Smooth week - final harvest. Plant 5 was a surprisingly quick trim :)

We are about on earth since a month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. The Black Runtz is a short lady like her normal colored little sister, with a low internodal distance. This characteristic greatly influences the application of growing techniques. In this case it is a plant that responds to topping a little slower than the others and it is best to wait for the branches to grow to avoid damaging the little ones. However, we are at 4 florets and between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will cut 8. My plan for photoperiod plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always pay attention not to damage the new branches growing. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly in shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I am a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping, my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil at the start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Remember that cold temperatures make the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer, so be careful to give the right amount and let the plant dry in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. She completed the first week of flowering happily and she keeps stretching. Trailers net added to level the canopies.

This week was a very easy one all that was involved was flushing. Flushing two separate times throughout the week involved tap water which was allowed to sit for 24 hours with air stones. Tap water was used first because the PPM of tap water is higher than RO water. Doing this avoids instant deprivation of food for plants, rather than cold turkeying them. As the last week arrives tap water will be replaced by RO water equating to 400PPM or less and given in abundance until PPM meter reads runoff at about the same 400PPM or less.

Still going well. She's getting a full dose nutrients now. Was not sure if she was suffering from potassium deficiency or burn, but now I'm confident it is a deficiency so I upped her feed. Hopefully this will slow down the shedding of leaves. She has 4 to 6 weeks left in flower so too early for total fade.

The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

Vegetativo 06-12-2024 al 12-12-2024 06-12-2024 Se muestra un crecimiento conciderable de la semana pasada a esta semana y se observa muy sana. 08-12-2024 Se realiza cambio de solucion nutritiva con parametros ajustados. 10-12-2024 Con el aumento de nutrientes se nota un crecimiento y mejora de las hojas cosiderable. 11-12-2024 Observo que unas hojas de reciente crecimiento muestran amarilles en los bordes, asi que opto por agregar mas agua al cubo ya que la planta esta chupando cada vez mas agua y nutrientes, Se nota en las hojas la transpiracion de la planta, y se coloca una red para empezar a entrenar las ramas de la planta y la exposicion a la luz entre hojas y ramas sea mayor, se aumenta la potencia de la lampara de 75% a 90%. 12-12-2024 Aplico una tecnica llamada lst aplaste los tallos un poco para que bajaran y la exposicion de la luz fuera mejor. Parametros Utilizados Temperatura del ambiente 23 C° Extraccion de aire 4 pulgadas Humedad 60% Potencia de la lampara 90% Ec Original 0.4 Ec Nutriente 2.4 Ph 6.0 Horas de Luz 18/6 VPD Range 1.2 kPa

So these Cream Cookies were really easy to grow! Almost too easy that I neglected them for a week or so and then found two of them covered in Aphids. We tried everything we could to save #1 & #2 but It was a battle that we eventual lost. They are in a bag in the freezer getting ready to be bubble hash. #3 to my awe and surprise has survived through thick and thin. Good and Bad. And will be my only smokeable "flower" from this run. That said I will run these again but inside in a controlled environment as it seems my FastBud Girls were prone to the aphids and caterpillars. Reguardless I'm super impressed with the structure and just look of the plant overall. Can't wait to smoke #3!!! The frozen bag of hash weighs in at 203g and includes the mutant #3 smoothie auto from my other diary which also was overrun with aphids. *Will update with dry numbers*

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Week 12 for Space Panda by Atlasseed, This one is a hard one for me because i love love her leaf structure/colour, yet her actual growing structure im not a fan of especially for mainlining as she gets barely any side growth. Hopefully after the stress of this last topping she will get her shit together😇😂 Because of the messed up light schedule + massive shifts of temps from 28+ to 6... outside the tent so really for 7 hours their growth is completely stunted, but I'm making due with what I have 😂

It's been 4 days since I've watered them and there you have it #BOOM I can say at this point I'm excited on what's to come when I harvest this Gotti OG and Dtpg OG. This was a indoor veg and outdoor flower, these been outside since July 26 and has adapted to the outside like it's there natural habitat lol. There has not been any deficiency in there grow nor there leaves, I've been patient with a pattern water/feed scheduling every other day.
