% secondary additives, like Pro-TeKt and Dyna-Zyme) which puts her right around 900ppm and 5.9pH. This Amnesia XXL Auto has a heavy haze lineage and I can already smell it in her. I'm excited to see what this lady will yield since she is really starting to stack up during the start of the stretch. 11/22 - Uploaded new canopy shots (48 hours after bumping ppms). 2/17 Day 22: Sorry for missing Week 2 on here guys got kinda busy here lately and haven't had the chance to update as much. Week 2 was a breeze no issues so far what so ever.. Now moving on to this week and she is definitely moving right along. She is staying short but the side branches are stretching out nicely. I have started the LST and she has taken well to it already. Her trunk has gotten very thick very fast which is always a good sign 👌 👏 👍. Will be updating again here soon stay posted guys.🔥

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. We have successfully made it through week 5. The Runtz genetics continue to show strong growth—this plant literally grows before your eyes every day. As soon as some shoots are removed, the plant starts developing even more vigorously. The only one that seems a bit neglected is the third plant in the last row. This week, I’ll try to weave the main shoots into the net more effectively. I suspect that due to the varying plant sizes, it’s not getting enough light. None of the three plants have shown any pistils yet, which I personally think is a good sign, as it allows them to focus on growing in height and width first. There are still slight mineral deficiencies visible in the leaves, but I am counteracting this by increasing fertilizer and using foliar spray.

Week 5 there was a lot of sun I watered it completely every 3-4 days
