As of now my photoperiod is from 1:30pm-1:30am but I might move this up to 12pm-12am so when I need to look at my plants I'm not waiting till the afternoon. Its really only an issue on the days I'm working. over all happy with the progress, Plants are drinking lots so I'm happy with that. Lights still running at 80% with V1 spectrum, will increase to 100% after stretch, don't need to growing into them and burning up. Hope yall had a good week! The girls sure did. Everyday I take a peek and do my daily watering and they're bigger than the day before. Upped the PPM's to ~400 this week, kept the pH at 6.0, and upped the Calmag. Also picked up "B-52" for some root health. Gonna use it on some other plants in the house as well (I grow veggies hydroponically year round). The plants are starting to give off an odor if you smell them up close, pretty neat. Work was a bitch this week so I missed one day of watering, flushed the plants and seems no damage done. Don't wanna make many mistakes like that but its bound to happen. Here's my boring daily notes for those interested. I’ve had to remove the humidifier to manage the RH. I also had to remove the carbon filter that lost its efficacy when I pumped the RH during seedling stage. QueStion. Which location in my 4x2 tent ? At canopy? Between canopy and light? Above light?

Been on Flush for a few days now. Trichomes looking really good milky with 10 percent amber. Day 66 HARVEST! She was a stretcher! The more sativa dominant pheno on this grow. She smells like lemon and lime. Which is almost just like Sprite. She will be in the dark for the next 48 hours before the Chop.

D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. . FIRST DAYS ------------- New week, new diet The girls are getting 3+3ml of Grow A+B, and still 2ml of Voodoo. Instead of 3 waterings of 1L, we are now doing 3 x 3L. One of the girls has some minor burns, so I am keeping a close eye on that. An excess of nutrients seems unlikely to me, but I will see in a few days after this increase. MIDWEEK ----------- It's probably not just the Voodoo, but my girls have grown a lot this week. I think they like this little juice 😉The root system still has some work to fill the 15L of coco, but things are going well. As for the small burns on the leaves, I think it's due to heat and/or wind stress: the temperature frequently rose to +35°C and the leaves were shaken by my fans, which were directed straight at them. I increased the speed of my filter and placed the fans facing the sides of the tent while increasing the air flow; we're back to an average of 30°C. To be continued. But most importantly, the girls have developed 4-5 nodes... so it's training time! 👍 I know what many people think about topping autos, but I disagree; it clearly has the advantage of giving the plant an airy structure that is easy to control and produces denser buds when combined with mainlining and light lollipopping. My goal: a 6-branch structure, which may eventually develop a few side branches. To achieve this, two toppings a week apart and some serious LST are needed. I'll try to film the whole process, training sess by training sess, and post the results here in a few weeks. End off week 11, concluding week 7 off flowering: Hi(gh) Guys! Thanks for viewing my weekly update (i hope again?)! The girls are doing great. I have to come back on a previous statement, i said that 3 girls are ahead of the rest and up for an early harvest, although that is both true, actually there straight on schedule, and i think the rest is behind. The manual on this strain says they need 9 weeks and flowering week 7 is now concluded. They start to gain weight all three and the stems are beginning to bend. This upcoming week they will get their last nutrients, but week 9 they will only get water, so i can flush properly for the upcoming week and a half. End of week 9 they will be terminated, because my vaporizer is idle for too long already! As for the rest, they will need at least 2 or 3 weeks longer, because everywhere i look i see loads of white hairs, and i’m seeing forward to show you some off my biggest nugs ever! This is my first time on this website and i’m having a lot of fun. Earlier i'd grow my best round ever with 9 Gorilla Glue #4 ladieboys, what nice buds did they produce. But i guess the OG is going to be at least as close. That’s good for me because this is my favorite strain. Please leave a comment, and like my post. My account needs a little more love! Both the gelato and the forbidden runtz have nice bushy structure as of now.. I may train them when they get a little bit older but as of now I will let them be and see how they veg out.
