In week 9 my 'Fruity Terp' ladies have grown substantially and filled out the space in my HOMEBOX growtent. Therefore its time to do a round of defoliation. I take out my plants one by one and cut off the lowest branches on the stem (the ones not grown tall enough to get good light) and also the biggest fan-leaves (the ones shading the lower part of the canopy). The defoliation will increase the airflow thru my plants, which will in turn help to avoid mold from a build-up of humidity between the leaves. The light can now also penetrate deeper into the canopy now and therefore lower buds will also get more light and can grow bigger. The SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are doing a GREAT job, my babies love their spectrum and intensity and grow like hell. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work EXCELLENT, all plants have a nice healthy green color. Since we are further in flowering now, I also add PK 13-14 from BIO NOVA following their 'SOIL-CULTIVATION' schedule.

Esta planta pasa de mi indoor a mi outdoor o jardín con techo alto allí recibe las 12 horas de luz sol y las 12 de oscuridad normal... Claro está pondré unos preventivos para acaros

I started germination of 3 Crystal Candy fv beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! This is my first look at this variety so I have no background information on experience for this one. But I will get some from this grow, and if shes blessed. There could be a second run in the future.

Honestly I’m shocked at how big she’s gotten so far. The growth over the last few weeks is crazy. Completely filling up the 2x2 no more room to work with on the sides. Even with lst she’s at 31in tall on four larger main colas. Still watering in so hum soil with just fish shit and recharge, did have an issue for a few days with humidity and the light being too close but got that solved. Still have the very bright yellow tips on the leaves, haven’t really been worried about it too much lately as the problem has not gotten worse. Has been there for a few weeks now, but overall she’s looking very good and I’m excited for final weight off this sucker.

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. This week would be the end of week 2 and the end of streach. Gave a dose of build a flower beggining of the week and they have responded fast they are big for inside plants pretty much whole 5x5 is covered. Did lil defoliating to get the overlaps of bud sites and could tell a diffrence after a few days. Have a slight sknunky bud smell when first open tent. Still just hand watering every other day when meeter runs below a 3. Going great still stay tuned!!!

This is my second time growing this strain and i am much more please this time around. Came out with almost 3 times more than last time and the buds are a lot bigger. Have already ordered another seed because i think this may be my favorite strain!

14.01.2020 Day. 30 Plant is exploding and growing steadily!! This week Iam gonna cut some cuttings and in about 1- 2 weeks time it’s gone go into the big box !! Nothing exiting happing till now but that’s gonna change soon

Начал применять LST технику на 19 дне и продалжаю применять её через день, а 18 августа добавил ДЕФОЛИЗАЦИЮ С 20.08 ДЕФОЛИЗАЦИЮ делаю каждые 3,4 дня С 20.08 LST технику делаю каждые 4.6 дней На сегодняшний день влажность 54% 26 дней назад заметил высокий Ph 7.9 С 48 дня Ph не ниже 5.8 На сегодняшний день Ph 6.0 Начал кормить с 60 дня Canna Terra Vega PPM 550 Погладитель влажности, выполняет свои функции. My First diary. First time growing Fastberry bay Fastbuds. Hyped af. Hope for a big plant. Maybe you'd Like to follow this grow.

D46 - The first day in the third week of flower. Not much to report. I'm pretty much just letting her go at this point, considering how stunted she is. I'm interested in what the result will be but I'm not really willing to spend much time or energy on her. D48 - I'm starting to see more discolored leaves on her, and I suspect that she has thrips considering that I had (have?) them in my other tent. I can't spray her with anything as she is in flower, and I already have a bag with predatory mites on her, so I've done what I can really can. In any case, she is more of a project at this point. The good news is that I think I have discovered why she is stunted. I read online about transplanting when they mentioned that it was important not to transplant when the plant is too dry, as it can cause the root structure to fall apart and thus shock your plant. Well, that is precisely what happened. During the transplant, my girl was dry and lost some earth, which disturbed the roots. 100% user error, as I suspected since this was my first time transplanting. Usually, I plant directly in the final container. I need more training (obviously), so I have started a new grow where I plan to transplant the girls a couple of times. D52 - The end of yet another week. She is getting frosty but is of course still stunted and tiny lol.

Excited and impatient, starting to come on really well now, everything is going ok as it has been all the way through other than a little struggle with keeping the heat down in the grow tent during the first few weeks in veg, bigger tent and all is ok now, small signs of nutrient burn of a feed this week but don't think anything to be worried about from other diaries i have seen. What do you think its going like so far? Any comments with feedback on how its looking or tips for me coming into my final weeks appreciated thanks,, Plant A is at 121cm tall Plant B is at 143cm tall
