I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.

Beautiful week for these purple ladies! The purple urkle has really took off and has fat colas forming whilst already piling on trichromes too! 🙏😌 the grape ape is a little smaller and fatter showing a big indica vibe to her so expecting a strong aroma and flavour and buzz when it comes to harvest 🙏 I can’t wait to see how these next weeks go as everything right now is perfect! Too late with the ph issues on the 1 plant... Not 1 issue with the second plant. Either way they are both gorgeous girls!!!

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 4 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance I. The past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had a stuck seed that was gently removed, and will be falling off the rest of the way shortly. May 16 day 3: Seedlings planted with their rapid rooters into coco filled seedling bags, and given first nutrients. They are remaining under humidity dome. I have also started running the drip emitters to test them and dial in the amount of runoff. It is also continuing to buffer the coco so the medium will be well prepared for my seedlings when the time comes. Day 4: the seedlings are doing well so far, so I will keep them domed for a few more inches of growth. Then I will switch to a humidifier to maintain acceptable RH.

Just started flowering. Don't expect too much regarding yield. Just hoping she can make some potent buds. She has been responding really well to the fish mix. I hope she continues to grow but I will only add biogrow as Nitrogen supplement. If I am not happy with the grow in the next 3 days I will ad 0,5mL per Litre Fish mix. Mulch added Day 47. I can already smell her if I put my nose against the newly formed flower.

Day 39 - Did a little defoliating today, I’m hoping it won’t stunt too much. Last two grows, I just let it go but seemed pretty crowded so want more light deeper. Day 40 - It appears the defoliation has really stunted her so will keep an eye on her. She’s starting to smell a bit fruity and I’m loving it. Day 41 - No major changes today, still looks and smells amazing. Day 42 - Looks and smells good still!

Day 50 - Starting week 8 now and getting more and more pistils so going to say this is the start of week 1 of flower. Didn’t really have to do much with her but she is starting to go through water pretty quick so upped the watering to a gallon and a half, along with nutes. I noticed a couple of leaves with a little calcium deficiency starting to added Cal-Mag to nute mixture. Day 51 - Everything is looking good with this girl and not much going on today. I removed a couple GIANT fan leaves and will continue removing some of the bigger ones every few days. Her canopy is almost perfectly even and looking like this will end up being a pretty decent harvest. Day 52 - Nothing much new today, this girl is getting pretty damn huge. Just really took her out to check if she needs water and got some updated pictures. She should be ready for some water and nutes tomorrow. Placed her back into the tent and tucked as much as I could to get all the sites getting lights. Day 53 - She’s been going through the water and nutes recently so I upped her from 1 gallon of water to 2 and gave her that with nutes today. She’s definitely starting her stretch and with her having a nice even canopy, this girl should end up being a beauty. Day 54 - Nothing much new today, just took her out for some updated pictures. Put her back into the tent and tucked as much as I could. I want to remove some fan leaves but she’s doing really good right now and I don’t want to stunt her in any way. Day 55 - She’s starting to take off and stretching big time. She added about 1.4 inches in about 24 hours or so and she’s really smelling sweet. Going through water like crazy too so will give her water and nutes tomorrow. Placed her back in the tent and did a bit of leaf tucking. Day 56 - The end of week 8 and the girl was thirsty today so gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes. Gonna let her soak that up for a bit and probably remove a couple big fan leaves tomorrow so she’ll be opened up a bit more.

Good morning, day 48 of flower and this will probably be the last update until I chop them. Getting boring for me so I’m sure it’s getting boring for you all! The girls just got plain water 2x last week- no need for anything else at this point as the fade has become quite serious. The smell has really increased along with the size and density of the buds, sometimes I get a candy shop smell and other times I get a tropical fruit scent! Trichs are roughly 50/50 clear and cloudy so I’ll just be checking once a day until I get a tad of amber! Thanks for reading

d.57 - looks alright, had to do some lst and adjustments to level out the height gave an additional biotab. move my big fan, below the plant, in an effort to push the moisture upwards and out, which resulted in me being able to raise the lights further up.. my plant is way over the average height of is genetics, thanks to biotabs 🌞. fastbuds said it would have an average height of 70-100 cm, and ny plant is closing in on the 80 cm and she keeps going ^^. and people say that autoflowers cant be main lined, well i believe this grow proves it. achieved darker folliage in the bottom, so i believe that we are on the right track. hopefully the deficiency levels out. day 62/63 gave an additional biotab so we are at 6 total. day 63 i gave 10 ml bio pk with the watering.
