🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

28/10/25 Nutrients change today ( a day early ) because i didnt like how she smelt, so flushes, filled hit with 400ml sleeps then flushed, refilled and nutrients Floramax veg 1 Floramax Rezin plus Floramax flowering enhancer Floramax Organabud Green Planet vitathrive Isn cal mag Green planet massive bloom Green planet bud booster ( 30ml scoops x 4 ) Cyco platinum series silica Sleeps with the fishez ( HOCI ) Hit 4.8 e.c, changed 100L got 2.3-2.4e.c, 6.1ph. Hey everyone, We are still tugging along. She is starting to make her buds now, I fed her some microbe life and other than that not much going on. I’m super happy with how much she stretched and is drinking a lot more now. Excited to see how it ends up.

Here we are day 47 a veg , and we're getting pretty close to flipping her to flower.. i'm thinking the first of the year i'm gonna put her in the 2.3x2.3x63 Mars hydro tent where she could blossome, and have the tent to herself.. I'm gonna give her probably a week to really fill in, and then we flip to 12 and 12 .. so far, this plant has been a breeze to grow.. The plant is monster even though I topper at the 6th node she is 51in tall and smell nice fantastic but requires support the plant grows very tall even before having lots of weight in the buds it requires support . today I brought them outside the tent to give them a good water down in order to drain out any excessive buildup in the soil. First week of flowering going well still got a few leaves here and there that look a bit sad but overall they look healthy and are growing like crazy. Upped the nutrients to 900ppm. Still watering every third day. Got some 13” risers and 18” saucers that work incredibly well with these cloth 5gals.

Doing great. Just turned on the big light. Hlg-600. The growth this week was pretty phenomenal. Won’t be that long until I’m stringing my scrog.

Pound cake is hopefully full height now, not much vertical space left. No issues, happy plant, super easy to grow. No change on Nutrients this week. Half gallon daily seems sufficient.

The Auto AK is loving life, handling a slightly over eager first time grower well! The West Coast OG is a little behind, seems a bit more sensitive to pH imbalance and has also suffered from a touch of nute burn 😕 rookie error! Did feed both with some seaweed and 6.0-6.5 pH water. They can't grow quick enough 😂

Day 63 This plant now shows a much fuller canopy, with strong lateral growth and dense foliage. The training earlier in veg has clearly paid off — multiple tops are reaching upward, giving the structure a wide and balanced appearance. The node spacing is fairly tight, and the plant has developed into a bushy, healthy shape. Leaf color is a deep, rich green, a sign of good nutrient uptake. The canopy is vigorous and energetic, with new shoots continuing to push through. The posture of the leaves is upright and responsive, indicating that the plant is currently in a comfortable environment. No major signs of deficiencies are visible from this angle. At this stage, the plant looks ready to transition soon if the goal is flowering. The main considerations now are airflow and light penetration: the canopy is dense, so a light defoliation of older fan leaves could help improve circulation and ensure even bud development later on. Next steps will be to maintain a steady feeding schedule, monitor watering carefully, and prepare for the upcoming stretch once the light cycle is switched.

A very sunny week that made the plants double in size and grow healthier. I didn't water once this week and the plants are good with it, thanks to @MadeInGermany. Pre-flowering stage has started this week and each day I can see more and more pistils. As I expect the plants to stretch the following 2/3 weeks, I thought some little training would help. So I taped a couple leaves downwards in each plant-the ones that blocked sunlight from sidebranches, that will be bud sites in the future-.
