2024-08-31 They may have stopped to stretch, iam not sure, but i think so, you can see how the buds are forming, and they are already purple, thats fun leaves are changing color thats the tribute to the last 2 days where it was very hot and sunny, and tehy needed lots drinks and the big growth costed some leaves too. but anyways, not a Problem at all the Girl in the garden has more yellow leaves. BREEDER INFORMATION The cross of Frisian Dew with DucksFoot created Frisian Duck. It has such name due its characteristic leaf shape that looks like a duck's traces. The plant has a good growth in greenhouses and outdoors and also indoors. The strain is easy to grow and suit for begginers. It is harvested at the start of October outdoor and after 8 weeks of flowering indoor. The plant reaches 1.5 m indoor or 2.5 m in height outdoor. It demonstrates purple colors during a blooming and looks like a christmas tree. Frisian Duck develops compact buds. The strain has spicy aromas and tastes of pine, citrus and fresh wood.

Hey everyone! It’s been another fabulous week of the girls fattening up getting ready for the ever looming harvest time! The colas are huge and glistening like a glitter ball! The back right girl has been on flush since day 51, 2 more went on flush on day 53, and the final girl front right went on flush today, day 56! Over the week I gave 3 girls a really heavy defoliation taking the majority of fan leaves off to allow good airflow and try fattening up those lower buds. It’s still impossible to tell if I prefer defoliation or not but we are getting close to harvest so should have a definitive answer to that soon! The back right girl has had absolutely no defoliation or trimming through her life cycle. I still regularly think back to when we broke one of the girls and transplanted, the cannabis gods were on our side warning us 4 girls will be huge, we were very lucky or would be seriously short of space as of now. As the girls are going to be harvested at slightly different times to ensure each are at their optimum, I have had to construct a dry box. How I built my smell free DIY dry box: Take a large cardboard box, cut an extraction hole in the top at one end and mount some ducting and seal the gap around the edge. Cut a flap in the opposite end at the bottom which will be the passive intake and promoting a draft through the hanging buds. Poke some holes in each end of the box using a screwdriver and thread some thin rope or string through the box tying the ends together once finished to give you sturdy locations to hang some pegs from. Finally I attached an extra bit of card on one of the flaps at the top; this overlaps the slight gap in the top between the flaps that could allow light to enter. Once completed I put the ducting into one of the lower intakes of the tent; the negative pressure in the tent then uses the air in the dry box as a passive intake creating a smell free area to dry your cannabis outside of your grow tent. This also keeps a slight breeze flowing through the box to ensure even drying. Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 11/14/2022: things are still progressing nicely. The super cropping from last week doesn't seem to have had any negative effects. All three plants are looking extremely healthy. Can really see the effects of the sprouted seed tea I fed them yesterday. The girls are preying today. The smell is really starting to amp up now. Can smell them with the tent shut and with the carbon filter running. 11/15/2022: due to some minor tip yellowing, most likely from the heavy feeding last week, I only watered with 6.5 ph water with some ThermX 70 and Fish Shit. 11/17/2022: all three are putting on weight. Watered 1.6 liters each, using the Fish Shit, coconut powder, and ThermX-70 at a 6.7 ph. 11/19/2022: top dressed all three plants with 1/4 cup Clackmas Coot Gnarly Barley, 1/4 cup BuildASoil Craft Blend, then added about an inch of fresh Colorodo Worm Company worm castings, and sprinkled about 1/4 cup of Kashi Blend. Then watered each plant with 1.6 liters of 6.6 ph water, with Bio-Phos, powdered coconut, and 1/4 teaspoon of BuildASoil Big 6, for the extra micronutrients. This should hopefully be more than enough to get the plants through the final weeks of flower. Avg. VPD:1.5 PPFD: 700 DLI: 45

Week 5 Day 30 Ladys are happy and beginning to stretch, I think trainwreck gonna be the tallest. Cinderella Jack still vegginng, but I think next week she gonna flower. Blue Dream started to flower too, but the broken mainstem stunted her bad. The mainstem are smaller than the sidebranches. Lemon Zkittlez is the strongest till now, she's growed a perfect symmetry with good sidebranches,but we will see hows they're looking in the end. Updates coming 💪🏼 Day 32 Man these girls filling out the tent and they don't even stretched. 6 are definitely to much 😅 Day 33 Did a light defolation just some Future popcorn buds. I dont want to stress them so much cause they are in stretching phase. Trainwreck is the biggest and brightess from the 4 mains. The early LST showing right now. Orange Sherbet gonna be the first one to harvest again I think. She's starting to fill up the buds now. All of the lady's showing signs of stress at the tops. I backed up the lamp and dimmed her back to 60 %. This was Lightstress I think, cause the lady's recovered at the next day. Gonna bring the lamp to 100% at week 2-3 of flower. Day 35 Man the plant growed to big. I haven't enough space for them and they don't even finish. The humidity got a bit to high that's why I defolated all lady's. I hope that don't stunt them to much, cause they were to bushy. We will see how they develop at the end. The next run I gonna go for 4 lady's again.

day 42: LOTTA leaves, had to defoliate 2-3 times. they started to show their first pistils a couple days before the Ayahuascas, hope I can do a harvest before May,(the Peyotes) but it seems really tricky..unfortunately I need to leave them for a week in April. I'm pretty scared to leave them alone at the end of flowering... Day 43: do you think the leaves on 2 plants might be too dark green? Thanks! day 46: defoliating

will have to see but at 8 & 10 weeks, i think they look a little small. as long as i continue watering, this new maxsisun mf2000 should fatten these buds up. cant wait for next grow with the new light in 3x3 tent. this is becoming the best hobby i can recall next to working in my garden all summer. and this grow diary is great as you can have an honest review of progress etc...i have learned so much from this community. 2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from DinaFem seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Purps #1 is a feminized indica dominant strain with outstanding parents, high THC content and with very beautiful flowering. It is the result of crossing between Blueberry and PAK. The plant demonstrates purple and autumn-like colours and produces very intense fruity aromas during blooming. It develops a typically indica structure with wide leaves.
