Transplanted to 40l container on week 4 day 1. Container has approx 30l in it. Also added a photo of the setup for size reference. Let me explain my thinking behind the repotting strategy. Firstly I should say that I am quite an old school kind of grower, although I've never grown cannabis before I have grown hundreds of other plants. Due to my experience with other plants, I understand the value of well planned and executed transplants, they can have an absolutely transformative effect upon root systems when done properly, as far as I know it's the main reason why they are done at all. It is fair to say I have never grown any auto-flowering plant indoors before, and I have read all about how you should not transplant autos, and all the good reasons why not. Ultimately though, as I am not called UnorthadoxDude for nothing, I believe that I can make it work with an auto, and get the benefit of improved root growth pattern, without delaying or interrupting the growth. I want to have my cake and eat it, as it were. So the strategy is to avoid transplant shock, which admittedly I have already failed in the first unplanned transplant, but in my hopeful naivety I still believe I can make the second one work! I'm using coco, and I have had the larger pot prepared and have been watering and feeding them as well as the plant. If I am careful not to disturb the plant at all, and move the entire contents of the pot gently into the larger pot (which is exactly the same medium in broadly the same state), then I may be able to avoid shocking the plant and just let it crack on. We will find out in a few days! If it stops growing or slows at all then I failed, otherwise it worked! A note about my use of organic nutes with coco. I have read a lot about coco and nutes and microbes and PH and TDS and what have you, and I know that the overwhelming majority of people believe that you can't or at least shouldn't use organic nutes with coco. The thing is, I like organic gardening, I prefer to cultivate a beneficial microbiota and keep it healthy. I recycle, and reuse all my compost except where a plant is diseased and this has worked well for me for a long time. I've never grown with coco before though, I always used soil. I wanted to gain the benefits of coco (better drainage, more air to roots, lighter, less inviting to pests, etc) - but I wanted to use a method of nutrition that I was already familiar with. I think I've mentioned that I am not called UnorthadoxDude for nothing, so I am using BioBizz and coco. By adding bacterial, mycorrhizal, and trichoderma inoculants and having the unplanted coco in the tent being fed and watered I hope to have cultivated a nice microbiota which will feed my plant. That's the theory. However just in case, I have a trick up my sleeve. Now, I do not know if you are aware of this, but there is a fiery debate raging on the internet about using BioBizz organic nutes with coco for cannabis. Some people try it, most people shout it down, and I have not found much in the way of solid evidence of it being a good idea. Except one! I found a commercial grower that has used biobizz nutes, and he said that as long as you are using "Acti-Vera" you can use anything from the BioBizz organic range. Apparently the enzymes in the mix break down nutes chemically in a similar way to what the theoretically missing microbes do. So I have ordered a bottle of that, and if my microbial cultivation attempts don't work out, I at least know I have a fallback that should work. Those are my thoughts on it, let's see how it pans out. Oh I should also probably point out that I am growing some companion plants, specifically alfalfa (nitrogen fixing), basil (improved flavour), and German Chamomile (increased essential oil production). Update week 4 day 2 dropped PH to 5.8 after advice from a grow question. Look! It's carried on growing... maybe there was no transplant shock? Update week 4 day 3: Growth continues, interveinal chlorosis lessening. Plant is pushing out node five at the moment. Update week 4 day 4: Growth continues, interveinal chlorosis further lessening. Apologies for the poor quality photos for the last few days, I was lazy and didn't want to move everything out to photograph. Today I have done that and the pic is better. I am declaring the second transplant a complete success. I do not believe that plant was in any way shocked. Update week 4 say 5: I think I've finally managed to overwater. Going to skip watering today. Update week 4 day 6: Photo taken just before lights on hence wilting. Growth continues to accelerate. I believe the alfalfa has been raising the PH so I've removed it. Today I will flush through with PH lowered water and then fertigate. The colour is still too pale but the growth and overall look and feel of the plant screams to me that it's happy and about to explode. Day 27.5 flushed with 30l of PH lowered water then fertigated with 5l. Day 28: Height 12cm Width: 28cm Nodes: 6 Weekly growth data: From 5cm Height to 12cm +140% From 12cm Width to 28cm +133% From 4 primary nodes to 6 +50% Summary: Wow, wow. Wow. What else can I say. What a crazy week, amazing and unexpected given the problems. I am really excited to see what happens over the next seven days!! It looks like it has quite severe chlorosis, but otherwise seems robust and is seriously stretching. Almost unbelievable growth. Pre-flowers appeared a few days ago, so I guess this was the final week of veg. Let's see how the first week of flowering stretch goes! Update 7/2/23: My instincts about this plant on week 4 day 6 were absolutely correct, she was happy and, she was about to explode. Since my early attempts at transplanting, I practiced multiple times with Citronella (a photoperiod plant) and then I did it again with an auto (Polly) - this one went flawlessly and further demonstrates that you can transplant an auto without shocking it. Time will tell, because I can compare Polly to both Misty and Nesia both of whom were sown directly in their final pots.

Started LST and accidental HST. Lots of good growth fast now. This may not be a fail after all. Am trying some trial error experiments. ReCharge and GS Liquid Fish and Kelp have helped a ton and Rhino Skin has made for very strurdy stem/leaves that are pliable. Altho I stunted these due to (i think) high ph for a cpl weeks, some LST fun is just a must. This is just an experiment. :) I'll post a qwik vid. I’m about to lose it. Big progress both from the broken stem and the plant as a whole. I think though the accident was very stressful and it turn it into a hermie. Once the lovely community makes sure I got a hermie I will cut the balls off(no cap). Day 36, one day after the hermie incident.I cut the sacs of and keeping a really close eye on it.Like checking every hour on different lighting again and again. Main cola looks like neither full bounced back, nor losing the battle from the harm I did to her in the middle of the fifth week,the tape is still on. I'm anxious if I face a light stress till the full recovery of the stem. I can't LST thats for sure and I have an HPS lamp. I'm aware that my yields will not be the same as the true potencial of the strain but I'm sure the taste and high will be diffrent for me due to the work I'm putting in and the "stress" I'm going through. Day 37: No sight of sacs. Looks thirsty every day and sometimes I water twice.The soil is dry one the first cm.

Day 49 this guy turned into stretch monster. finally stopped 3 inchs from the light. added Calmag to the mix -growdots and recharge.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering listed in the grow conditions are averaged for the week. The pH listed in the grow conditions is the soil pH. Nutrients listed in that section are ml/gallon of soil. I didn't include water in grow conditions as it rained almost all week. I watered one time and listed in the daily updates. Day 1 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 and 3 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 #3 plant succumbed to her injuries, R.I.P 😥 Day 4 we had rain showers I'm the morning and throughout the day. The plants roots appear to have found the ferrous sulfate I added last week 💚 Day 5 we had rain in the early morning, drizzle and afternoon showers. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 2ml/gallon of soil. as I've only got about 25 gallons of soil. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 6 we had intermittent rain, drizzle, and mist throughout the day. There's a bug haunting plant #1. I can't find it, so most likely a cricket or grasshopper. It's beed feeding on this plant since day 5. Stakeout for the kill has begun. Good news on day 6. The ferrous sulfate has brought the soil pH down to 6.3. There's still a small phosphorus excess but these girls will grow into it. Day 7 we had rain all morning into the afternoon. Pots are soaked. The insect, I suspect to be a cricket, remains a pest. It ate more of #1 plant on evening of day 5. Despite the adversity these girls are growing. Plants doubled in height this week and overall the week has been a success.

Hello Diary. A pretty stressful week is behind us. It is now clear that the plants do not respond well. I suspect the lack of Cal-Mag. It's also possible that I put in too much BioBizz. Royal Haze # 1 is the most affected, I get Epsom salt and start watering them with only water and epsom salt. I am sad that this is what is happening right now, I hope to be able to recover them before the cycle is over. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12/12/2019. Day 43. Watering. After adjusting the pH to 6.3, I added epsom salt. One tablespoon per 3.5 liters of water. I usually water the plants in the evening, but today I watered them in the morning. 13/12/2019. Day 44. Watering. This time I watered in the evening, less than 48 hours since the last watering. I did the same thing as the day before. 15/12/2019. Day 46. Watering and taking photos. Today I watered the same as the two previous times. Adjust pH to 6.3 with BioBizz pH- and add epsom salt. I also measured the height of the plants and they may have grown 1 cm. 17/12/2019. Day 48. Watering. Today I only watered with pH regulated water. For now I don't see any changes to recover, I plan to go to a grow shop for some advice. 18/12/2019. Day 49. Photography. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All three plants have grown differently but they grow beautifully, the smell is strong, the flowers are filling well. I have to put them back in balance and everything will be great. Since Christmas is approaching and Grow Diaries has released a video contest, I have decided to celebrate my first grow diaries Christmas and made a video. I hope you will like it. had a lot of issues with my ph and overfeeding so i flushed her the last 2 weeks , overall im happy with the results. Not my best yield but it'll keep improving. She smells great citrus and lemon sense! 🙂

Well fuck me sideways, SBG may have been right. A noticeably large cola exists between these 2 test plants, and it looks to belong to non defo. ... I may have fucked up, but lets wait to find out!!!! Thanks for looking

She seems to be budding nicely. However in the past few days all her lower leaves are turning yellow. I know this plant is a heavy feeder and I thought I was feeding enough. She is not growing anymore, but she looks like she has a nitrogen deficiency. I do use the same water which has a low 6 ph. Today I gave her water with a 7.0 ph. Just to get her out the constant ph zone she has been in. 9/17 fed 15 MLS of foxfarm Tiger Bloom 9/19 fed 15 MLS of Tiger Bloom. 9/21 fed 4 tablespoons Foxfarm Big Bloom, 1/2 Teaspoon Foxfarm Beasti Bloom and 12 MLS of Foxfarm Grow Big. Per 2 gallons. Day 98 She has a lot of yellow lower leaves. So I hit her up with a little grow big. From what I read, she still needs some nitrogen. Lower leaves turning yellow. Think it's a little too early for that. She is a big eater and it looks like she has not been getting enough base nutrients. Her pot is very heavy, so now I'm going to hold back water until she drys a little. Getting cold out at night. Every morning I go out and she was drenched in dew. This plant I'm counting on giving me bud until at least spring. So now I have been sneaking her in the garage at night with 47 percent humidity. She seems to be very happy about this. Right now 9 pm 60 degrees, humidity 71. Humidity is way too high for her to be sitting outside. Her buds are fattening up. Some time last week I gave her a feeding of just Foxfarm Beasti Bloom. Beasti has no nitrogen and she was not happy about that. A lot of lower leaves turned yellow. So I gave her Foxfarm Tiger Bloom and that seemed to make her happy again. Will not make that mistake again.

Not a bad week. Left unattended with nutrient feed. One got slightly over watered ,so I removed water line for a day or two to let it dry down. PH perfect nutrients really make it easy to have a low maintenance grow. Going to let them be for another week while I decided if I want to top or just tie down. Will update pictures and such as the week progresses.

This week we will see the colas and buds really dense up. We are about 2 weeks away from harvest now. Next week I will start my flush.

Still some issues with black flies as they keep coming back despite of the nematodes. I'll treat the soil with nematodes again this week. It doesn't look like it is affecting the plants anymore but I don't want them ending up in my stash 😉. The plants are looking very strong and healthy, growing even faster than last week. Still not sure at this point if I want to do LST or just let them grow. According to the strain info this ladies can grow up to 135cm inside so it's probably a good idea to do LST at some point. I'm also cutting back on the Alga Grow this week to prevent excess nitrogen in the blooming stage.
