Day 57 total (for plant 1) Day 8 of flower (for both) 2020-06-28 New week, changed the nutrients from 1000 to 800 ppm because I kept having to dilute with CaliMagic water last week. I tried jumping up the nutrients too quickly. No burn but the nutrient intake wasn't nearly as fast as the water intake. Pre-flowers are coming out all over :) 2020-06-28 Plant is still drinking far more than its taking in with nutrients. You really have to drop them a bit when you go into flowering because they start guzzling... Trying to keep them around EC=1.6 but I might have to go down to 1.4. Regardless, they are clearly happy and growing like crazy. Flowers are starting to emerge at the beginning of week 2 of flowering. I think that's a good sign. I continue to have to defoliate, especially plant 2! It's making these huge fan leaves every day. 2020-07-01 I typically have to top up Plant 01 every other day with water, so thirsty and growing so quickly, I wish it would stop.... I am posting an image of what I think is springtails. Gonna ask a grower question about it. 2020-07-04 Springtails don't seem to be hurting much. Tested and they seem to be fairly resistant to bleach AND hydrogen peroxide... They also seem to eat their dead very quickly and they congregate in clumps. They are bizarre to watch. Seem to have gotten a bit of nutrient burn on plant 2. I've kept the nutrients about 1650 but the ppm in the water keep going up because of the water usage. I keep diluting it down over the course of the week and it seems to be working.

This little lady has grown so fast I haven’t even had the chance to take pictures. All try my best to keep up on her. Have her a nice bend or low stress training see how she goes.

Long time extractor, first time growing (both s/o and myself). Already starting the next grow. This was one plant/pheno in a 4x4 sharing a 600w light @ 75% or less the entire time. Only tracking ONE PLANT this harvest but for reference - we pulled just over a lb dry weight total from all 4. End dry weight - Buds: 104 grams - Sugar Trim - 35 grams End flower rosin - 14.5 grams (1st press) - 1.2 grams (2nd press) [Press 96 grams] ~15% yield (not great but expected from autoflower) Chopped a little earlier than desired (10/70/20 amber/cloudy/clear profile) due to a scare of a nanner. Being new growers, we recently learned we could have plucked the nanner off and let it flower another couple weeks. Dried branches at 65-70f/55-60rh for 7 days then stored in grove bags until pressed in 37u micron bag, ~180f, 2.5min.

She is definitely the more bushy of the two, and flowering is filling in nicely. All is well, easy growing 😎

This week the time had come, the plants were chopped down. They were left to dry for almost exactly 7 days, a little too long as it turned out. One head bud had to be removed due to the risk of mold. All in all, the harvest turned out to be smaller, certainly also due to the fact that I could only grow three plants on 50x50cm in their vegetative stage to a limited size at the beginning.

DIe Sonnensegel entferne ich auch fortlaufend :)

I hung all the branches upside down in the closet. Thanks to the help of an air conditioner I keep the temperature at 23C and the humidity at 50%. When after a bending the branches will break (prematurely bend) then the drying will be complete and the tanning phase will begin. Initially I had problems with Ca and Mg deficiency, in fact the plant has grown less than the other, but I am still satisfied with the result. I usually don't weight buds when they are wet because it's just a waste of time. When they are dry I will update the diary with the precise weight. PS the same day I harvested my country rejected the decriminalization of cultivation of weed (referendum of popular origin). Smells like fruity pebbles! She is flowering really strong, the flower stacker from Humboldt's is super legit and she is still producing new flowers. Chunky fruity smelling buds. The pollinated branch is great, pulled handful of seeds and they look great. Super excited for the super sativa mix of Jack Herer X Durban Poison. Flushing and will harvest her next weekend probably. Day 71 (August 26th): Watered the ladies again today, everything is still looking great. Pheno 1 is starting to get yellow leaves, still diagnosing the issue. Day 73: The soil is drying out super fast. The roots are coming up through the soil now. These girls are root bound for sure. Next grow will be 20 gallon pots for sure. Day 74: I’ve got a nitrogen deficiency on one of my phenos. Added a bit more Power Bloom 2-8-4. It’s a bit too early for these girls to be starving for nitrogen. A couple more weeks and I’ll let it fly. Day 77: That’s a wrap on week 5 of flower. 3-4 weeks until harvest!

This week didn't start very well as while trying to apply LST to one of the two branches I broke it. ❌ Luckily the plant recovered quickly and therefore I was able to proceed with the second topping to continue the mainlining technique. ✔️ The plant is a little asymmetrical, but I will try to adjust it in the next weeks of vegetative growth. 🔍 I slightly increased the nutrients. 🔝
