Welcome back to Fat Yappa's ladies and gentlemen, its been another mad week in the garden. This week these girls have began to produce some serious quantities of bud sites, but the transition into flower has not been without its adversity to be conquered. Gone is the humidifier, and the battle with humidity has commenced. All of a sudden the three larger Banner ladies, together with their Wedding Cheesecake Fastbuds cousin in Coco Coir have levelled up from 2.5L per plant ever four days, to 2.5L every two days, which has increased the humidity substantially, and this week has mostly been a battle to get the RH down to 50% or below, which has meant the tent door has been open as much as situations have allowed for that, the grow tent heater has been turned off, and my central heating has been ramped back up to 21c in an endeavour to dry the air some what, and the room in which the grow tent is situated has seen the addition of an old but reasonable dehumidifier on loan from my parents. I have also had to put some further serious thought into air circulation, and the T6 has been ramped up to level 6 as a constant, the intake fan has been increased, and Ive lowered one of my 40w fans closer to canopy level. The other 40w fan is situated in the top back corner, opposite the carbon filter to try and prevent stale air from building up in there, and I did try and lower this one also, but the way I have it wired, the plug flex would only allow me to gain a couple of inches. Circulation has improved, but is still not ideal across the entire canopy and this has caused some anxiety in regard to humidity and mould etc. To counteract this, and now that bud sites are developing, gaining a clear vision of which fan leaves could be removed, there have been a few defoliation session this week. Nothing major, maybe a couple of handfuls off the the older Bruce Banners, yet compared to the Wedding Cheesecake in Coco, which stands at a whopping 28 inches, towering over everything else in the tent by almost a foot now, despite the LST, which is much less of a leafy specimen and has only lost a dying leaf or two. In terms of LST, I have continued to perform the technique two or three times a week on all the plants, yet have stopped on the four larger plants in the past few days as I fear their stems are becoming too rigid for it now, and to further add to this, there is literally no more space for them to go besides up. The Wedding Cheesecake in Coco is a concern, with it being so high above the rest of the canopy, but there is literally nowhere else to tie her down. I will continue on the smaller Wedding Cheesecake, growing in living soil, and the Bruce Banner runt for another week or so, which at the moment I would describe as being in pre flower, and seem to be about a week behind the other four, until I feel the same fears in regard to the technique damaging them. As hinted at above, space is becoming an issue, housing these six big autoflowers in a 4x4, and the five plants that were originally intended would have been more than adequate to fill the space, and things have become so tight in there that I have had to remove the intake fan and place it on the outside of the tent, but the increase in sound from this has left me dissatisfied with this as a permanent solution. The increase in intake and out take fans, and the edition of the noisy old dehumidifier has caused noise to become a slight issue, but I will be ordering a good, modern, efficient 20L dehumidifier tomorrow and hopefully this will aid significantly toward solving a number of this weeks issues. With most adequate timing, the click from the timer on the sf4000 signals lights out on another day in Fat Yappa's Garden, its time for me to zip these ladies up and tuck them in for the night, so I must bid you all farewell for another week, and wish that all is growing well for you too

Signs of swelling, & smell is picking up. Unhappy gal is still putting out pistils / and no sign of continuous deficiencies. -Need to start bringing up my defoliations / canopy a little bit. Added the first screen into the tent. Decided to kick Big Mumma out because she just wasn't growing any taller and the other plants were really over growing her. For the new setup I used kitty litter trays and mesh to sit the plants on - each plant gets its own tray so I can track runoff EC individually and I cut little flaps in the mesh so I can wet vac the runoff. With this setup I shouldn't need to move the plants out of the tent until harvest. For the scrog I just tied some builders rope around the poles of the tent and tied the trellis netting off with training wire. I've been manipulating the growth just to try and fill out the whole screen, I also gave them a good haircut because I plan on flipping them soon, don't want them to outgrow the tent.

Esa familia, buenas noches , pues vuelvo de nuevo a actualizaros la semana, traigo novedades, primera semana en floración, todo va de vicio, ya han marcado su sexo, y no veáis que color y vigor. Ph en 6,2 temperatura y humedad están dentro de los parámetros correctos. Menos de 50% y temperatura inferior a 27 grados. Solo tenéis que ver las fotos y los vídeos y apreciar su salud. Agradecer a marshydro la confianza puesta para poder ofrecer estos proyectos, y a agrobeta por su gama de nutrientes que probaremos en futuros proyectos. 3/4/24-Here we are with the ladies goin to their second week. Yay baby flowers 💚 Have a few things going on. I apparently suck at the trellis thing lol. At flower they were all pretty even..I would tuck a few stragglers that got taller under. They’ve went crazy now and I don’t really have anywhere to tuck them other than away from the lights which I don’t wanna do. There was some discoloration on the tips of leaves which I assumed was light or nutrient related, so I dimmed lights a bit and checked the runoff water. Omg. It was wayyyyy too acidic. Like high 4’s low 5. Some leaves also appear to be showing magnesium deficiency.. which I assume is because of the crazy acidity. I’m giving dechlorinated tap water (no normal nutes) without phing it because it’s very alkaline. Hoping it will bring things back up. Oh, I sprinkled epsom salt on the soil before watering. (Magnesium) Really crossing my fingers that I am doing the right things and don’t screw this up! These ladies still look really good to me considering.. but only time will tell. Update: pretty sure I had nitrogen toxicity and too much salt buildup in the soil. In the meantime got what seemed to be magnesium deficiency. I’ve been giving only water with some epsom salt and the girls seems much happier. Hopefully Krisis averted 😂

Every time I open the tent I'm amazed at the size of these two. They're easily dominating half the 4x8 and have really spread out as the bud weight has set in. Tent is giving her some support around the edges haha. This week the buds have noticable swollen and are becoming more dense and trichome packed. Still lots of white pistils so would say it's still on track to be a week or so behind the other plants. That's ok, at this rate I'll need the dry space haha. Gave the girls a light defoliation this week, mainly just removing dying leaves from deep inside the canopy. Nothing major, no branches or offshoots, and will most likely be her last one. Otherwise just keeping the environment and nutes dialed in the get these two smoothly to the finish line.

My 3 Jack Herers' have started to pre-flower. Nutrients will be the transitional between veg and bloom . Lots of side branching on all the plants with Ellie may trailing behind

Do you think her leafs are getting fatter? how thick are they though, seriously ?? so thick ! that's that 100% indica i guess, really striking to see her asleep with those fat leafs isnt it? tried out the obscurity to try and get some nice in, hope you find them nice ! i really like that dramatic effect with the lighting and the shadow but to be honest i'm not the most talented photographer so i dont really know if it's working for you or not, so let me know ! she's growing as expected basically, squat, short, thick, doesnt really need that much attention, so far these genetics are an absolute pleasure to grow ! Raised the lights to the normal height, reduced the light schedule to 13/11, fed with some biocanna i had on hand, added some specialized flower micro : that's mag sulfur and cal mag , hopefully this will make the end product more pungent and more potent. let's see some flowers amirite?
